  1. Let's not Jack another thread and start something here too... You know I'm dying here
  2. Okes got to prove himself first I dont just stalk anyone, well not straight away at least Very true brother man
  3. @DamDave Please tag a brother, keen to follow along
  4. Jissy, my man Was about to say to the previous comment, Pictures or it never happened??? And then joke and say a video log /report... Then you absolutely went and killed it and owned the hell out of this thread with this comment
  5. In the posters case, 2x batteries as its 24v Fortunately have that load and discharge protection, helped once when I had 2x batteries. Brother, with your skills, you can make these and sell them
  6. Shot @Ill_Evan, As I said post comment, I realised the mistake, but was to tired to edit the post and just said "oh well" I remember the carrot yes Must look into those though, but enjoy my time with the girls in the morning
  7. We just passed the Winter solstice was 20 June, so the days get longer going forward now, Would imagine you want to plant as close to the Summer Solstice, December 21 as possible. You get 14 hours light on 21 Dec, so that would make it only 10 hours darkness if I'm correct, and anything between 12 and 10 hours dark is enough time to produce the flowering hormones to start flowering or make trouble. Confirming what @Fridgedoor said, And can be greatly effected by shade or walls blocking some of that sun from being all 14 hours being strong enough light.
  8. Hey brother, I think he grows Hydroponics and that is why he makes reference to the Res, that is where they have the water, and pump it around to the tubs or bucket. Auto watering is cool, you can hook it up to a timer and even get fancy and add a water content sensor of sorts, that when it finds the soil dry enough, it waters. They are great and my next step in the journey.
  9. Exactly right, our sister here has also got what looks like soggy medium, and that does look like they are locked from being water logged. That explains the new growth being bad, as it cant feed through the roots as they are drowning. Heavy C shape curve leaves means they are water logged too
  10. Apologies if I was a little blunt there, We all had the learning experience you going through, and you'll soon be on your way forward with great success. We are always here for you
  11. I had seen that what looked like a FIMing Plant looks happy other than the old growth being eaten as it needs that nutrients for the new growth I guess and take that as a sign that the roots are not able to do their job from an imbalanced soil pH or watering?
  12. Made this mistake too, When the girl looked happy, I thought great water issue okay now, time to water it... Stop, pause, wait. Give it time to dry out brother
  13. Water it as I said, on Friday again. With water and Calcium Nitrate, maybe some N Nothing else, and wait for Friday again. You could wait for Saturday or Sunday now to really get the medium dry properly and then 1 time a week is good, when it get more, around 2 days, you know your pot is getting too small.
  14. Biggest new grower mistake, I too made this mistake myself, so I know all too well... Is over loving your plant to death with water.
  15. Um, it seem okay the amount you added, I very rarely use it anymore and when I did it was about 1ts per 5L or slightly more if I saw it needed it. But, you say mixing feed now, and that medium still looks plenty wet, from here, and you could also be facing those issues from the medium being to wet and locking the roots from taking up nutrients.
  16. Hey, To me it appears to be pH issues, though we can get others opinions too just for confirmation.
  17. Bro, to me that's Calcium deficiency. Get some Calcium Nitrate, not the CalMag.
  18. I love info, hungry for it lol Please elaborate
  19. Sounded like you wanted to warm the room, if you have a dome and tray, and that under, its exactly right for you. But not if it's not against something, it wont be hot enough. You also get a thermostat for those to not go over a temperature or you can burn roots
  20. Price I got charged in Dec, Ups/inverter = R3500 +_ Batteries x2 = R3100 Then a month later bought another 2 batteries to be really sure. Extra 2x B = R3400 My mother is waiting for their quote they got before lockdown, to come down again, as kak got bad with heavy imports now, waiting for email reply and can update when I know more.
  21. I dont see that doing much, even to warm more than seedlings, Also dont want to discourage you Maybe some one else has better news or advice, I never use heat other than on seedlings till they get potted.
  22. Check that model on Google and specs tonight before I ask him, you might not like it, or prefer something else. It's like 85 to 90% efficient there around from 2015 but you'll pay for newer models.
