Would this not be awesome for indoor? I prefer outdoor. But when I saw this I thought you indoor guys would love this..

I use one of these:
https://www.takealot.com/goldair-fan-heater-upright-white/PLID38673379
More powerful, has a built in thermostat and it's relatively cheap.
Just unscrew it and cut the LED to not disturb your grow. Works really well, I place it behind one of my oscillating fans to get a more even heat in the grow area.

I wouldn't use this.
Make life easier for yourself, get some BioBizz Grow or Fish Mix for veg and then BioBizz Bloom for flowering.
Works alright and is easy to use. It's tried and tested.

I like the DIY.
Are you going to bend the plants through the net to try get a flat canopy?

I'd be keen for a good gummy recipe too.

Ahh shit man, think they hermied?
The first pic isn't loading for me.
Hopefully none of the pollen has gotten out yet.

The fungus gnats lay their eggs in the soil and then the larvae eat the roots of your plants. What a trying grow this has been. Gnat infestation, followed by aphids and now thrips. In all the years of growing, I have never experienced how cruel mother nature can be. She has a twisted sense of humour :(
I'm going to have to look at predatory mites, both my tents are infested, veg and flower.

Margaret Roberts has a mosquito pesticide, it's nematodes. Try some of that in your soil to eat the larvea and then the predatory mites sounds good.
Otherwise try Neem or Pyrol instead of the mites - but might I think may be better. Gotta spread them all over the plant as they're a little lazy.

Welcome, Pitty about the timer. That's a shit one.
Although you did not check for a week? Damn! I take a look at least once a day, at worst and if I'm not home I look on the 2nd day.
Good luck with your next grow, looks as if you'd have had a nice harvest if the timer hadn't broken.

So I finally did the STS spray tonight. The autos are growing nicely.
I will do some trimming tomorrow and neaten them up, expose bud sites to more light.
Hopefully I get balls soon... I'm getting impatient and wondering whether I somehow messed up the solution...

I'm joking, I do like me some rock though.. not really metal.
Some older stuff like Pink Floyd, Cream, Dire Straits, some newer stuff like Korn, Slipknot, Alesana and then some more indie stuff like Glass Animals, The Killers, Kings of Leon and a bit of local stuff like The December Streets and The Graeme Watkins Project.
You'll also find some classical music in my playlists, some jazz like Diana Krall.
Various electronic genres and I am ashamed to admit, a few commercial songs... like radio music... But not that newer radio music shit like umm... post malone and shit like that. bleh.

Yeah man, I love me some rock... you know, with the drums ... and some bass.
Drum and Bass, right?

Looking good, let us know how it smokes.
Got any pics of the grow and what strain / seeds did you use?

There should be time... If you aren't growing the plant for smoke, then you can leave the plant to go as long as it needs to make the nice seeds.. Even if it eventually completely dies... But you should be fine, seeds don't take thaaaat long to mature... 4 to 6 weeks if I'm not mkstaken
These auto's area already around 5 / 6 weeks old, I am hoping the seeds mature before the plants die. Will try keep them alive for as long as possible, just the one Daquari Lime which is very eager to star flowering and has lots of pistils already.
My goal isn't to get bud from these plants, it's to get viable seeds. Although some bud would be nice.

Whats STS full name?
I will have a look at dishchem though next time I am near
STS is Silver Thiosulphate Solution.
It s a mixture of Silver Nitrate and Sodium Thiosulfate. The Silver Nitrate is expensive, over R500 for 25g. However it lasts long as you use 0.5g to make a 500ml solution which is then further diluted to form the STS.

I did not have a chance to spray the STS last night, so will try do it tonight.
Having to do it before lights out makes it a bit tricky at the moment as I am rather busy and not always home.
The auto's are growing really well though! So will try spray and take pics tonight for you guys, I am getting a bit worried as I have not yet seen any balls and am not sure how long it takes for the balls to ripen and drop pollen either - a bit concerned there will not be enough time for the seeds to filly mature.

I believe Trailblazer420 got his from Dischem. It was the highest ppm he could find.nice man, where can you find colloidal silver locally? is it like a normal store bought thing.
Have researched seeding, but have not looked around yet for product
The alternative to CS is STS, but it can be a bit expensive. I'm giving it a try at the moment.

Wow, as soon as a few days.Judging by the size of some of these, they should open in the next few days.
I have selected a few females to cross with which are ready and waiting to be pollinated :)
C99 will obviously be the only pollinator...
Strains awaiting ball popping:
Pineapple Express (unknown genetics)
Sour Diesel (unknown genetics)
Mango Kush (unknown genetics)
Bruce Banner (@greenkush genetics)
GSC x BB (@greenkush genetics)
GDP X BB(@greenkush genetics)
Gorilla Glue (unknown genetics)
Royal Gorilla x BB (@greenkush genetics)
Cinderella 99 (G13 Labs) - 3rd generation
Other strains are still to young to capitalize on the fem pollin and will have to wait for the next round, however, it may be a while...

So how long from when you first saw balls to them opening?
Would be nice to have a rough time line for my plants.

Cool. So just a few stupid questions here.
You doing this to get feminised seeds right?
Is the colloidal silver forcing the plant to grow pollen, or is it stressing the plant to where
it changes to an hermaphrodite? Will the seeds be totally feminised, or will there be chances of them being hermaphrodites?
Sorry for all the questions, just trying to get my head around this.
It stops the production of Ethylene which from what I recall and this causes the plant to produce male parts and pollen.
If you have a plant which hermies, the seeds are more likely to hermie as well. With STS or CS, since the pollen is not created due to stress, the chance of higher hermies from seeds is heavily reduced.
@Trailblazer420 very nice! Mine are not showing balls yet, how long until the balls have ripened and drop pollen?

I have read that cutting leaves / removing leaves can help the plant root quicker, less energy spent on photosynthesis and more on forming roots.
I took some cutting and they had roots pushing through the jiffy pellets after 2 weeks, they're almost 3 weeks old now and in soil already.
Although I am about to build a bubble cloner, so will see how that works in comparison. I try and ensure few / small leaves on my clones.
Below is a pic of 2 cuttings I took tonight, before I cut / their leaves off, the tips mostly. I put them straight into soil though in this case.

@420SA if you look at Hawaiin Baby Wood Rose seeds for example, you can purchase that off eBay.
Nothing really stops a minor from ordering some, why is cannabis different or what am I not getting?
Popularity aside, why is it that HBWR seeds are not a problem but cannabis it? How come nobody is stopping kids from purchasing and consuming the HBWR seeds?
If kids want to do something, they're gonna do it and more often than not I think it is the attention drawn to something they should not do which most likely makes them curious and want to do it even more. It intrigues them. If there is no fuss made about it, it's more of a "who cares" type of thing.

Cannabist or Growopz Qbs ? which one do you guys prefer?
Depends which products you are comparing as well.

https://www.cannabist.co.za/product/230w-quantum-board-led-grow-light/
Worth considering, proper authentic Samsung LED diodes and comes with a heatsink and driver etc.
Or the smaller one if you'd prefer:
