I agree, And it would depend on factors, firstly is it outside in the ground, or inside in a pot. Because one, outside you going to want to look after the earth and its life therein, as you will be feeding the plant and not the soil, so it will die away (view depending) Inside, in your tent and pot, you can do what you like, you not hurting shit. I have used mixed, with good results, and only in my opinion and my mates, prefer the soil to be fed and find a longer lasting high, maybe not as punchy, but longer, and debatable sweeter.

This gives me an idea, of what could be achieved. Doing what you suggested Dave, and creating a relationship with the local guys, which I'd love to do too, and sell their products, and if a deal could be done, that you sell clones of their strains, then surely this would become very beneficial for both sides, and as you are advertising (in some way) and selling their clones (with discussed royalties), it might be in the breeders best interest to pheno hunt a special cut just for you, as they would be benefiting too. Just thinking aloud, and better than not getting anything for the clones, or them not being up to par.

If I purchase a plant, any, from a nursery, or any item in life for that matter, once paid for, it becomes your property and item, to do as you please or see fit, clone, sell, break or whatever... Is that ethical, that's another debate all together. Should you reimburse or credit the breeders, that is up to you, and how you want to build a relationship, or not, with that specific breeder, and if they even care at all, I dont know these answers. I'd like to credit them for sure myself, and I do that already.

Put to flower May 28th (harvest today) So far the biggest nugs I've seen and if I didnt play around, it would have come out so much better too. I have another coming next round, perfected hopefully.

I had a look through the thread, and I'd say other than my previous comments. You might likely have packed so much food into that soil, and will assume you have not been doing a plain water feed, or doing runoff feeds, and have built up too much in there now, from the very dark leaves and now Getting lockout.
