Do you guys think there might be an issue with my Sour Diesel plant? The past week I noticed the leaves are drooping and just staying like that but otherwise the plant seems very healthy.
Im also attaching pictures of my other 2 plants which receive the same treatment but not wilting.
The first picture is that of the Sour Diesel
Grow medium: Jamies Garden shop soil, cant remember the name
Nutrients: Microbes
Water: Rain water
Grow environment: Outside during sunlight hours
Age: 2 months 9 days

I have read so many reviews in the last couple of days regarding this strain but unfortunately its a bit above budget. Hopefully next year but its awesome that you stock such a strain.Hi,
I thought I would get this board started with one of the best cultivars available on the market today.
I'm sure most of you are familiar with Karma's work, but for those who are not, he is one of the better breeders of OG Kush variants. His Biker Kush is phenomenal.
Headbanger is his version of the infamous Headband. He used an old Sour Diesel IBL and crossed it to his Biker Kush (Hells Angel OG x Lucifer OG). This created a big yielding SD IBL dominant cultivar. It has been getting rave reviews for a while now. Whenever he does a drop of Headbanger, they are usually sold out pretty quickly. Sometimes hours after the drop happens.
This is why we are very proud to currently have stock of Headbanger. This is a cultivar we will keep stocking as long as it is available.

Flower? Finally i know why they call weed, turbo spinach.
Lets open a debate, is cannabis a fruit or vegetable?- 1

I came across this thread when I was searching for something else and thought I'd give it a bump. So much valuable information.

I have a sour diesel in this soil as a test. Its been in there since it was 3 weeks old. I only added microbes to the soil and have not had 1 issue thus far.

I saw something similar once when I sprayed Margaret Roberts and a single drop of it was just sitting on the end of the leave.Apologies. Yes, the tip on the upper right leaf. Thanks!

Special queen one should be done this weekend according to RQS.
Thoughts? -
ThanksNope. They are pests. Like aphids they suck the juices from your plants -
Beneficial or not?Looks like a scale insect of some sort. -
Anyone have an idea what these things are?
-
The plants are looking healthy. Had a bit of a white fly issue but some Margaret Roberts quickly sorted out that problem.

Understandable. I have neighbours who are both in SAPS and they obviously smell when we smoke so now they do not allow their kid to play at our house anymore which is actually very sad seeing as the child was allowed previously when we smoked incognito but anyway.@SAgrower no real problem, but they are very nearby and I don't want to raise any flags. I just want to remain incognito
Goodluck with the Eskom issue as I dont see it going away any time soon. What about building some type of "greenhouse" outside where the neighbours will only see the structure. Then, grow some herbs, tomatoes etc and give them some, saying you built the structure because you are interested in growing so vegetables etc.- 2

A bit off topic but what is the issue with the neighbours if you dont mind me asking?Aiyayaai! hahaha
Seems like there are no tips, tricks or shortcuts... Plants need light. Period. Thought I could get away with an emergency light-type of solution but not during stages 3 and 4, too much downtime.
I think we should wait until we have the funds to afford a UPS inverter.
IF Eskom does decide to loadshed during later hours, we'll be screwed. I'm not going to chance it - too much at stake.
Thanks for all your input, everyone, it is appreciated. -
That's my thinking also thanks. Will monitor them a bit more closely now and make a call if it continues, not worth keeping one plant for the sake of just keeping it.I have wifi light (blue and red) and dehumidifier light green in m tent. Have not had any issues. I think it is the stress from the sun to the led light that is the issue. And also cold to hot inside to outside. That causes this.- 1
-
Not sure if its perhaps the cold or if it could be the new plugs installed in the garage. The plug has that glow in the dark strip on the switch but not sure if that could be enough to cause it to hermie.Unlucky man, especially from a feminised seed. Where did you buy it from?
Anything that could have stressed her?
Oh well, all part of the learning process. I have taken the plant inside and busy removing the sacks, not even 7 of them so will see what happens now. -
Thanks for the help, appreciate it. I have 3 plants currently, next run will be 4/5 as this was just a sort of experimental grow.Yes, you're right. Once one of these sacs opens the surounding plants will be pollinated and you'll end up with seeds in your bud.
If I were in your shoes I would chop it asap. There are also people that take the sacs off, but I would play it save.
Sorry man wish there would be another way. How many plants do you have in there again?
Perhaps I should try to remove them somewhere else and see how it goes, just to gain a bit of knowledge.
Thanks again- 1

Hahaha!Level 2 is only next weekSo I took some more pictures this morning, excuse the quality. I suspect this one might be a hermie.
Do I leave it as is or do I remove the sacks? Theres not even 10 of them or is this now the state the plant will stay in?
Am I correct in assuming that a hermie can also pollinate my other plants?

Currently not at home but will take another picture later.Hi @SAgrower I see what you're worried about. In the first pic right on top it seems like you got a pollen sac... I hope I am wrong. Can you make a picture from another angle? -
Bit of paranoia setting in. Could someone have a look at the picture and confirm what is going here.
This is the special queen 1 from RQS, feminised seed. -
Time for another update.
Plants were flipped on 25 July.
I dont think I will go back to normal commercial soil, the soil from@SkunkPharm is working beautifully and I really like the fact that I just give them rain water. I gave them some malted barley the other day but prefer this method to having to measure nutrients each day etc.
I have very limited experience with growing cannabis but Im very happy with the way they look now.- 2

@SAgrower I live in a valley on a farm there is mountains on everyside of my house , and then by 6 pm the sun is behind the mountain... does the greenhouse tunnel help with sunlight intensity? Cus they are in a green house
Unfortunately Im not yet experienced enough to answer you on that my apologies.
If you put them outside at 6am is it still completely dark or are there some lights in the vicinity?
The greenhouse will depend on the material used as the cover I assume.
What is the reason for taking them outside at 6am?- 1

If there's enough / correct light outside at 6am then yesThank you alll for your input ... im going to have a look today , is it possible to move the plants outside at 6 the moring and inside at 6 at night to keep them in flowering mode?- 1

Plants are looking good well done. Do you think there will be enough space for the plants when you flip them? Space looks a bit tight there. One more week of veg left for these girlies
