  1. This is was on Wednesday, so we close to week 10 now.

Need to get another week or 2 out of them, which I think they can survive out of these Pmwoods, rain for now but some sun ahead

Before defol was on the 17th, weather is definitely keeping me in my toes, I could say this is the worst sort of situations to grow in and without extraction, but it has not gone too badly.

touch wood summer isn’t absolutely ridiculous, really want to grow some autos

Already July.. so a bit a disaster report 😄

The Hella Jelly's are not done after 7 weeks of flower.. what a surprise 😉 but.. also had some weird light flower times. Plant structure is top, strong and decent node spacing. Haven't done pics yet.. they are also surprisingly PM resistant.

Clones... yeah, I have found my way to run clones.. no pots works awesome! With a uninterrupted ventilation, I would have jumped in circles to express my joy😂

They are not done.. that is visible.. but they also love to form rather big mains with unlimited root space. Planted them in the 1.2x1.2 tray and left them alone. Using 2 nets to keep em up, but the nets got installed before I put the clones. I just dump 20 liter at a time into the tray to water the plants. It makes sense to leave the 4 corner plants out, they can run into dry issues. I used 6 to 8 clones per row, 6-8 rows. Depends a bit how the clones grow and how many you can place. Experience will show you.

Can't control PM when there is only 2 hours of power in a 12 hours time span.. so they get washed, no option really, PM rather harsh in that tent.. more surprising how good the Hella Jelly's are resisting. I post some pics of those soon, busy day ^^

very unfortunate when these things happen, growing indoor is so very hard. Well atleast that strain looks like a nice strong plant however 👊🏻🙌🏻

  3. Hello bud I would stop using The ph down for now, until you can get a digital ph meter and guarantee the levels,

For now I recon the plants are hungry and need some whole food, kelpak wont necessarily be enough, I’ve been having the same issue with very light soil I put together.

Was with seedlings I sprouted in really light soil I put together unintentionally.

Best fix would be to put them in new soil, but if you cant, start feeding, molasses or fish, any veg type nutrient you can find.

    good luck

oh wait, you mean the leaves will make nice mulch? 😅🤦‍♂️

Lol na, I just like to see a thick layer of a mulch. Very beneficial for the plants and roots.

DIY builds are always the coolest to look at, as well as greenhouses in general.  I can imagine its such a nice environment to walk into and keep busy, away from everything else. Much respect 🔥 Hoping to do my own greenhouse in the future.

This is quite a long grow diary, so I couldn't find the info, but do you put any nutrients into your drip feed setup you have here?

Would you say mulch is worth it in an indoor environment, to retain moisture? Or not really necessary? 🤔

Looking forward to further updates! 💪

    Hello bud,

I do not, just plain water in the res, I water in any feeds I feel that the plants may need every week or so. Ill usually just do microbes, molasses or fish, enzymes , traceminerals, humics and fulvics sometimes some micronized kelp etc.

Then every month or so I top dress bonemeal, malted barley seed meal, soft rock phos, gypsum, kelpmeal, rock dusts etc. Mixed with worm casting and spread handfulls over the mulch. By the time I add another top dress, the top of the soil is somewhat exposed again, So ill add more mulch over the top-dress to get the area more active with the microbes.

Mulch is really effective when you are reliant solely on microbes to feed the plant. Mulch definitely helps with water retention, but people think mulch gives you gnats. So its really up to you and your experience with it.

Generally any unwanted pests are a result of unbalanced nutrients supply and over watering.

I have the advantage that I have an apartment waiting for me and I do not have Visa issues.. i gave myself the little exit, if Eskom goes over Stage 8 the first time, I book my tickets for me and my dogs out of here. I like indoor growing and Germany wants to legalize it too. I have better chances to get it over there as here... the ANC is just not doing ANY of the jobs they should do. I see absolutely NOTHING positive coming from Stage 16 for several weeks.. nothing.. so the moment Eskom goes over stage 8, I am gone. Enduring load shedding since 2008.. I kinda had enough ^^ And honestly I have the fear that South Africans will vote the ANC again...

I know I know, but at the end of the day. What you going to do bro? Looks like the current sentiment is everyone is done with the current government, and people are getting ready to vote. We are going to have a turnout like never before.

I would give it until the 2024 election and then decide.

    That's one sexy hothouse 😁🤩

As with most things I do, I DIY mine, she's about 5 years old now.

UV protected polyprop, will last forever as most poly materials turn yellow and change the light filtration or gets brittle with age.

I don't grow weed in mine, I keep my sacred rare cacti collection in there 💚🌵

Notice the roof, probably the biggest factor to keeping it cool in summer.

Structure is stainless steel industrial wire channels, the tables are the same material but wiring brackets they use in factories.

Very nice build man! Should last you a good long time. Does the humidity drop during the day heavily?

I am so jealous of that greenhouse, I been eyeing them out for a while now, they really awesome, interesting you mention that about the heat, my plastic tunnel was like that.

what you need is a door on the front and back so air can move through it

Cheers man, yeah is really beneficial growing space, surely won’t be easy though. Yeah, ideally it could be just frames and air could move everywhere. Will update when exhaust fan goes in and effect thereof
