I want to first see what Conner looks like and talks like at the weigh-in. If I see a spark of back-in-the-day OG Conner, I might have to ride with him.

    Wonderboy 100%

I really don't like Sean O'Malley but he is definitely the better fighter, so my bet is on him to win.

    Yana of course 👌

Meneer Du Plessis to be the first true African born and based UFC MIddleweight champ? Jirre he's got a tough one ahead, and he looks to have the spirit energy so here's hoping he puts on a good show.

An additional match I feel is being overlooked is Ryan Hall at Lightweight. He's a jiu jitsu god and always spectacular to watch.

Connor/Dusin is going to be a war, there is so much pride at stake for both of them. The presser was tense! Aggressive Connor is back, but still favour Dustin. He seems to have grown as an athlete. Cool, calm and calculating.

I'm not familiar of hand with Ryan Hall, I'll watch some vids and read up about him a little later. Thanks for the heads up.

Why don't you like the Suga show? I love that crazy style with constant feints tricking the opponents to move in a predicted fashion. He's go mad power in those bombs he throws.

    The 10ltr pots.

These pots come with these handy drip trays. They are pitched to flow toward the T-piece, which drains to waste. Pretty nifty.

  3. New grow, mostly the same equipment, a few new toys being trialed.

    • 240W QB.
    • Mammoth Pro 100.
    • 1 x 150mm HIT centrifugal fan drawing fresh air from outdoors through a locally manufactured cartridge filter.
    • 1 x 150mm HIT centrifugal fan exhausting outdoors through silencer.
    • 1 x Brand new RAM oscillating fan(if your had these and they burned out, check if the serial No starts with 2020... These are from a faulty batch and your supplier will replace free of charge. Well that's what mine did).
    • Nutes. Using straights for this run.
    • Weekly foliar program which includes a pest management component
    • 10ltr square pots which a close friend has developed.
    • Hanna combo PH and EC meter.
    • Hanna Groline Soil test™ EC Tester.
    • I have free access to our work lux meter, just to see what's actually going on under the QB.
    • Media is also slightly different. Coir/perlite and peat(Latvia and Poland sourced).

So there is clarity from day 1. I don't care about yield! if I get good yield, bonus. More free cannabis products for the people around me.  Like everything in my life, I learn best through failure, analyzing where I have come short, and using that as the basis for improvement. I know this method isn't everyone's cup of tea, and that's fine.

    20 June 2021

Seeds went into straight coir with no soak. They received no special attention, just dumped on the table in our sunroom behind a north facing window. Seedling tray cavities have a 50mm diameter and are about 90mm deep, not sure how big they should get before transplanting. The root development as we progress will determine when they are planted into the 10ltr pots. I only intend keeping four maybe 5 ladies, the rest will be fed to the wood chipper.

    1 July 2021

10 for 10. 2 seedlings had a secondary stem which was removed with a filth dirty pair of trimming scissors(LOL!). Seedling tray was then placed into the tent, they received their first feed and a folia.

What I have failed to mention is the fact that the girls are veged under a 240QB from Light It Up.. Big Up Guys @Light It Up I have noticed that the plants respond well and I am at last a convert..👌👌👍🌱 I'm no indoor boffin but I can already see a massive improvement.. Will most definately get another soon..

Are you changing it up for flowers?

You know how to grow plants.. now you just need to get way more nasty with them 😉 SoG is a mess.. and you have to get your ventilation spot on with the amount of plants.. but you have to push it.

I reached 976g per sq on that SoG grow, 2.34g/watt.. autoflowers. You don't need to train.. very relaxing SoG'ing ^^ with Autos. Just mold danger is very present...

  6. Dried and trimmed.

    • Mother plants outdoors(not weighed) were washed through bags acquired from a certain Western Cape based retail and web store(thank you they work great). Bubble hash will be pressed and the rosin this weekend and gifted to my close circle. It's my first run pressing anything so I'm sure mistakes will be made, but this is how I prefer to learn.
    • The tent yield was weak as expected. The nugs are solid and very pretty(more gifts to those close to me). I was please to note that there is very little larf and even the lower buds are solid. 178g(LOL!) total, of which less than say 5% is larf. This works out to 11.13g per plant, and 1.35g/W. The indoor plants roots impressed me the most, almost zero days worth of vegetative light cycle from clones taken 10 days prior. They were a white mat on the sides and bottom of the bags while still being well distributed through the media.

Final thoughts... The lessons learned will be invaluable for future attempts at this or any growing method. A 240w QB will work in this space, but I feel more light will change the game. It's only my 3rd cannabis grow, and I'm happy to have made it to the end with no pests, deficiencies or toxicity issues. Did have a little overwatering, but picked up on that real quick.

Last two pics I with no editing.

These are f2's of a variety called Zain, from Gage Green Genetics. Its a cross between their ghost og/ad hoc and a male Malawi, from Cannabiogen (Ace Seeds). I threw away 2 males already and am still waiting for pre-flowers to show on the other 2 plants.large.IMG_20210616_180053.jpg.26f2958b3c1d5066f3311b9498ae5d9f.jpglarge.IMG_20210616_180114.jpg.2282feac046e0690929c37e140da5a8a.jpg

Its high in phosphate, along with amino  and humic acids. I can't work out if it means 1-2 g per litre , or 0.5 g per litre? I will give it a go with the next round of clones and compare it against the kelpak and aminomix that I use now.large.IMG_20210616_180139.jpg.6c359063bfaba75b688b69148a3b26ad.jpg

Izzy looks like he learnt a lot from his fight with Jan. If Marvin had like just +1 to jiu jitsu fundamentals he could have gotten that rear naked choke. Instead of Marvin digging his heels into Izzy's thighs to prevent Izzy from twisting in the guard, he instead crossed his ankles which is a no-no.

