  3. So update for this week: Buds sites seem to be progressing nicely. Although I'm loving the coir as a medium so far it's becoming a bit of a hassle to water it three times a day, I'll probably try bigger pots next time. Week 13 Grape Balls of Fire: This plant has bud sites everywhere, very nice structure. T Crescendo RBX2: Sensi Star: Probably my favourite so far. Very leafy but thick branches, great structure and thick bud sites Braincake: This one just keeps getting taller. This plant also seems to have the occasional leaf yellowing on the bottom leaves (looks like nitrogen def), it gets the same nutrients as the other plants so I'm not sure if it's actually related to a deficiency or whether it's just a strain related thing. I think this one is going to take some time to complete it's flowering.

  5. So it is going. Some plants are starting to show potential. Others not so much. Exo Cheese is the most disappointing. And OG Kush. OG has mold. It has rained once. WTF. Amnesia and Sapphire OG is going great guns. Not far behind is the Green Crack and Wedding [emoji513]. Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk

  7. So I split my mix into 2, one went into a black container, 50lt , and the other in my garden under a tree. Covered with a black bag or tent cover. And rocks to weigh is down but I gets hot!! I found the one in the container to be the cleaner one. So using that for my indoor. It clean but the one in the garden ,wasn't so great. Dont let it go over 7 days, cause it will cool down and flies love that stuff. That's what I learnt . Yes the mycelium will colonize the bran ,all over. That's why you turn it, so the whole pile is colonized . Remember that ,to inoculate a 20kg bag of soil, you would use a cup of imo4. Little goes a long way. Imo is added to indigenous soil to add back, what has been taken out or missing. Like you play God with your lights, you are the food web, you capturing something that's naturally available in the eco system. And putting it back into your soil. Basically refreshing the "environment " soil. That's why when collection imo, it's best done in an untouched, by humans, environment. A farm, forests etc. But specific to where you growing .

  8. Keep in mind that you still pay for customs. I personally prefer QB's over strips, but both can work great. It comes down to the LED's and the way you layout the lights. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

  9. Theres still a lot of misinformation floating around, and while you’re on the right track Justin, lets get the terminology right, so everyone can get on the same page regarding LEDs. First off, the best LED grow lights will alway use diodes. The reason is simple- diodes have become powerfull enough that they work well, and prices will only come down. COBS work very well, but since they are a point source, they cannot give you optimum coverage. Many diodes spaced intelligently, kept at the correct distance will beat COBS all day long. They run cooler, and are more efficient overall. PAR is Photosynthetically Active Radiation. It is not a measurement of intensity. PAR only defines the spectrum. PPF- Photosynthetic Photon Flux is a measurement and tells us how many PAR photons a light emits per second. PPFD-Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density is a measurement of how many PAR photons are landing on a given area per second. Think of it like a birdshot shotgun shell. The balls are the shells PAR. The shell has only so many little lead balls in it (PPF). If you shoot those balls at an object close to the muzzle, they all hit close to each other, in a concentrated pattern (High PPFD). Fire at an object further away, and the balls will disperse and land over a larger area (Low PPFD).
