  1. Yip, hot dry winds can kill plants leaves, literally suck the marrow out of them. All the challenges we growers face. Overgrow Gaia system. You just reminded me to go get my girls out the wind, its literally blowing their knickers off. PS dont forget it could be a combination of factors. The hot dry winds could be causing issues with CO2 intake etc.
  2. I still have nightmares about a confrontation I had with a black mamba while learning to drive by myself in sugar cane fields on the Natal north coast. The mamba lifted up from the right fender and tried going for me through the windscreen. Have a huge amount of snakes around me, shame girlfriend almost stepped on a puffy this week while tending the goats. As long as they not around my animals I have no problem with them and always try and relocate snakes. Out dangerous snakes in EC are cape cobra, rinkhals and puffy. Below are a couple other entries I would like to enter to this months POTM.
  3. @Krieg That is a terrible story to hear. Also met a guy who was imprisoned for 5 years about 3 days after the judgement. Good news is he will only be in for a couple more months then he is out. Got a good deal for you cause I see your plants like you. Check your pm.
  4. @420sake and that is the problem 420sake. I sat with someone yesterday who is involved with chinese investors looking at licensing. The investors are looking at the western cape as its the easiest. They are importing all the machinery from the far east, including alot of the labour force. They could not invest in the eastern cape due to bureaucracy and they did not want to invest in Natal cause its run by a consortium of ex rugby players. I dont know how true all of this is, but as far as I am concerned the guy does know what he is talking about. I really just hope they let people grow at home, no tax, no license. Biggest problem is most governments see the tax dollars, and the ANC needs money, and generally does not have a clue what they are doing.
  5. Bloody good idea. Start taking clones, you have loads of material at the bottom of your plants and the flowers or balls should be showing by now. Even consider making some of your own seeds. Good luck and look forward to seeing your growth.
  6. Just a matter of interest before your comments. Go in with a good attitude and ask if you could get a refund or replacement rather than having skinner sisters slander online. That is terrible bud. My 2 cents.
  7. hi Krieg Welcome to 420SA. Lovely garden you have there. Can definetly vouch for biltong and budz genetics. You should see what the have on offer at the mo, limited genetics from Jungle Boys. The owner is a legend. He reminded me that we had met once before, I did not remember, but the oke is a meneer when I clicked on to the fact that we had met late one night in a pub. Genuine. Anyway hope to see more of those lovely strains you have going.
  8. I cant remember the name of this grinder brand, Alupipe or something. Its about 8cm wide, perfect for home use. I gifted it to myself about 14 years ago. I will never look back. It stays on my desk, and near my "weed" box, its not allowed moving too far. I swear it cuts up weed better than anything. The teeth are still sharp and it really has been a blessing, never lets you down. Sorry it does need a clean, but looking forward to the hash I get when I clean it.
  9. "As happy as a pig in shit. " Digger the pig. Thought you might like to see the video. Absolute bliss.
  10. That is a swell idea. What is so nice about that area is almost no maintenance required. Pop a bean at grows. Perfect climate. I really do miss the midlands. Found a little spot here that as you walk into the valley, the vegetation changes and climate changes, and reminds of Natal. Good luck and pop those beans.
  11. @Bakstein420 No not mine, a picture by reeferman in colombia looking at choosing the best males and female of Pink Kush. All within boundaries of linking!!

So this black poison from GSR will be my entry to the 112th Bathurst Agricultural Show. Its already the 2nd plant entered and many many more potentials. Serious judges and serious prizes. 16. Ahh not really, and totally worth it. Get goats, that is alot of hard work, especially when people have trained them as house pets. Luckily its all coming together and they have found their place. Love turning compost, when I get the energy or want to let off steam. Cheers.
  17. Naaaice prizes. I am going to enter. Just thinking of a good winner picture to take.
  18. @CreX Totally homemade. Generally no external resources, all locally claimed stuff. I make compost throughout the year and use a variety of manures from the farm and neighbours. External resources are epsom salts from a friends mine, I will be buying molasses soon and collecting kelp from the beach to make a tea. Go as far as chopping my own wood and using the ash for the soil too.
  19. I must say you did inspire me. But I sold all my indoor equipment long ago. Oh I lie, I still have two custom boxes for drying biltong and vegging clones. My days of tinkering are long over sadly. But I am subbed to your post and would like to see your development.
  20. until

Full steam ahead. Cannabis has its own category at this years agricultural show. It will be under "fresh farm produce" and ironically "Pot Plants". Anyone is welcome to enter their plant and I can assure you the prizes will be epic. Any businesses that would like to attend please contact me directly as I am the organizer for this event. Still finalizing pricing and a few small details. But had the "big yes" from the Agricultural Society and Director of the Bathurst Showgrounds.
  21. Good content and nice articles. For anyone who is interested juicing cannabis is brilliant for the body. Dr Ben Dlamini taught me this many moons ago. The eSwatini activist swears that steeping one leaf in hot water is what kept him so healthy in life. It is delicious, earthy and refreshing. My chicken loves adding weed leaves to smoothies. Always delicious smoothies, mix with whatever fruit, veggies we have. Something that is fairly hard to find is shelled hemp seeds, but when you do, you wonder why its not a staple meal. You can throw these seeds on anything, in anything or just eat raw. Actually was chatting to a man close to me just the other day, talking about cannabis and looking at his plants. Quickly whipped up some hemp milk for him from hulled hemp seeds. Just add water, blend. Viola. Did you know cannabis seeds are the most nutritious seed in the world? It beats flax by miles.
  22. Abis Inc is deep in the thick of cannabis edibles, a huge variety of quality products. i gave most of mine to a medical patient who really enjoyed them and helped. They have candies, tinctures, lollipops, teas et al. They also very cool people. Actually sang to the owner the other day. And I dont sing. Abis Inc also works with many other well known, reputable bakers and makers. PS they are not a customer of mine, just supported these people since they were trolled online by some sick cannabis community members.
  23. @Mr_Nice_Guy Well bloody done man. I got as far as "Pics 1&2 before I cleaned, sterilized, painted ". Never went further. But it is a perfect grow cabinet. I have seen guys do vegging, flowering and cloning in a cab like that. Look at doing short flowering plants and you will be amazed how much goodness you can squeeze into that cab.
  24. Was planning to get in contact with him again. He really is one of the best breeders in the world, love his strains and ethos. Do you remember Africanna the strain?
