So to summarise and cover each question: 1. Should we keep it in checked luggage or carry on? Carry On 2. How should we package it? Small jar to keep the smell at bay. Not that it's a major concern. Bank bag will do fine too. 3. If we do get stopped by the cops what should we do? Tell them you have rights. Remind them of the law they should be aware of 4. How much is too much? I wouldn't push with more than 10g's but you should be allowed to travel with more

I don't think there is a need for them to state specifically about flight travel. Unless that has been done already. What's on your private person is exactly that, private. It falls in the same bracket as taking cigarettes or booze on board. Also, it's just another mode of transport... if you're allowed to get into a taxi with it then why not a plane...

You are allowed to fly with it. It's on your private person and as the law allows you to carry a certain amount with you at any time, for personal use, the same applies to when you are flying domestically. I did it not too long ago. I think I had about 10g's in my backpack which went through the scanner at security. No issues. Was quite funny, after landing someone opened up the above head stow away compartment with my backpack in and the area immediately stank up You may get the odd ignorant security staff member who thinks otherwise but quickly educate them and take the matter further if necessary. I would definitely keep it in your carry on luggage or in your pocket. If they confiscate for whatever reason when finding it in your checked in luggage, you have no chance of arguing it. Good question and have often wondered myself. I feel it saves more and forces us to use less hot water. I have the timer on for 2 and a half hours in the morning and I find that the water is still pretty hot the next morning when the geyser kicks on again so not as much energy needs to be used to get the water up to temp again. Climate does help this though with our days frequently being between 30 and 40C. Winter is a different story. I'd have to test the theory to be sure and leave the geyser on for 3 days, measure total consumption and then use the timer for 3 days and measure consumption. Could be interesting.

My geyser is on a timer... so I have that addressed. Still bloody expensive though

It's a sign from the gods! So basically you need to purge the tent of as much oxygen as you can and have co2 displace it. Once you think you've displaced with co2 you'll need to seal up the tent and let it sit for an hour or 2. With just co2 in the tent the bugs will asphyxiate and die. That's where the dangerous part comes in for you though. You need to make sure that you don't inhale too much co2 yourself in the process. If you pass out with a bunch of co2 in the air and a tank still releasing co2, it's tickets Strongly advise you don't do it alone and plan it out carefully. How big is your tent? EDIT: you may need a regulator to attach to the bottle. See if mygas can rent one out to you as well

You're quite deep into flower now and I wouldn't really advise spraying pyrol now... problem is you still have a few weeks to go. That leaves you with few options right now. You can try control it manually by removing/wiping by hand. Quite tricky with thrips as they move around quite quickly. Another drastic but effective measure is purging your tent with CO2 but this is a tricky procedure and needs to be done with caution as you could kill yourself. I'm currently renting out a co2 bottle for homebrew beer. I rent from MyGas who sells 10L of co2 for just over R300. They then charge you R4-00 a day for the bottle rental. No deposit needed.... As I say its a drastic measure but it should work. Will give your plants a little boost in the process as well

Ya power consumption is an issue with an AC. It does use less power when in DH mode but probably not as little as a dedicated DH. Good luck out there

You are gonna you need to drop that RH. How badly insulated is that room as it may still be more effective than sitting a dehumidifier in a tent with constant ventilation. If you are gonna sit the DH in your tent you need to cycle the ventilation on and off, like on for 30 mins and then off for 30 mins. Or even every 15 mins. Can be complicated as it's a small space with air that constantly gets exchanged, making it very hard for a DH to be effective. If the air sits relatively still in that outside room then I would still say sit the DH in the room and not the tent. Cycling the extraction fan can work though if you can dial it in right. There's someone selling their used DH here. I'm no expert on dehumidifiers though. I think the strength of the DH will depend on where you ultimately place it and how you dial in your ventilation. Have you maybe considered a portable aircon instead? They're the same price and can do dehumidification. Plus it'll help you out if things get too hot or cold as well. You may also be able to channel the AC's output vent to run into the tent via ducting and use an extraction fan to exhaust the tent. Not sure if the same can be done with a DH

I'm all for it. More often than not, those who are using hardcore drugs are numbing some sort of trauma that needs to be addressed. Locking the user up will just make matters worse for them, psychologically and financially. Plus, in this country's prisons, those drugs are more easily accessible than on the streets. The state doesn't give two shits about your well being, so them locking you up under the pretense that it's for your well being is absolute shite and they have no data to back that up. Really makes no sense

Great idea. I can only look at the good genetics and dream. This route makes things a lot easier This has also sprung up a separate board idea now. Seeing as trust plays a large role the board will have to be restricted by a reasonably high post count. Of course the element of risk will still be there but that's up to you guys and where you take the collective buy after the topic has been created A member who wants to look for collective buyers for a specific pack can start a topic of their own and look for other members to join on the collective buy.
