High Just loading this event now and would love some feedback, interested parties, people to get it together. The Bathurst ShowGrounds have offered a place for cannabis companies to offer their goods directly to market during the weekend of the 3-5 April 2020. This year will be the 113th Agricultural Show with loads of events, auctions, displays etc. Last years show was a huge success for cannabis and it managed to win the minds and hearts of the organizers, The Agricultural Society. It was featured in news, radio, farmers weekly, and even in the SAHPRA proposal. For cannabis companies Hopefully if I can find a little more time, it will have a place for bongs and bags of weed but for now this is an event targeted at farmers. This year will be bigger than most due to other events happening throughout the year. Thousands of farmers attend from around the country. Next door is the largest Agricultural Museum in South Africa. Bathurst is a cute and quaint village, with lots of good accommodation. It is situated right between East London and Port Elizabeth, 16km from beautiful beaches. Cannabispromoter.com will be arranging the cannabis vendors and I am game to discuss anyone who is interested. Just remember this is a conservative cannabis event and focused on farming. So any interest from seedbanks, soil companies, grow shops, lighting companies, clothing, hemp, and medical. You are welcome to post here, DM me, email me. I should have everything in order once the Show Grounds have opened up for this years business. Lets make it a banger
  3. If you ever want to speak with someone who is involved with patients and meds. Please contact ABIS Inc. They are supportive, make quality products and have a wealth of knowledge and a support system. A mate recently dropped off all meds for his serious back issues and is only on cannabis. We finally managed to work out he needs good strong THC to help him sleep and back pain. Finally found the recipe for him. We have over the past two years gone through all the cannabis products available, CBD, sprays, tinctures, tablets. His doctor prescribed opioid based medicine. That was an absolute disaster for him, flashbacks. It took him about 2 months to clear his mind. Bottomline is a high THC joint and canna coconut mix works for him best. He is able to sleep. I think it take alot of deep soul searching, effort and finding the riht recipe for you. Good luck @Totemic hope you find something that works and helps your quality of life. Dont forget, there is an active cannabis community that will assist you.
  4. Scroll up bud the advert/banner is being displayed all the all time for COR. I have spoken to the owner many moons ago, personally not interested in selling product. They definitely not registered with SAHPRA. Amazing how tactfulness can move you forward in life, but be so careful of the weirdo's and witchhunters, they drag you to the depth of hell.
  5. you gotta say it is ballsy, and we need people like this. They just openly doing business and advertising. Its almost identical to cannapax, which the majority of hipsters hated. Just trying to compare now that I know more and would love input. How come everyone is cool with COR, but hated the guts of Cannapax? Its facinating. Its similar to people wishing him ( Russell ) jail time. I mean I was in the firing line with alot of the hipsters and haters, some of their comments were disgusting, childish and irrelevant. And then they turned on me, not like that has not happened before. Shame there was almost a witchhunt amongst the cannabis community to get Russel to speak for himself, i dont think he was very sharp, but hats off to him and hope he is well. I am sure we will hear of him again. He was the ballsiest yet. These COR are clever and in with the right crowd it seems.
  6. Here is Bushy's new works, part of Blakka Yut 'n Yut. He is young and brilliant, a born entertainer and musician. This was an event i did to promote them at Barefoot Care ( irie place, great food and owners ) in Port Alfred around May. Bushy on keyboards and Blakka on bass and vocals.
  7. Ahhh yes sir. We used to sit in the Digital Dungeon ( recording studio ) in yeoville with elder Trevor making this music, smoking dope, being irie. Awesome times. Bushy is an amazing artist, he does it all himself and a muscian second to none, its his life and blood. I have a track recorded when he started playing on piano for the first time in years while he stayed with me. It was a terrible time for both of us. He was too sick to even walk, the piano was out of tune, it was hot and dry. I quietly put my phone near the pioano and recorded him. Going to find it now. It makes me get goose bumps.
  8. @The Canna Cart Glad you enjoyed. This is his late wife, Sista Ites. She is a legend.
  9. Just bumped into a franchise owner of cannabisoilresearch.com ( COR ) . Had a brief discussion before they tucked into a delicious organic steak. I never realised COR was selling THC in their products. This franchisee is on holiday it was not too sure wether to bring her sample products like jello shots due to the laws etc. I think she was a little clueless as to the legalities. Now, just to debate and understand, what is the difference between COR and Cannapax? They both claim medical, one had retail shops and the other has franchisee holders who run from home. Has anyone had a jello shot of thiers? Is it lab tested, do you get a certificate. I mean what is really interesting is that this lady was uncertain of her product, she could have made a killing in Kenton selling medical grade jello shots with THC, medicinal or recreational?
  10. You in the thousands of hills. That was my home to at one stage in life. I agree about the education and legislation part. Its about normlizing weed. Have a kiff idea for you bru, especially since you like growing. And you can run with it.
  11. Ok now I am laughing, Dana is a legend. "Irvin Dana Beal, 70, of New York, was arrested Saturday in far Northern California after prosecutors said his rental car was spotted weaving across the road and driving 20 miles below the speed limit." Article
  12. Awesome of you. You can help in WC. I am based in EC. NORML has always assisted with the Global Marijuana March. Just not to sure who is doing it yet? I can and will find out or possibly you could lead it. I warn you its task of note. Also depending on your interests, options and resources. There are many ways. Drop me a mail and we talk further. Thank you for offering, its hugely needed. Lol, I once smoked a joint with Dana Beal in a drug rehab centre. He is known as an original yippie and is the founder of the Global Marijuana March. He wears cowboy boots outside his jeans. And just looks entertaining. Anyway just after I met him he was arressted and prosecuted for transporting large quanties of MJ in the USA.
  13. @Mambawana Not really happy, you can see and feel it. Its lacking attention. It will be more than enough to flower in, once I have topped it. GSR only had good experience with them. Had one of my best smokes from them, sour gelato. A mate grew it in hydro though, under some bomb lights, from growguru. They actually had a few problems with the seeds, but it was the way they were germinating. I think they do alot of genetics themselves, but also resell alot. They have facilities in the states that do some of the breeding work for them. I have mentioned that to them.
  14. @CreX yes, when they flower, just have a look, but will make a molasses tea, compost tea, and add a whole bunch of other things. I will try and remember to post them here. Probably going to top this plant at some stage too. It definitely needs a big clean up, its actually looking sad.
  15. That sounds about right. Yeah I dont know what my problem is. @420sake No sorries bro, glad you finding more ways. Look I run on cannabis. I eat it almost everyday, smoothies, capsules, hemp seeds, body products etc.... but I just found I am smoking far less. I used to smoke more than 20 joints a day. I hate vapes, I have given all of them away to friends and people that need them. I cant stand bongs, given most of those away too. Not really keen on dabs, but have a rig thanks to DC and Highco. I will keep that one forever.
  16. No sweat guys, we are south africans and hijacking is part of our culture!!! Yes NORML was functional, most guys moved over to DaggaCouple to help them assist in everything they needed, and developed it into FOGFA, HighAlert and growing cannabis in Lesotho. And damn good of them. Its been on ice for a couple years and just got it up and running again since getting back into cannabis. I am NORML, there is no one else on board at the moment. I am looking for people to help, cause I am working on a couple of projects: 1. Agricultural Show - 3 months time. 2. Release of Roelf van Rooyen, actually signed his presidential pardon today about 3pm on a dusty road with parol officers. 3. African genetics project ( worldwide ) So I guess I need all the help I can get.
  17. @Bakstein420 A guy did get his weed back in Western Cape after getting his weed confiscated. But dealing with SAPS, you inviting a whole bunch of trouble,if they actually do anything. 1312
  18. @Nostrovia That is kak. Be careful of who you speak to and share with. Some of the "nicest people" will rip people.
  19. Been smoking a fair amount of weed since I started. I used to to smoke a joint and go sit at a bus stop and sit on a "high street" and watch people walk up and down. Love behavior, body language of people, especially when goofed. Something I have observed about myself in the past year is that I am smoking far less weed. My harvest last year was not great, but I do have access but somehow these days i can hang onto the weed rather than just smoke every gram. Point I am getting to is I think since being made "legal", I am smoking less. Anyone else experience this in themselves?
  20. This black poison from GSR has been going for a couple months. Not in flower yet, but about to switch any day. I made a self-watering system for a clients project, two 25l buckets in each eachother, the top one with a netted pot inserted at the bottom to collect the water from the bottom bucket. And a piece of pvc to water through, but its easy enough just to lift the pot out and pour the water in that is needed. Soil 100% organic. Compoost, potting soil, epsom salts, use a number of homemade teas ( dandelion, weed, eggs shells etc ) . No external sources of nutes except the epsoms which comes directly from the mine. I will be buying mollasses soon, always love the flavour. Water Aerated rain water only. Mulch Always mulch with dried, aged donkey manure. Holds water nicely, prevents evaporation and leaches nutrients down. Growth from 24th Nov Growth 4th Dec Sadly we are going through a heavy drought and food is scarce. My leaves are being eaten by either my dogs or chickens. They are welcome. Need to give this plant a bit of a prune and cleanup, take some clones for a last wack at a quick harvest before winter. Sorry not a great picture. But here is the growth for the past month. Happy Growing.
  21. Its been a magic year in South Africa, and precisely that. It was a very quick article to show that we can normlalize cannabis and how it is becoming normlised. You have not seen anything yet, this years 113th Agri Show is going to be epic. Eventhough they gave me a little bit of hell last year, made me sign addendums, I pushed it as hard as possible. And it was a huge success for the show and entertainment. They have offered me space at this years show so that cannabis companies can directly market their products to farmers. Plus this years upcoming show is 200th year "celebration" of settlers arriving in SA, so it should be a banger, as long as EFF does not get wind and burn everything down. 2020 Agri Show I am pushing for a cannabis category, hoping all the wankers that dissed the plants last year put their money where their mouth is. I have a black poison from GreensmokeRoom I am entering, its going to be a whopper. One local guy said he would need to get a crane to enter the plant he will grow. Entries for each plant are less than R20 and they will be judged by qualified horticulturists for structure, aroma etc. Unfortunately " No Smoking", but there will be a smoke free zone! Yes all these cups have to be careful, it is not legal and in reality people are being arrested every day in SA, beaten abused by SAPS. So the more we do, the more we normalize and continue the fight the better for everyone.
  22. NORML South Africa was established in 2008 and has been active in the growing cannabis culture scene. Over the past year, NORML has hosted activism events in conjunction with other cannabis organisations and still supports the Dagga Party of South Africa, a registered pro-cannabis political party. Cannabis Law On the 18th of September 2018, Judge Dennis Davis passed a landmark ruling in the Cape Town High Court that cannabis essentially be decriminalized for private adult use. Although there are no defined limitations to this progressive ruling, a lot of arrests have still been taking place. Fields of Green For All in South Africa is an activist group that has been fighting the laws for several years and they support people through their organisation that have been either charged or arrested for possession of cannabis. They are still dealing with daily calls and emails from victims who have been arrested. Full Article
  23. We having such heavy winds lately I think my trichomes are just floating with the wind. No I dont think I will ever mission to wash my buds. I have water cured before, once. Interesting topic though.
  24. @MissMayhem Buy some awesome new bags made by fullmeltfiltration.co.za. Instead of using frozen sky juice use dry ice. That is your best way to get most yield. Safest cheapest and best. Unless you have thousands to spend. Butane is for cowboys.Look at using the hash in a rosin press there after. Healthiest and safest.
  25. I am certain its legal here in SA. It might be classifed as an invasive, there is a very similar plant in my garden, beautiful purple flowers to, just has hairy leaves. I am sure it is not indigenous and considered invasive, so divine sage will would fall under that. Legally, I think it is banned in a couple countries or states in america. @CreX So to the guys who rate Cannapax is illegal dont you dare consider planting it in your garden, wait till government passes laws to make it legal. Just a sick joke, spread it far and wide.
