  1. I had a new cannabis seedling come up last week. It had 4 Cotyledon leaves. After the first set of leaves emerged there were 4 of them too. What is going on here. Should I hold on to this plant or throw it out.

  5. Morning DannyH I actually chuckled when I read this now as I think by what I've read you remind me of my younger self....lol and I only turned 40 in May this year...haha. I'm honestly sorry to hear this " C..NT " has destroyed so much that has personal value to you.... Your meds you grow. Life is full of sentimental things that mean a lot to us personally but not to others. Your roomy is a " cause and reaction " type of guy, he's causes a situation to see the reaction he can get out it and learns from your reactions to find out what buttons he can push and what he can get away with.. call it subconsciously controlling you if you will, he's going to push your buttons till you go " fuck it " and let him get his way, so he's won a small victory cause he's broken you and knows next time he can start taking bigger chances cause the chances of him getting you to cave in to his wants... ( he only pinches a bud here and there and you let him get away with it cause it's easier than arguing so he's won, in 6 months time he starts helping himself to fresh product ) There is 3 bumps in the friendship cycle DannyH and if I'd known them when I was younger my life would of been easy sailing but maby not as much fun....haha 1st bump.... So you've been mates for however long and he fucks up to the point where this is the 1st bump but because you like to give the person the benefit of the doubt you proceed with the journey...... 2nd bump....So months or a cpl years have past and you both now approach the 2nd bump in your friendship/dealings in life and this is where that " niggly " I told you so moment passes through your mind as you recall the 1st bump, and now you start to wonder bout the effort you've put in and whether it's worth the time and effort in proceeding with the friendship or whatever the problem/situation is as the 3 bumps in life is applicable to almost any challenge you face... 3rd bump... Now sadly this is the bump because of my faith in human nature that I seem to find most often in my dealings with obstacles in my life because I let situations take advantage of me....So you have 2 choices now at this 3rd bump in the road that you are now approaching. You can either as you have done and that is turn around and go around the bump as its no longer going to be a bump in your future and carry on with a awsome life or if you decide going over the 3rd bump is worth it.......... Then as I have done with some of my 3rd bumps cause they are worth it I either get new shocks or let some air out the tires and proceed over the 3rd bump brother Danny... If you start learning to avoid/ go around bumps now it will serve you well in your later years.....

  9. Hate to break it to you, that is where HLG originally got their QB boards manufactured, by Bava or Hansion. Sure... I think you misread. I was saying that a new production run of QBs wouldn't be a good idea now. It was a good idea when I did it in June 2017. But now everyone in Shenzhen has caught on, and is sitting on stock of HLG clones, ready to sell. I would rather put my effort into designing something that you can't get from China (yet). Everyone is cloning everyone, if you can get a product at a fraction of the price and its genuine products then go for it. Unless you are an photonics engineer, by the time you've come out with something china has already done it 10 fold over. Personally the lights themselves are very easy to construct (I've done a few builds myself), I am busy building a new project which is entirely automated (light wise), but at a fraction of the cost in terms of components, using custom coded firmware (by me). Fabrication and design is where is at, the actually light source is so saturated with options now, If i was going back to the drawing board i'd design a unit which is easily expandable similar to the fluence rails.

  11. So here I am at work, just chillin it out thinking of how much electricity my newly set up, setup, will cost to run each month. Pretty sure we all wanna know how much things cost us to use them, specially when you're trying to lay low like well worn road kill in this area. Now some of you may know how to do these calculations, however if you don't, take a peek up my skirt right below. To start off you need to know how much Watts your whole setup uses. Now alot of times I've worked out how much the lights will use, but fail to recon in the other 200-300w used for fans including oscillating fans and inline fans. These run 24 hrs a day and uses quite an amount itself. So we go according to my setup: Gavita is using 750w currently Quantum boards are pulling 60w each, so 120w total for them Inline fan uses 90-95w for low speed Oscillating fans use about 45-50w each To understand the KWH reading, you'll look at it always as 1 KWH = 1000watts. So if my light uses 750w, I've used 0.75kwh for 1 hour. Always remember to Divide your usage watts with 1000. My Gavita light will be on for 12 hours every day, so the following calculations are for it. 12 Hours x 750w ÷ 1000 = 9kwh for a day. 9kwh x 31 days (For the whole month) = 279kwh. For my Quantum Boards they'll be on for 18 hours every day. 18 Hours x 120w ÷ 1000 = 2.2kwh a day. 2.2kwh x 31 days = 68kwh. For the fans they'll be on 24 hours non stop till the panties drop 24 Hours x 190w ÷ 1000 = 4.6kwh a day. 4.6kwh x 31 days = 143kwh. So if we add all these noodles into the big pot we have: 279kwh + 68kwh + 143kwh = 490kwh give or take a few. At this rate I pay R1. 90/kwh. 490kwh x R1. 90 = R930 +- per month to run my whole setup. I hope this helps anyone who's thinking of upgrading but wants to know how much it'll cost to run per month to budget out the rest of the electricity that you'll need for the fan you got on the toilet for when things get tough and you're sweating a bit. If you have questions, pop them down below like a fat pimple. Stay safe, be blessed and never wipe back to front. Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk
