@PsyCLown Thanks, As a newbie still getting the hang of it and having
already over watering my girl maybe its a good option and one less thing to worry about. I`m waiting to see what @TheUltimateNoob can show us to see what will work best.
The Blumat system is not that expensive if you take in consideration that you girls will grow perfectly so definitely worth the investment or follow a DIY route.

I just built an auto watering system for my grow.
Not entirely auto, still have to mix nutes and connect the pipes, but once that's done I just open a tap and it will empty the container into the soil... Provided I leave the container higher than the pot its watering.
Also have one of those 5L plastic bottles that you can pump up to spray out the contents with pressure. Managed to modify it so I can connect the piping - this way the bottle doesn't need to be higher than the pot because the pressure pushes the water up the pipes anyway.
Made it with some 5mm pvc tubing, a few dippers and valves, and some hot glue (for the container that's not pressurised).
The 5L bottle simply involves unscrewing the main pipe and replacing some parts.
Anyone want me to create a thread on how to do it?

Yes please, love those type of threads.

Water it as I said, on Friday again.
With water and Calcium Nitrate, maybe some N
Nothing else, and wait for Friday again.
You could wait for Saturday or Sunday now to really get the medium dry properly and then 1 time a week is good, when it get more, around 2 days, you know your pot is getting too small.
Agreed, will wait for Friday. Will just monitor and hope this did not cause any damage.

@CreX Thanks will try that, i would say its dry to the 1st nuckle currently. Will just have to wait it out.

I definitely over watered on Friday. So yeah guilty as charged. The top part of the soil is dry, so I`m pretty sure the bottom half is too wet. I have lift the pot slightly so there is better airflow below and hope it will allow it to dry faster.

@CreX I have only mixed a Liter currently. Have not fed anything since Friday as the leaves look droopy. So was just starting to prepare for when she`s ready again but the leaves are even more droopy this morning and got those marks on them. I normally keep my feeding bottle in the tent so its not getting to cold outside.

@StickyD420 Thanks , Don`t have Cal-mag only Calcium Nitrate. How much do i need to feed? So this morning have started to prep my by Nutrient mixture. I Ph`d the water to around 6.1 and the EC was around 0.18. I used the Calcium Nitrate to bump the EC to around 0.34 as indicated on the GHE Trio bottles and then added the nutrients one by one stirring in between and at the end double checked the PH. Will the calcium nitrate added, was around 2.5 ml per liter be sufficient ?

@StickyD420 @TheUltimateNoob Need some guidance. This morning I saw some black marks starting to show on the two bigger leaves. Im not sure but maybe its now starting to show Nutrient deficiency.

Okay, quick question for everyone who would like to know too and for my clarification, as you guys seem to use tap water like myself.
Do you guys air stone and air the water for a day or more, or do you air it for a day or more, or just as is?
With regards to the chlorine, or now possibly even chloramine, or is that not here is SA yet?
Basically do the same as @Ill_Evan let it stand for some time before use.

@TheUltimateNoob @Ill_Evan Morning Gents , 100% correct. For a newbie the information shared is a lot and somewhat confusing. So as you was mentioning for my current growth Im using the Formula 1 medium and just want to be 100% sure that the EC, type of nutrients etc.,... is correct for my medium. So my problem was is that I was not sure how the medium is classified. So is it Soil or Coco as the craft soil it was just so confusing as i did not feel comfortable or really understood what it is to know when i need to start feeding nutrients which mixing quantities to use.
From the info received a lot of people to add nutrients but then one read that with coco you need nutrients etc,...... so with my limited knowledge I really wanted just to be sure for the growth Im doing that Im prepared and not going to stuff it up. So when i get to my second growth i could try something different etc,,,,,,,,,
So I have two options , option 1: The GHE Flora Kit. or Option 2 Hotimix Nutrients. So my thought was to go with the GHE Flora range the first time around and to use the COCO ratio as per the chart and see how it goes and just stick to the EC levels as specified and add some Calmag/Epson salts for my first growth.
The good thing is that with all this info available even the info if read from @Totemic on mixing`s one`s own super soils the sky is the limit. My second try i would love to run two different mediums just to see what works better for me and if anything goes wrong is have the forum to come to the rescue.
Coco - organic or synthetic nutrients
in Cocopeat or Coco/Perlite growing

Need to ask an further question, how accurate is these meters on moist levels . Maybe not the correct thread but just wondered if one can use this as an indication to water the ladies.
