  2. Whatever you put on there is going to have an effect on the pressure intake, so dont put something like a cone filter because you fan doesnt have the pull power of an engine.

  3. I have a stocking at the end of my duct which stops debris, insects and such getting into my fan. I don't see the point of adding another carbon filter to the incoming. My internal carbon filter is https://www.futurama.co.za/carbon-filter-150x500mm-6-x20-50mm-carbon-bed/, my tent is under constant negative pressure so you cannot smell a thing at all. Even if im standing right next to it I can't smell anything.

  5. I am always dubious of local seed sellers. Seeing a positive order or two here on the forums using Trophy Seeds, I decided to give them a try. Ordered from their selection of single female seeds and paid in cash. Trophy seeds respond quickly, are friendly and keep you updated on your order details. Shipping is discreet and well packaged. Delivery time was one business day outside of Gauteng. 100% Germination in 3 days. I thought one of the seeds might be cracked, tried germinating it, and it seems it may of been two seeds fused together.

  6. Lol Another thing you could use is the dust filter from modern computer boxes - https://www.wootware.co.za/lian-li-pt-af14-2b-removable-washable-dust-filter-mount-kit-for-140mm-system-fan.html or you can use an open cell sponge thinly sliced, or you can use medical guaze (any pharmacy) The problem here is that the more effective your dust filter is, the faster it will clog, the more often you will have to clean it.Also, when it clogs it will reduce air pressure inside and plant s might get hot.You have to find a balance between thse 2 factors.

  7. No doubt its not the power of an engine That cracked me up Very good point you bring up @Batista, but still think the restriction from a cone filter wont be so bad to burn out the Fan motor.

  9. I actually have the 6" x 8" (150mm x 200mm) option, so it is a bit shorter. You can push or pull through them, so perhaps you can make it fit your situation. You don't need a rope to go rock climbing, it certainly helps when you fall I cool using positive pressure to further keep nasties out, a good filter is a must for me.

  10. Thanks @TomHill the phresh does look legit but I'm gonna need something a little smaller. @Pvt_sToNeR I've been looking at these https://accessorylab.co.za/products/homedics-hepa-filter-for-ar-10a . I actually did look at the cone filter option but they're too small @greenkush stocking is a good go to option if there's nothing else. Would like to try use something designed for the purpose though

  12. If i think about it in a basic DIY point of view, you could use a cone filter that cars use on there air intake and just duct it to your intake ? Yes its not as fancy as your option but cone filters go for so cheap so i rate its worth a shot. I just thought if it could keep your engine clean from dust and bugs it would do the same for the grow area ? Just a random brain fart

  16. Nothing against Nutriplex as it works great, I have had many successful grows with it and will still be running it on other plants (not featured in this grow) I am switching to test if there are any gains to be had using a different nutrient range. Especially adding the calcium chelate as the water being used is extremely soft. Will be running some GHE too soon I hope, in the past I have had fantastic results from it. As for the dosage, the plants have just been switched to: EC 0.8 / 512 ppm 5ml micro / 4L 5ml grow / 4L 2.5ml bloom / 4L 0.4 ml EM / 4L Grown with Nutriplex - Female Seeds NL C99

  17. What's up terrestrial aliens[emoji89][emoji451] So an update of the flowering tent tonight, everything is doing good however my White Widow is the only one giving problems. A really finicky strain I must admit and a pain in the holeybutt. I'm thinking Calcium, I will however be making amendments before my proper grow actually starts up. I'm hoping to have it run smooth like a baby's bottom[emoji41] We got the Vanilla Kush and Fruit Spirit showing their lovely buddage, sploosh[emoji97][emoji97] Onwards!! Think it's 1939 the coin can't exactly remember now. Anyhow brother I fed the big flowering girls yesterday and the small veg girls, I also pruned all of the flowering girls, making sure they're gonna grow exactly how I want them. Main lined and pushing all nutes up top. We got a few pics of bungle in the jungle[emoji6]those who get my Jethro Tull[emoji319][emoji319] Have a blessed day brother Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk
