What's up man!! i couldn't figure out this space after i saw you have a tent hahaha... but its looking good man. the Mylar is a welcome improvement, and the flags are, lol... likely just in the way other than a light curtain effect to block a bit of light... if that is its purpose then fine... but if there is no reason to obscure the light, i would just let them be as they are but without the flags... i run my veg like this..(yes okay fine, its because my zips are bust and i cant close the tent lol, but it works just fine) and then you could maybe put more film on the "ceiling" and the "floor" to give it a finished look. are you able to raise the Ceiling at all? i would consider it if you are able as i think you might run into issues with height later. another thing would be to turn those lights wattage up a bit... you really want to curb all stretch in the space you have.

yea man it was a life saver for me as well... i was going the sterile route, but i knew very little about how to keep things sterile, and its not at all easy for a home grower, growing on the home growers budget ...and so i fucked it up and got the dreaded brown snot slime (cyanobacteria) and literally nearly packed up my grow shit and stopped growing, i was 3 days from quitting when i came across a tea recipe called Heisenberg's compost tea... sourced all the ingredients locally, made the tea,...and in 3 days after application into my res, i had new white happy roots growing in my water...i couldnt believe my eyes!! and so my growing vigor and enthusiasm resumed! the 2 most important ingredients in the tea were the mycos(great white) and the bacilli's bacteria genes(ancient forest compost) ...the rest were just additional sources for diversity or foods for the microbes. so eventually i made teas less frequently and just added regular doses of those 2 main ingredients and shit seemd great haha.

i think you should be using that 75w right now for your veg ladies, unless you have plants in flower right now? also, not sure about that LED light you got, i think as soon as you can you should buy another 75w or something beefier. it will transform your grow!! the 50w light may also be a bit under powered so you may want to lower it a bit. do you have a phone lux meter? you can get a free one from that app store... your seedlings should be getting around 10-15k lumens for good growth and good call on not buying anymore acdc cheapos! the better ACDC light would have been the FL-150-CW...i have a few of them in use for a few years already

seems we can see which method is more advantageous here... i planted my beans directly into my meduim, hoping they get to grips very fast. but keen to see if this way is perhaps safer

in veg i would push it to 2 weeks, but stick to the 10 days in flower. even after the first 2 weeks inoculant you could go back to the 10 days reschange and you should be good. id inocluate with 1tsp for the first 2 weeks, and then half a teaspoon at every reschange there after, along with the enviroc401 you will be smilling - i used emprosoil instead of the enviroc, but i think they both have the bacilli's bacteria that benifits you you will start to notice a thin milky buildup on your airstone piping, this is good... it comes off easy as well... but i would leave it as it forms part of your (in a soft voice) rhizosphere

the concentration is hectic strong according to the internet... 2% of the volume, so like 200ml in 10l mix.... but dont go that strong... you dont need to worry about it burning your plants, but have had good results with teaspoon or 2 per 10l. do you have a powder or the black balls?

its not that bad haha!! remember @Prom specialty is not photos... and he still has to pot up a few times... not sure which way he is going to do it... but he also dropped his beans first haha, he got going right from the word go! theres still time for us slow pokes

love it Boytjie!! throw some of that mycoroot into your res as well, IMO it is the best to add to your hydro - it works differently, but the same... and protects your roots and makes them grow like mad! not sure how often you do your reschange, but i found that the mycos work best if left in the water for 2 weeks

And last night I opened up my tent and saw the pistols and something else! I am used to any sort of colour only cooling through towards the end of flower.... Not this strain... I have 2 phenos that are already going red tones to the calyx and it shows! Keen to see the plants in a week!

And the move to flower. I had neglected to install stakes in these pics... But I have since picked some up and installed them along with some trellis netting to support the plants.

The transition to the big tote

Yo guys! i have been gifted some seeds from @Prom a while back and promised to do a grow diary with them. so this is my bash at it! ill try keep it going and do a smoke report i have been a little slack with the diary entries, but am ready to post a small journey with them. i do not have their baby photos anymore since my old phone decided to pack up, but i do have a pic or 2 of their adolescent stage and now that they are flowering i am gonna be adding more updates. what a pleasure to grow this plant though... i didn't have much space for the 4 girls at first, and so they grew well into their pots before they went into their final home, never complained and actually looked better than half my other plants in larger homes most of the time. they all grew quite large leaves with a subtle blue undertone from their happy growth. i potted them up into the tote and let them stretch their legs for some time before flipping, making sure i can get an even canopy was a bit tricky with the 4 phenos, as there are 2 above average stretchers. as soon as i flipped the tote, the ladies coudlnt stop thanking me with lovely green growth and fast growth. i have taken cuttings of each pheno and man am i glad i did! the one pheno is already going red and its only the 2nd week of flower! iv never seen anything like this before haha!! please enjoy and come along for the ride.

That looks like some male bananas man... Try get a clearer Pic, but the colour and shape looks like nanners to me

if i can give one piece of advice for the large totes... start the plants in the pot, let the roots fill the thing.... its a glorious beast when shes going!

yoh love the grow bed man!!! i have been eyeing these beds for a while now... but i think they may be too flimsy for my methods... which is why i use the large black totes instead. but its defs the way to grow!

all 3 popped just fine... but my fiddle fingers fucked fings and now im down to two

i must chime in here with my past meter readings for HID systems... electronic ballasts may be more accurate than the magnetic ballasts with stated wattage, but until you have checked the wattage, dont believe the rating. it may put out 400w of light, or 600w of light... but the draw from the wall can be significantly higher. the magnetic 400w i used to use had a draw of 670w out the wall

you can try extract the oils with a butane extraction... but i dont think it will be so nice even then... i wouldnt make any tinctures or infuse anything with that plant that died. i rate you stick around the site, and glean as much info as you can about how to grow some fire, and then apply what you learn with you next grow. in 10 months, you should be able to grow a few kilos outdoor with the right garden space or in 10 months in pots, you should be able to get close to a kilo outdoors. or in 10 months you could harvest a few kilos indoor if you really apply yourself. this community can and will help you grow the best you can...as long as you want the help

Nutriplex is common - i wouldnt say its the most amazing, but its cheap and available also Haifa nutrients, although not so available, but i am enjoying them but to be straight, i wanna try the TA stuff... everyone who has touched it has improved dramatically in their grows... they gotta be doing something right...right??
