  1. Tell me about the humidifier you got going there. Is your humidity that bad that you need it?
  2. Proving my point exactly. There are idiots out there doing all sorts of weird chemicals.
  3. You cant say that dude. How do you know that someone isnt dabbing limonene. This is a messed up world. People smoke heroin and HIV meds. Drink spirits, sniff glue. I bet at least one idiot is trying to dab some right now.
  4. Week 7 LST on the female And the male is pushing on
  5. Restricting the roots somewhat to allow a dense even root ball is the idea. If the roots are circling the base already they are already suffering a bit. These plants are resiliant though and bounce back fast. Severe root restrictions such as keeping them in seed trays with less than 100ml of medium is completely stunting the plant and hampering its potential.
  6. At 5 weeks they should be in at least a litre but 2 would be better of medium. They should be pushing their 5th or 6th node. The fan leaves should be almost the size of your hand. They should be about ruler height and a pencil girth stem. Soil rule to follow. 1l of soil for every week you intend keeping the plant alive. Plant them out. It really should have happened the first I suggested it 2 weeks ago. Just a few pointers. In the beginning people dont realise just how fast these suckers can and do grow. The first 3 weeks of a cannabis plants life are extremely important as the plant decides how it is going to express itself under the conditions it finds itself in. Important genetic decisions including links to the sex and a long list that effect the phenotype. Deciding factors are environmental...the medium they are in, how much water they being exposed to, how much light, humidity, soil ph.....and on and on, and early stunting almost always shows up later in flowering with unexpected poor result ime. These here are at 6 weeks and only just getting ready to really explode into veg. They didnt start out in a sheltered environment or indoors but exposed from day 1 because they can handle it. They are genetically built to do it. I need my outdoor plants to tackle the season with the best expression to flourish.
  7. Im going to have to try this.
  8. Week 6 This is a confirmed male. Pushing balls on the 6th node already. Hoping this one is female.
  9. With clones youll hit that target but not with seeds. Why not run an 18/12 and flip in 6 weeks. Youd be done by end Dec to mid Jan.

    Aphids

Aphids arent really an indoor problem. Spider mites are the most common, and there is really nothing more effective than pyrol. It should be included in your growing routine during veg with at least a spray before flipping. I dont count on them not being there and I certainly am not going to spend hours checking the plants for almost microscopic bugs. Prevention is better than a cure. Once you are in flowering and you suddenly have a mite problem of epic proportions that you can do nothing about. Perhaps other indoor growers have a thing or two to share.

    Aphids

I found out quite by accident myself. I also rarely saw lady bugs until I left a celery plant to go to seed. Check out what I posted. And Ive had lady bugs in my garden since. As many of them go into hybernation somewhere close when winter comes. https://www.420sa.co.za/index.php/topic,277.msg1600.html#msg1600

    Aphids

The best thing ive found to work for aphids and most pest critters that like Cannabis are lady bugs. I allow them to breed in my garden every year in their thousands and never have issues. They love breeding on the flowering stalks of celery and parsley.
  13. Look up bobby greenhash from the BGF. He will be able to provide everything you are looking for. There are probably others too that I dont know but other forum members might. It would be nice to see input from a few more people.
  14. RAG stands for "reach out and give", and is a huge charity thing and huge party that universities have every year. Most build floats for a parade and and and....
  15. It really depends. Scrog is always agressive defoliating. You have to as a leaf without light is actually more of a drain to keep alive. By the second week of flower I stop messing. Most of my growing is outdoors and base my answer on that rather. The sun penetrates all the way through, and I never prune except for training which I also dont do much. The buds on the natural expression of single main cola plants is what im after.
  16. Every leaf feeds those buds. No or fewer leaves, those that are left have to work that much harder.
  17. Update. I know these early veg updates are tedious but id like to post a week by week for the next 9 odd month grow ahead. This has also become an organic rather than soilless. Putting them in the ground. Lets see just how big they can get. 5 weeks and 2 weeks
  18. Its the start if all the issues I mentioned previously. It will only get worse very quickly. They need to get into bigger pots so they can can start getting fed. Since they are only in coir tou need to decide what next. Organics or soilless. That will help you decide what fertilizer to use.
  19. Get yourself a ph pen or ph papers at least. Those soil testers are useless at giving an accurate reading.
  20. Those plants are really struggling. They are locked out bad. I would stop with the foliar feeding as well. Focus on getting them in good soil and force yourself to leave them alone for 2 weeks....no watering after the first good watering post transplant. No feeding. No foliar. Nothing. They might recover well if you manage to discipline yourself.
  21. Time to transplant those out into 1l pots bud. If they are going to be outside plants its also the best time to just let the elements at them. They need wind to become strong to support the coming weight. Their leaves will grow thicker exposed to the outdoors. Indoor and greenhouse grown plants have much thinner leaves. You want your babies there already. Mine meet the outside world with their germination. No domes or anything else. You should know the sex of your plants in a month or so, so you will have plenty of time to choose out females. Looking healthy though but thats gonna change quickly with root restrictions. How many of all those seedlings do you intend growing out? You've started nice and early but that means a very long 5-6 month veg. Ie. Each plant has the potential to be a huge monster plant.
  22. Both my kids happened because we were stoned and relaxed. This is a horse dr.
