  1. Update on the ladies. I topped T1 and T2 on Sunday night. I think I'll let T3 just go with the flow. Both are looking good with no signs of stress after topping. These pics were taken at 7pm last night.
  2. Quick update on the ladies. All looking very happy. The yellow colour is fading now. I think I'll look at topping two of them next week.
  3. to be totally honest....n00b mistake. I just didn't know. I've only been doing this for a year and half so still learning and kinda just following advice from all over the place. Growing cannabis was my lock down hobby which has got me hooked. My other grow mates say give CalMag with every feed and then Epsom does such wonders, so I added it. I should just stick to my old routine of giving Epsom with plain pHed water twice a week. So as @Bos said. more of a shotgun remedy to try get things to move on quicker. But you are spot on. All three plants are doing great at the moment, actually thriving and I've seen a good push in size. Will post pics later, its night time in the tent currently.
  4. pHing to 6 and using a pH meter. I re-calibrated it before the last plain water feed.
  5. thanks for the info guys. I flushed today with plain water.
  6. Hey me easy crew! Got a bit of strange thing happening here. Leaves going light green towards to outer leaf and dark on the inner leaf. Last feed was only CalMag and Epson in ph6 water. Any ideas? I'm thinking root zone, maybe too warm from the heat matt?
  7. In the last feed yeah. Flattened teaspoon of epson salts in 2L of plain filtered water.

    Love this... Super cool
  9. Quick up on the yellow girl. Massive improvement overnight. Woop woop She's getting her colour back in her cheeks.
  10. All ladies looking much better this morning. I left the fan off last night in an attempt to keep the temp up over night. Maybe it helped.
  11. I only transplanted yesterday. Was yellow before the transplant. Looking much better this morning though.
  12. Day 18 Update: Ladies were showing root growth through the jiffy pot so they're ready to go into their new pots/bags. They're all in 10L grow bags now in Organics Matter Living Soil with a dose of Rhizo-PGPR. Considering all the power issues I've been having over the past few days, they look very good except for one. She's looking a bit yellow. Could this be iron deficiency? Would a dose of CalMag sort her out? Could it be from the heat matt? Here's some shots of the other ladies. I gave them Epson Salts yesterday with their feed and seemed to react well to it.
  13. More woes my side. Power outages in the area have left my ladies without light and heat since 1am. Oh well, let's see how it goes. Thanks Eskum!!!!
  14. Update on my grow: What is this, day??? It's day 12 since the ladies went into soil. I had a bit of an incident which I hope won't affect the girls too much. Some how the load shedding last night caused my garage door to open and was open all night. The temp in the tent this morning was 11°c. More cold in other words. Here's a few kickies of the ladies this morning. I've started giving them 1/3 of the dose of the Budding Genius nutrients range in an attempt to boost them after the cold incident.
  15. some clearer pics taken outside the tent.
  16. Thanks for this advice. I'm going to try this.
  17. Superb genetics. Very consistent. Thank you @Totemic
  18. Day 6: All three ladies looking good, with no complaints. I'm still only feeding them with plain filtered water when I notice the medium drying on the surface. I'll take them outside tomorrow to take better pictures. I have to get myself a humidifier to try up the RH in the tent. I struggle with that in winter being in JHB.
  19. Day 4 after planting in the jiffy pellet, we have lift off! 2 of the 3 beans are showing signs of life. Still waiting on the 3rd to push through.

Love the video. over what time period is it? Its amazing seeing the plants moving. Looking good! I'm a bit behind.
  21. I soaked the beans overnight in filtered water. I'm using my preferred germination method on these ladies, jiffy pellets in jiffy pots. the beans were placed roughly 1cm inside the jiffy pellet and covered with Living Organic Soil from Organics Matter SA. I'll be watering them with plain filtered water over the next few days.
  22. Yeah I need some of those too.. Where'd you get them?
  23. Just received my seeds. Let's do this
