  1. Always a pleasure [emoji1362] Yeah give it some thought man, don't rush the decision... I thought of this while trying to figure out a solution; Renting a space for the sole purpose of having it as a grow space would be in a grey area with the new cannabis bill as the bill only states limits based on the number of individuals residing on the premises. No one would be staying at your new grow space, it could be used against you in legal terms. ......... Its just another risk IMO... Any thoughts on that part guys? I'm really not sure about it. I've also heard of this club that grows your seeds for you at a fee every month until the product is shipped out to you... I can't remember what it's called exactly, but they don't sell weed - they simply charge for the service of growing your trees with everything in pre and post harvest taken care of. If it sounds more viable to you, maybe do some searching on it. I really wouldn't want to run my personal grow away from me, but if I had to, I'd rather have it at a facility than a rented space. 2. 420sa put it on hold due to delayed results one of the months. It went over into entries for another month, as well as the Cannabist sponsor issue, which led to some unforseen issues. If I'm not mistaken, I think it stopped for just 1 month, and should be continuing this month... Just waiting on @420SA to get back to everyone with what's up. I'm sure they'd appreciate the sponsor bro! Mad Respect. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  3. What's up brother man... Okay, here are my responses; 1) Digital timers bro... Set it and forget it. Whenever the power trips, it will be for 2 hours at a time. The backup battery in the timer will last 24hrs in order to keep the timings. The only time this could cause a real problem is if you're growing photos and the 2 hours of shedding is at the end and beginning of the light cycle - essentially shortening 18 hours to 14 hours of light. Some Sativa strains flower with a bit more than 12 hours of light so I would be careful about what strains I select for this process if you go through with it. Whatever you want to turn on or off every day, use a timer so you don't have to be there all the time. When I experience load shedding, I do nothing bro - mainly because I can't do anything... I just let my trees sit in the dark in their environments until the lights come back on. My extraction and everything shuts off. I don't think load shedding is going to cause you much issues, just slightly smaller yield if its severely affecting your light hours. ........... 2) I think the plan is a bit much because of renting a new space, but I do understand, if you can't grow at home - sometimes it's just simple as that. This does mean, however, the landlord now knows where your grow is going to be... And that's kinda sensitive info. So taking that into consideration, I say your plan is viable. It would just be slightly more stressful because your plants and equipment will be on someone else's property and you won't be there all the time. I wouldn't advise you to start buying again either, it's way too expensive bro. A plan can be made, don't lose hope. Home grown indoor is amazing if you do it right, dry slowly, and cure for 3 weeks minimum... Its better than anything I've bought and cost me a fraction per gram compared to street prices. .................. The idea of running your grow at someone else's place isn't bad at all, I would be interested in helping you out honestly - to the best of my ability. We can talk more in the PMs about that though if you want. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  4. Gold [emoji1362] If you know how to treat your medium, you shouldn't experience any issues. For instance, a new Grower may want to monitor everything, and be comfortable choosing coco and watering every day - but another new Grower may not be able to water every day... It's just 1 example but I'm sure people can understand the gist of what I'm trying to say. If the person takes the time to learn about what they want to use, any medium is beginner friendly... With the exception of hydroponics being a bit more advanced I feel. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  5. All in all, even though coco will teach you exactly what's going into your plant, etc... IMO soil is more beginner friendly and far more forgiving if you forget something or get something slightly off - I'll always suggest it to newbies. There are a number of reasons for this but I'm typing this on my phone with the few minutes I have, lol. Just wanted to drop in my 2c. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  6. I bought some purple Queen from them a few weeks back... Can't wait to pop those beans! Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  7. No problem man... Yeah I get you... A lot of people ordered and had effortless experiences in getting their seeds and stuff, but once Cannabist started falling behind and not responding to customers, it was game over. I, myself, had a delayed order with Cannabist when I recieved my prize for SOTM on 420sa, it took a couple weeks to get to me when people have been saying that Cannabist used to deliver in a few days - after I got my stuff, the complaints started rolling in about customers not receiving orders at all, or really late... I guess I had to get my stuff because it was a sponsored prize. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  8. Broooo.... Man, disappointing much. Anyway, I hope you get to grow again some time in the future... For reference on your next grow, run your light cycle during the night if you're struggling with high temps. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  9. Hey man... Well, to sum it up; There was a backlog of orders when Lockdown started, and a severe lack of customer service didn't help the situation any bit. Cannabist ultimately stopped replying everyone that's ordered before or placed a new order, with some of the older orders taking 2 months to reach their destination - if they did at all. 10. Very nice... Haven't heard of it but definitely keen on the next one now that I know. Would be interested in cooperating with the organisers as well. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  11. Welcome bro, amped to see what you're working with [emoji1303] Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  12. Nice one bro, good job [emoji1303] Are they feminized or regular? Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  13. Yeah I'm not too bummed about it, I'm just disappointed it wasn't more because I got at least another 8 weeks before I can smoke my next harvest Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  14. And the journey begins... Happy growing! Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  15. Lmao, yeah bro.... I don't think this strain is a heavy yielder though Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  16. just might build another grow box

    1. Ill_Evan

      Ill_Evan

      You mad scientist.

  17. I agree, still too young - I'd giver her at least 2 weeks. Some better closeups would help also.
  18. hey man, sorry for the late reply... i am going to try it, just not now... my tree ended up topping herself and threw my training plan out the tent so I'm trying to figure out what i want to do
  19. So this little tree... I gave her the first topping when she needed it, and let her grow out a bit. One side grew fine but the other just split into 2 by itself. I let her grow out untouched because I just was being a bit lazy and I decided that I wanted more colas this run, not just a nice mainline. Here's what she looks like right now; The cure will be done in about 5 days so I'll get some nice bud shots for you guys then.
  20. Yooooo Guys, life happened, been really busy lately and haven't updated anything. Anyway, I weighed all the dry buds in, came in at 125g total. A bit disappointed but I know what happened. Got something else in the tent (another Inzane) Will update now with a short story and some pics. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  21. The scaffolding helped a lot, but it was much more tedious to get right honestly... And the colas didn't really support themselves like they did with my nebula mainline because the scaffolding base created a much smaller square in which the training took place as compared to the stakes in the ground Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  22. Lovely stuff [emoji1362] they veg like crazy with the toppings, and I know exactly what you mean - my trees rip all the training stakes out of the ground, I reposition them every week. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  23. Nice progress... Just wanted to add, that ufo light can be much, much closer to your trees in flower. I had my ufo literally less that 20cm above the tops in my microgrow and never burnt anything. So try to find a sweet spot with height and coverage. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  24. Aweeeee, nice one. Super helpful customer service and speedy deliveries as well [emoji1362] Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  25. Waddup bro.. Okay, I'm sure everyone has a lot of advice for you, but first let's work on what you need to know. For 6 weeks, I would say that's just below average size for an untrained tree... Could've been bigger with more light, don't beat yourself up over it, other things make a difference as well. As to whether they're female, take pics of the to-be bud site, not where the fan leaf meets the main stem... We need to look for pistils or sacs at this point, not really preflowers - since they're 6 weeks old, they're most likely mature already. If those were mine, I would consider topping them once, using some LST, then veg for another week or slightly more and initiate flowering after that. Reason being to control height and get more than 3 main colas from 3 trees. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