The difference between Moreno's choke and Marvin's choke is the difference between a champion and not. Moreno was textbook stuff.

    Spot on!

Nate Diaz was such a clown but what a good show he put on. Nearly getting the knockout in the last round..

Leon Edwards dominated that fight. Would have been shocking to see him lose in the last round like that. I wonder how long Nate will continue to fight? Every time he steps into the cage he bleeds like that.

Izzy was lucky Marvin couldn't keep him on the ground, Jan smashed him on the ground in that last fight.

  13. It's true, I did call this person "a know it all aggressive cunt" right after he called me a "dense fuck" in an exchange we had at the end of April 2021. I've done my best to steer clear of his mushroom topic and pretty much every bit of information he gives because of that exchange. If further information pertaining to that exchange is needed we can discuss this with the greatest pleasure. I will happily play open cards, I don't feel it's necessary though as it's unrelated, and not even about cannabis.

My information source for this grow all came from Greg Greens Cannabis grow Bible 3rd edition. The sole purpose of this was to get away from the nets plethora of conflicting views and opinions, and have a single reputed source as guidance. The Bible is very comprehensive and as a 3rd edition one would think the information is legit. After all, the author has put himself on the line by publishing hard copy content years before legalization. I understand there is a fourth edition, but it was not available in South Africa when I was looking for a book.

Page 305 discusses SOG(sea of green)

"A SOG can be any size but must maintain the same basic shape and follow certain SOG rules. In SOG grows you want to have one plant per square foot maximum, or even one plant per 0.1 square feet in a very compact set ups..." Please see below, I don't want to type the whole paragraph out.

    image.png.75bba91086c1bafecd3e72a43ca1824e.png

My grow was 1m² floor space(10.73ft²) with 16 plants which fits the above parameters outlined in the text. I am aware that more plants would have given more yield, but yield was never priority. The objective was to use a different style of grow and test my ability to propagate healthy young plants in the same fashion as a commercial grow(see my post on 22 April). I don't believe a SOG has been documented to this extent on the forum. If you can find one, please post a link.

This person has manipulated and omitted facts of what went on in the dm's of 29th April in an attempt to take the moral high ground. He has displayed the classic narcissistic behavior traits, and then enforced the fact with his continued posting on this thread(last post, LOL!), as well as the thread about hardening off clones. I hope you are all seeing what's being hidden behind this persons mask. Incase you are not aware of what an NPD is about, here's a little google copy pasta, and a link for further reading.

Narcissistic personality disorder involves a pattern of self-centered, arrogant thinking and behavior, a lack of empathy and consideration for other people, and an excessive need for admiration. Others often describe people with NPD as cocky, manipulative, selfish, patronizing, and demanding.

Thanks to those of you who followed my grow and gave input along the way. Not the ending I was hoping for, but I think there is value in what has gone down, even if its only NPD awareness.  Plants were harvested last night, Dry bud shots and the final trimmed yield will be shared when the time comes. Now I'm going to smoke a fat Slurricane bat, and run 21km in the dark. Till the next grow, peas.

    @GGG

what's up brother, hope all is well your side

I believe the most important part of taking clones is the health of the mother plant aswell as where you take the cuts from the plant. with these two points, hardening off is out of the question.

IMO, regarding your question, best thing for hardening off once rooted is to not pamper them like babies.

my method is, pour a cup of RO water,

take my cuts and take off any leaves and branches that would be taken off anyway. this exposes pathways for the plant to uptake water quicker than straight through the branch. just leave two fan leaves at top and one axillary bud atleast if not the apical meristem. once cutting is clean, cut a new fresh cut at base and make sure you cut through another axillary bud or 1mm below.

as soon as fresh cut is made drop in RO water,

let sit for 12hrs, this is harding off,

then you got 12hrs to prep what you gona put them in. I prefer rockwool, soaked in RO aswell.

after 12hrs I simply take the cuts and carefully slide them in their individual cubes and place them in my humidity dome. 99% rh and completely closed for atleast 24hrs. sometimes I like to let my whole dome sit in some water for the first 24hrs. then I start to gradually take the water away, slightly opening my dome little by little every day letting RH out. by day 7 you should be at 50% RH (everyday you should lift the dome atleast once for complete FAE and get rid of the water that has collected at the bottom and spray the dome with new fresh water)

remember, the plant has no immune system and can't fend for itself for shit, so first sign of mold or any of that shit can hinder the rest of that plants life. there are wounds the pathogens and bacteria can enter, so keep it RO water. your plant doesn't need ANY form of nutrient during this time.

day 6/7 you should have roots. when I see a root, I plant straight into ff premium classic and they go into my tent and I treat them like normal plants.

no wasted time, money or effort.

    95 - 100% success, no products used.

Lets reread you opinion to see how badly you understood the question....

OP asks about hardening off rooted clones.

You go off sharing some drivel about taking cuttings and and and, completely missing the point. Learn from this guy. He even reads your questions correctly.

    Thanks for the chat.

so if I put a few plants in a tent that's now a sea of green?

you didn't even use the space. you might aswell have grown that amount in a warehouse facility, would you still call it sea of green?

don't try hide behind your silly question, what's important here is....

    FACT, you could've done better.

    lol

you tried your best at creating a sea of green, but you just grew a few plants in a tent.

Christ, how the fuck do you live with such a revoltingly toxic ego. Eeeeew.

oh so now you are giving a method he can use?

well then I would say that is a shit method and wouldn't suggest that to anyone.

if it where an example, like you stated in the very post I could understand, but now you say he must just go yank off the lid?

please don't advise that to anyone,

the concept of acclimatize is much broader than just "taking the lid off"

LOL! You're adorable. That was in the post from the word go. Honestly I think you missed what the OP was actually asking.
