  1. Correct, indoor you control the light 100% so the best for total control.

If you plant outside, it will flower, then go back to veg in a few weeks time and you'll be stuffed.

If you veg them indoors, you can put them out in a about 3 months time, they will stay in veg.

You could veg indoors on 20 hour light on, or more, then place them outside and they should be okay for flowering through the term, done this before too.

Or you control the light outside and have it manually covered each night or morning.

If I grow in greenhouse, is it going to go straight into flower? What does this mean for my yield?

Maybe I could grow indoors and then move to greenhouse when I want it to flower?

Shortest day outside is 21st June, days are getting longer then onwards. I wouldn't unless I was covering each and every night /morning to force flowering.

And yes, if you grow straight outside now, it will flower, then start to veg again, which you really dont want.

  3. My plan is try them all (insert evil laugh here).

Then move to the next breeders stock, must explore and taste all we can in this lifetime. Hopefully find that special one, one day.

  4. Correct @Ill_Evan

They say... K2 Feminized will take you as high as the mountain tops with her snow capped buds and THC levels of up to 20%. A hybrid of White Widow, with a flowering time of 9 weeks where she will produce big yields of spicy and sweet terps and a well balanced high

Yee. Although, the GDP is now a week over the breeder's stated flowering time, so I am considering chopping this weekend. I can't see the buds filling up much more than they are right now.

Took another pic today of the trichomes. I can spot a few speckles of amber.

Really nice man, congrats and that colour too, there are a fare amount of amber that I can see in this picture. Perfect😊

don't cut those, fold them down.. they still can use the leaf for gas exchange.

I have a grow report here, they got me a bit with speed. And I was way behind with fertilizing. Plants reached about 50cm and had 50g average on.. so not the best yield.. but the smoke makes all worth it. I have Gelato on order.. I want to do the compare of the TS3000 and the QBs with Gelato and Pineapple Express Autos.. use 2 strains, each get same amount plants and same pot configuration on the same tent area. Then I wanna see the yield differences. OK.. and get more Gelato, is still my No1 smoke. 😊

I'm very interested in this comparison too and what spec QB do you have? Cant wait to see your progress on both and data before and after.

    Hi everyone,

I am new here, and I am hoping this is the right place to post this...

I ordered from the SACF website two weeks ago. Since then, I have received zero communication from there re: my order and they do not answer messages/calls/emails. Are they an honest operation, or have I been scammed and can kiss my money goodbye? Anyone had experience with them? Which is the best seed bank in SA currently? Much appreciated, and happy growing - I hope to learn a lot from all the maestros on here! 🙂

Hey Doc, I'm holding thumbs for you.

From what I see and will post now, it doesn't look good and let's hope for the best still.

There is a very negative review on Hellopeter, where the person  didnt get the correct seed, and at least they got something, not that it's a great thing, though this means a semi legitimate transaction where they got something out.

Side note to everyone and something I learned too, dont trust sites that are not https sites, and that will include a locked symbol, not like this site attached. You add banking details and they can capture the data easy. Be careful,  and you'll notice that www.420sa.co.za has the locked https site, so safe😉

  8. Good day all,

I see a few guys here use Biobizz products, like myself.

A good question for us who do. Has anyone the knowledge or understanding of what the ingredient "SG" is or are? I have done a quick Google search and didnt find relevant information.

Would be good to know this.

    Peace 420

  9. Yeah no touching is key, and funny not many know that. Agree with the moisture and storing in a dark place rules, kept them in a cool place until now but never the fridge so will go that route now.

With a humidity pack and sealed container

    Shot all

^^ I went with the breeders suggestions.. they are not bad at storing seeds 😁

    https://www.royalqueenseeds.com/content/36-how-to-preserve-seeds

Temperature changes are some of the worst you can do to them... dry humidity, darkness and even temp.. my seed vault is a thermos box in which i have my vacuum storage containers with my little treasures.

I understand your reasoning, and it makes sense one hundred percent, at first my reaction was that the seed are sealed in a airtight container when you get them, and wondered if when the seeds had been packed, had the humidity been 0%? If for any reason there is moisture in the container with the seed, would that be an issue? Learning here so dont kill me.

  11. Most probably my bad for only reading on after the reply, and had not once heard that being done before, I also did a Google and came out with the advice of method used at seed banks and that was their practice too. All actually makes sense and as you mentioned like they would be in their natural environment, cold till ready to go.

I guess everyone is always talking or showing and sharing their grows, not their storage methods, lol.

Sweeet, got a Fem Inzane in the membrane seed from Ethos chilling in the fridge, in line for my next grow.

Will be following for sure, excited to see what happens here!

Plants are looking sexy my dude!

Hey, out of curiosity and pure understanding, you put the seeds in the fridge? Should I or everyone be following such a practice? Ethos seem to be good dank and will definitely try soon.

  13. Which banks in the US? I've had from Sannies, Humboldt, and seen a few Barney's, though was first trying my hand at this, to see if I can get it spot on, now that I've seen what I'm capable of, I'm putting more into my effort. Could always use a recommendation or advice.

    Thank you

What other sites do you guys use for seeds?

I've tried trophyseeds, and my cousin has tried sangomaseeds. Both shipped pretty quick and stealthily.

Just the selection of strains are a bit limited across the sites I use... I'd love to get more Ethos strains as well as some nice colourful phenos - THC heavy

You say their shipping was good, no mention of the product grown from those suppliers, had they been good?

I've smoked for more than 20 years now, battled to find something that gave me that feeling of yesteryear and when a person first got proper stoned, and after growing a few strains, had found the GSC of Nirvana was my favorite of all for the pure pleasure of high at 28% THC and is my go to when I really need to destress.

^^ good seed sellers send stealth 😉 mhhhhh Candy Kush 👌 tasty stuff. Very nice selection indeed!

They impressed me with their service...

Have just grown one that smells just like you cracked a packet of Maynard's Jelly Babies, the yellow packet, wish I knew what strain it was lol.

    Diatomaceous Earth? @StickyD420

I have heard of it, and it wasn't something I thought I needed in there, for what it provided. Wish I could shout the details from the roof tops, but having lost my job and now this C, and now not knowing where my next income or food might be, this could be my next business opportunity.

Hey guys as for pests when growing in door  I was told to put pepples on the top layer of the soil as the pest likes to live on the top layer so buy adding pepples it doesnt give them am enviroment to live in, is this correct and does the size of the pepples matter ?

There is something you add to the soil when making it, keeps everything away with no issue, ever. I once added building sand, as someone here had mentioned, as the top layer on top of the soil, which didn't work and sinks down when watering.
