i was thinking of drilling 3 10mm holes in the main stem but i will try it if i have more plants and compare

@Dank the speculation is that it is a form of stressing the plant 1 week before harvest

you are trying to trick the plant into thinking it is dieing and activate its defenses and producing more resin 

@Dank i decided against it im not finding any solid information on it its all just speculation

@Dank funny enough the lower nugs are closer to harvest than the main nugs and this is pure sativa close to week 12 or 13 of flowering now

@Justin Hemp only my neighbors to the left can see my monster and they dont smoke or go to their back yard  im in a perfect spot i can do 3 those size with no problem

Effects do carry through to the oil find somthing that works for you and make oil from that 

well that question is subjective

what end goal are you aiming for  why are you making the oil

It would be a dream come true to get that from a pull 

But i usually get 1ml+ for every 10g of bud 

But i use mid grade better bud will yeald more oil 

8.8ml from 80g of bud 

No she is not ready for harvest maybe 2 or so weeks left on her possibility of 3 

I decarb at 100c for 1 hour

I just finished with 80g ethanol extraction 

does any one have any experience with stem splitting

is it a good idea some of my nugs seem a week or 2 behind the others

you can add one more step and get rid of the chlorophyll

by leaving the solution in a closed glass jar in the sun for 30 min to a hour then evaporate your solvent

and you can ask a pharmacy to order denatured ethanol for you
