@PsyCLown "Too early can also lead to a possible disruption in your REM cycle" very interesting ever since I smoke my own stuff I dont have groggy mornings so much.

@Ill_Evan There no such thing as Indica gives me couch locked effect and sativa gives energy its all subjective. My same strain produced a harvest that i felt like made me lazy and my latest harvest is an energetic one.....same strain. Just like a wine, how its grown and at what latitude and altitude its all different factors.... my theory.

Week 6 flowering done..... Nothing much to see or say
Left plant the Purple Haze..... So far she is a pleasure to grow.. Strong growth and nice straight branches with big leaves. I do have noticed that she is more sensitive to PH fluctuations than the other girl.

Hello everybody . I'm Sumeshan but you can call me Sumi . I'm very green to growing (pun intended) I have started my 1st grow about 3 months ago , the girls have now been switched into flower and I'm hoping I have the biggest buds I could possibly grow . I'm growing in a soil medium that I got from the growstation . And the girls are a Gelato OG and a Banana kush respectively. They are now currently on a 12/12 light schedule . Glad to be here so I can learn from the community and possibly help others if I can.
@SuMi Welcome bud... hhmm I would advice not to aim for growing the biggest buds, growing big buds requires 100% environmental control or you WILL get bud rot and mold.

@Ill_Evan Ive had no more PH issues, guess I am back to reservoir change every week. Defs agree with @Mambawana you dont know what your plants have consumed, plus I think in my case the water looses ph stability in the 2nd week, Ive read once that CT water comes from runoff in limestone rich catchment areas.

@PsyCLown I used to add 6ml to 20l of water every week with nutes change. Not sure if it did anything but this round I am doing without, so far so good.

@Bakstein420 interesting.. I find that CT water is in general ph7 when adding my nutes ph 6 and stays stable" used to" haha

@CleanGreen yeah 2 weeks is too long. And you not supposed to be adding Nutes during the week because in dwc the ratios of each of the nutrient elements changes according to the plant feeding. They eat what they want and not equally. So in other words there could still be enough phosphorus in the solution and now you adding more by putting in more nutes. That extra phosphorus can drop the ph. Always top up with just plain water. Make notes of the ppm. If the plants are showing they need stronger Nutes dump that res and remix a fresh res.
And wash your airstones everytime you change the res. The slime that grows on the airstone will also mess with ph and cause root problems.
Hope you come right so you can flip that switch with confidence...
Just on a side note so I know. Have you grown in dwc before or is this your 1st crack at the turbocharged form of growing weed.
@Mambawana I planted her seed 18 September 2019, that generation 5 clones, 4th harvest, on average 270g per reservoir/2 plants in one tank.
I dont add extra nutes when refilling during the week, just good old tap water that I air out for 24hr. Just not sure what happening with the ph fluctuations, till now I did not had to do much to ph corrections.

@CleanGreen @Mambawana So today I tested both veg reservoirs, both in red ph. So what I realize is that instead of every week nutes change I did once every two weeks. Seems like the water looses stability after a week and I dont wanna be adding base everyday and mess with ph.

@Mambawana Its my vegetative crop, have two 45l bins each with the same ratio nutes, only difference is that out of the four plants one (Purple Haze) is new. So that why i suspect her. Also the reservoirs work independently from each other.

@Mambawana Thanks man.. well so far I have done 0 on humidity and temperature of air/water. Warmest it got 26 and coldest 8 no root rot.Strong aquarium air pump on each 45l bin. My ph was stable until I introduced a Purple Haze... she turns the water acidic quickly. Using the cheap hortimix dry nutes.

Loadshedding and Lighting Schedules
in Indoor Growing

@Ill_Evan Meh I wen through this last year and at the beginning of the year, it gave me sleepless nights. But remember when you start flowering the transitional stage is about 10-14 days. Also plants outdoor don't receive 18hrs direct sunlight. The only girls i move to sunlight is the clones.... The oxygen in the water..... once I forgot to turn it on for a week in mid summer, nothing happened! Ill start stressing when load shitting carries on for more as a week at stage 6.
