Khakibos

4 males and 5 females were used for this open pollination - pollen from all 4 males was first collect about 1,5g of each and then mix together and all females were dusted with pollen mix. 

They are all in rather small pots (2.5L) and hit rather early with pollen so seed production is going to be minimal (well this and the fact that they were started outdoors - moved indoors for flower and pollination for about 3-4 weeks,  Plants were then washed and sprayed down and moved into a hot house under my afdak and that's where they have been chilling.) Males were grown indoors in a close loop / sealed tent whatever you'd like to call it and I only took one to keep.

I say the keep but I will be using seeds from all the females to continue this open pollination further down the line.

One of my females ended up getting some gnarly rot and was chucked - hit it all the plants with the JWA and a ginger + turmeric + RO water solution and didn't have any issues with them

So I recently bought a pack of Bodhi seeds and this isn't really a breeding project - more of seed making. Before we begin though please note I am not a breeder by any means, I'm a hobbyist grower that does some pollen chucking to make my own seeds and preserve genetics from packs I've purchased/acquired. Say what you want - but I don't put my seeds out there or charge people money for them if they really keen to try it out, I try my utmost best to handle my pollen with care and be respectful of other people in my area but hey I'm sure we've all had a season just growing females outdoors and finding seeds in them. I'm sure depending where you stay it might even happen to your indoor plants sometimes.

How long did you keep the inddor BHP in flower ? 

@Naughty.Psychonaut That cut definitely seems to be leaning more towards the BD than the HP - Those outdoor flowers though

Best to shop around a bit, pricing is crazy AF - I got a decent silicone rig from African Smoke shop a while back for pretty cheap (I keep breaking my glass setups) only kak thing is I can't smoke flower out of it because resin literally like soaks into it and the smell doesn't come out  

I like putting rosin in my joints - fold the one side of the paper in half and spread a little in-between the fold if you get what I mean, makes it easier to roll with the rosin in the J

I managed to get my hands on something pretty interesting from the last LE that I'm going to do anther open pollination with but it's still going to be a while before I get them going

Just to be clear it wasn't really pollen from "different strains" just pollen from all the Higher Primate males. I wanted to do a selection but decided going for the open pollination to see what else I can find in there as I only bought 1 pack

Definitely a must, I usually pull out random weed plants I see growing a long the side of the veld or anywhere I find them a long my walks. Even if it's not a male, it could herm. Unfortunately the parks in my area have always been the local uhh crackheads hangout, fuck knows about the other drugs they use but I can tell you they smoke kak hermie skyf 

This isn't related to this thread - but I did a open pollination with my Higher Primate pack from Bodhi Seeds (yes I mixed pollen from all the males together before brushing it on them) 

I hit it super early as I could not wait - it was pollenated indoors at a buddies house, I just have them over at my place in a little hot house till the beans are ready  they are in like 2.5L pots

Plants were a bit fussy at first and I just couldn't keep up with feeding them, interesting smell, can only describe it as funky in a good way  

I forgot what plant this was, it is one of the strawberry crosses though 

So unfortunately the strawberry crosses got bud rot and I spotted it to late ..... so uhh yeah

I struggled getting them going but the 3 females I had were all super unique, for some reason I don't have a pic of the 3rd. But all I'm going to say is that if you like making dry sift or ice water hash you'd probably love hunting a cut of this stuff.

SO after hanging I had to move it from one cupboard to anther, cleaned out the bottom of the cupboard and sifted through my grinders keif catcher and man this stuff produces some CHUNKY resin heads (Please excuse the kek lighting) - Still going to be a while but I will post pics after my dry sift run of this stuff

Super easy to grow plants + fast finishers 6 to 8 weeks (I had one plant that I felt 9 weeks was the sweet plant) - overall they did well, rain got to them a bit late flower and I did end up having to remove a few branches due to bud rot.

Easy to grow - I struggled to keep it around the size I would've wanted; side branching can easily get out of control and plant will definitely need supports/ties if you plan on growing it a decent size - I'm really bad with picking out specific terps but I can definitely say it's terpy AF.

So recently I decided to dig into filtering air intake in a grow space for a home grower, and well I didn't get much further than air purifiers and I found this one HEPA filter box which is specially for indoor growing. I also know about those boxes gthydro sells, but they just have like a thin piece of cloth in them or something if I'm not mistaken ?

The HEPA filter box I came across -

Unfortunately my Grapefruit ran into some major issues and had to be dealt with ........... 

We got some decent rain and last week for like 3 days and afterwards I noticed this starting on all the lower nodes of each branch on The GFS sooo yeah all other plants are getting checked on regularly now and seem fine, I've been using some EcoBuzz root pro on them just in case 

@Smelly Joe I'm actually liking the BB x HC more if I'm being honest, so far the BB x HC and the Tortoni are the best smelling plants

With the rain we had during summer I ran into a lot of issues but honestly I just left them alone and a lot of them pulled through fine 

I would've loved to but unfortunately not  , my curiosity got the best of me and I just had to ask regarding the testing.
