  1. I have one making pollen and 15 receiving :) Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk
  2. Yeah, it goes so much deeper, spectrum etc. Reminds me of trying to grow under 'white' led many years ago, explosive stretch and fallover death Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk
  3. I'm just letting it do its thing, enough wind in the tent to spread it like a BAWSE. If you're referring to the pollenator, odlt enough, very few pistols developed, CS performed way better than expected. Just a random grab, Pineapple Express starting to go brown.. Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk
  4. A simple R50 PC case fan will drop the humidity severely. My 'ex' veg tent is running at 40% rh, a little higher than I prefer, but hopefully low enough to flower in Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk
  5. Okay, calling it a night, drill battery is flat. I need to fetch my 50w cobs and buy another 2 x 12v fans. Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk
  6. Cob is 'chip on board', these specific cobs do not need drivers, straight 220v I feel like my life will be incomplete until I have 4 x 750w units. :) :) Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk
  7. They should arrive in the next few days... Either 12v or 220v 50w COBs, whichever arrives first. Getting the frame ready so it's plug and play :). I managed to dig out a 1250w server PSU, so I'll be replacing the current one with that since the 12v cobs are starting to look a little dim on my first build. I need a total of 4 of these to cover my grow area. This one is starting to take shape... I'm going to leave my first one as is for vegging, so I'll build 3 of these for my flowering tent Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk
  8. The process has started. Version 2 of my DIY LED. Will keep posting pics until finished Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk
  9. Best would probably be 18/6. That said, I root mine in my vegging tent which is 24/0. Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk
  10. Flowers are still popping. If the pollen is viable, I'll definately have a bunch of seeds soon. Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk
  11. Seems legit, enough ratings for me to take a chance on a few. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F273974030632 Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk
  12. Excellent work man, well done Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk
  13. I hope so man, was starting to worry Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk
  14. This was something that I pondered about a long time ago, shorter daytime may give you quicker yield, but it comes at a cost. Yield will be minimum and quality may not be great. You're possibly going to end up with some hermies. Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk
  15. I drenched it, absorption is primarily through the leaves as I understand it. Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk
  16. I initially did the same thing, seperate the plant in two parts... Then something came to mind, the point of the foliar spray, is for the plant to absorb it, thus, regardless of how many branches you spray, the entire plant will absorb the silver. It then goes without saying, the more of the plant you spray, the higher the chance of success. Once you start spraying, the whole plant will not be smokable. That said, using colloidal silver, you should still be able to make extracts (I haven't researched this, just makes sense) for edibles. I'm not sure if the same would apply to STS. 17. Welcome man, post some pics :) Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk
  18. Hey man, any metal place would be able to do it for you. I just went to 'cut2size' Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk
  19. Alright, this will be my last update on this thread. I will create a new thread for v2. I have decided to order myself a 300mm x 600mm 2mm sheet, same size as my current light, but it's a single piece, reducing the amount of heat transfer paste needed, better heat distribion, and due to less rivits needed, will result in better aesthetics. Sheet was under R300, so cost is about the same as buying alu strips, but much less work for about the same price. Overall, light performance is good, so will be building 4 more over the next few months, replacing all my existing makeshift designs. Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk
  20. So my estimate was off by a week, first flower only popped last night. Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk
  21. Hey Crex, coming from an HID background, I fully agree, it played a massive role in the evolution of grow lights. But when it's time to upgrade..... LED is like a new little sportscar, smaller, lighter, sexier. :) Truth be told, if I wasn't limited to space, I'd probably still be running HID. Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk
  22. There is very little room for error with autos, as you don't control flowering. You can't veg a little longer because the cat ate half you plant... I'm not a big fan of auto's, tried once and had some bad luck as well. Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk
  23. Not sure about lifespan of Diy CS. I'm not using STS,@greenkush or@PsyClown may be able to answer STS related questions. Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk
  24. Not too much longer... Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk
