Would you guys say then that majority blue spectrum isnt really necessary then? Seeing that the cuttings want to be kept in the veg stage for as long as possible. Min 6 months.

what genetics have you got there brother
Subcool TGA The Third Dimension. He passed and he's genetics will soon be extinct. Its Apollo 13 x Jack the Ripper. Mr Soul bred the original Apollo if i remember correctly. Long history behind the strsin. Was a bitch to get the seeds to germinate. Also have his UVA (Highland Oaxacan Gold x Querkle). Went through 3 packs. No germination. Bad storage

Thanks guys. Was hoping for a budget option haha. I will be keeping the clones in a humidity dome on a shelf indoors on 18/6 cycle. Will trim them down to control size. I really hope that it will be successful. Last of the genetics. Lekker

Howzit growers
I am planning on preserving a strain and it looks like both plants are female. No seeds available. Crossing is no option. The only way that i'm aware of is to take cuttings and keep them alive until the next outdoor season, which is anything from 6-9 months. I don't have a grow tent etc. Space and budget constraints. Which light do you recommend and is this idea achievable? Any advice would be appreciated.

R11000 for 10 seeds is next level. Had to double check to make sure that i wasn't hallucinating. Blown away

If I had a cent for everytime I've had this discussion with people. even here on the forum. but everytime it's a lecture from all sides about how "I just don't undrstand how well connected" these people are, but then the seeds where bought online....
so basically, they're not connected? well, except to the internet. as we all are.
I will not say much, but if someone thinks they got landrace seeds online, I'm sorry. If you think you got any famous old classic, I am really sorry.
ouens will get butt hurt on this one, lots will go to the grave still swinging
Agree. Unless you didnt get it directly from the breeder, you most probably are getting just seeds of whatever's been crossed with Skunk or some old seeds that changed many reseller's hands. Sad state of afairs.

Regarding my above mentioned comment. I refer only to the mainstream seedbanks that ive used. No names mentioned. To the honest seedbanks. Respect and let them be known. They deserve the business.

To be honest, of all the strains grown from our local seedbanks, Barney's Green Crack and Totemic's genetics were the only legit ones. Adding to this is why would i spend almost R2000 on a seedpack that most likely got obtained from a reseller thats getting rid of old stock only to be resold locally as elite genetics at elite price points. I did this. Fuckin twice and got screwed over both times. Maybe i was just unlucky. Maybe i just got robbed. Or both.

The only seeds I'm actually unhappy about are the ones that cost plenty moola. The others were sponsered.
The Charlottes' (Dutch Passion) were purchased from a local RSA distributer which I'd prefer not to name untill they've responded to my emails.
Same vibes here. So we wait.

Cut off the stem above the old roots. Apply rooting hormone and place in water until new roots develop. Transplant when lekker long roots have developed. Keep changing water to avoid fungus attack.

Have you tried contacting them?
If we are talking about B & B. They will not see my business again. After having issues germinating their seeds( 1 out of 6 germinated). After numerous emails, Paul the GM contacted me, requesting me to send him details regarding my germination technique etc. which i did. He even mentioned that he will sort me out. No reply from him to this day. Pathetic.

If you have root rot issues in a solo cup with holes then you are definitely overwatering. I cut 3 corners of the bottoms and only a very light watering once the cup feels light weight. Then transplant as soon as i see roots poking from the drainage holes. No problems.

Clones can be very sensitive when replanted into soil. They are used to the environment that they were cloned from (high humidity dome etc.) The dark green and clawing tells me that the soil is a bit hot. I would suggest water only sparingly and see what happens. The thrips mentioned isn't ideal either. Maybe sprinkle some DM earth over your topsoil as preventative and don't fiddle with the plant too much. I had a similar issue and as soon as i just let her go, she recovered perfectly.

Vrede

I've had that in almost every grow. Didn't lead to complications at all. My guess is that it's a micro nutrient issue. I wouldn't stress too much unless it starts affecting the plant in a big way.
