  1. 800 watts = 3.63A 1050w = 4.73A = 8.36 You can easily run that off a single socket.
  2. I've split everything over two plugs and have more have enough amps to spare. My breakers are 20AMP each. I'm still able to run all my electronics equipment as well.
  3. I stopped worrying about my usage, I run close to 3000 watts of lights now with about 5 x 150 watt fans. When summer hits I'll be introducing a AC for the grow area, so close to 4200 watts.
  4. If you actually like tell me an hour or two before hand then sure and not when you're at a place expecting me to pitch.
  5. The clones were from me and the bruce banner father is from my breeding stock, which accidentally pollinated one of the clones.
  6. I know someone who has ordered and got all auto's when they were meant to be photo's
  7. Yep I do the same. On side note, I'm busy soaking 5 Chocolate Mint OG - Humboldt.
  8. You could introduce a second pump to drop wise with a base chemical and that way you cover both directions, but I don't really see the need for it, other than for fun.
  9. I never really worried or factored in time-to-count logic. I do constant readings of the levels and treat it as a drop wise solution, drop; mix; wait; mix; measure; drop, rinse and repeat. Due to the rate of the drops I don't really need to worry about excessive overshoot. But with all that said, it was really just done as a hobby project one afternoon for fun, so I was not really concerned about 0.5% accuracy. Edit as per your edit: The impeller was used as an agitating device to mix the solution around to ensure the acid gets fully saturated. It does not do anything to the pH Edit 2: I think you're over analyzing the solution and desired outcome. It's really not as complicated as you think. Edit 3: We built microbial bio reactors at varsity using a similar approach, using bases instead of acids though.
  10. I've designed an automated PH up/down mixing solution. PH probe that runs to a controller, controller controls a impellar to mix solution, another signal controls a peristaltic pump and then its just a matter of doing some base line determination in order to figure out what the total PH increase will be based on the release of the pump, once you've done that you write an formula to determine the run cycle of the pump in order to achieve the PH level. Obviously some caveats would be impurities of your water at that point in time. In reality for small scale use its kinda impractical, but when you're dealing with huge grow ops it would be far more beneficial.
  11. Thanks, it's pretty ghetto at the moment and my aim is to write a very watered down version of the software to get it on a PI or some other controller. I would have liked to have gone the Atmel route but its just not powerful enough to interpret the data stream fast enough and do all the colour calculations.
  12. Not all his plants are auto's that is why he had to deal with his grow in a certain manner.
  13. Nice of you guys to come to the party, and what was I wrong on previously if you don't mind me asking? @Pat999 Now if you don't go and tarnish Hydro Herbs name then you're just a sucker.
  14. If you're doing it as a hobby then you don't really need the quantum sensor, but if you need accurate results for a potential product then its invaluable.
  15. Cool, yeah i'm busy designing my own lightning system, hence my reason I got one. I also built my own color spectrometer that allows me to check the wavelengths. It seems relatively accurate if I compare it to a friends 25k one.
  16. Cool I have the MQ-500. Please tell me you have a better light than that 65 watt? And you did not spend 3-4k on a sensor for a 2 1/2 k light?
  17. Yeah, highly unlikely I'll ever lend mine out I'm afraid.
  18. You've measured this with a quantum sensor or just thumb sucking this value?
  19. That's my biggest issue with this situation, is the entire complacency of Pat.
  20. So when are you actually going to start going off at him on social media? Also have you emailed Gavita? This has basically stolen your money.
  21. While kelpak contains cytokine and auxins. If you're looking for truth grow stimulants you need to use Gibberilic Acid (GA3), however note that this stuff is potent and usually causes stem elongation. So it should really only be used for very old seeds that may have lost viability.
  22. 600 watts in that cab size is going to be very hot.
  23. Dual spectrum in HPS is not dual spectrum, https://hydroponic.co.za/hydroponics/sunmaster-dual-spectrum-600w/ 2000K is not dual spectrum, its very heavy on the flower.
