  1. Girls will start week 9of flower tomorrow. Only rainwater running through the Blumat's irrigation . Took 15 Min of the lights on time and added to dark time .
White Wedding RBX looks like the first one coming down , hopefully she is ready by the weekend because I will be .
Strawberry Fields internodes space I like and should yield more than the White Wedding .
Zurple Punch is close behind them and turned out with nice dark colour .

R160 treats 100L of soil. Never using other nutes again.
Elemental is awsome , I used it both ways ......amend old soil and just with Spagnum peat moss/Coco and pearlite .
I always have a bag by me

  3. Thanks man .
First time growing this strain so I kept the ppm/ec on the low side cant really see signs of nuts burn but will definitely keep my eye on it

That little yellow/liiiight green on the tips of your leaves , that's the start of nute burn but that doesn't have a I'll effect the way it's now , actually good sign and something you can use as a guideline.

  4. Noice Mant man . Looks like you have a tiny nute burn on tips of leaves , I do that on purpose to see how much the strain can take in flowering.

  5. Good evening fellow growers !

Girls behaved good this week and only received water with a little Probiotics.

Temps and humidity stays in the prevererd brackets .

Before and after trim pics , tried to stage them with the black fabric IMG_20210719_175652.jpgIMG_20210719_180515.jpgIMG_20210719_180738.jpg

  6. Your plants look great man , what I do with the FF is add 1ml/L of FF Probiotic , you get microbes and it lowers the ph enough . FF can buffer up from 5ph easily but can not buffer down well over 6,5ph. It's a great product to try out.

  7. Lekker man , just water 5-10cm from the rim of the bags +- half a litre every few days , lots of medium for the plants so the core stays moist and only outside and top that dries out .

  8. 7 days into flower , they enjoying this grow space much more than the veg space . Very cold the last week in WC and they just received plain rainwater.IMG_20210712_180811.jpgIMG_20210712_180816.jpgIMG_20210712_180827.jpgIMG_20210712_180847.jpg

  9. Good Morning to all the growers. Glad its Friday, Will be needing the morning over the weekend to fanagle this dam blumat again, this specific setup definitely comes with enough head aches, either too much or too little, anyways been able to read the situation and add accordingly.
The plants are reacting well to the extra photons. Day 7 of flowering today, the net will be going on tomorrow as well. I have noticed a bit of tipping the edge of calcium/potassium antagonistic signs from all assimilation capabilities of the worm/barley top dress, as well as the molasses (this one quite high in calcium) spray, so I think this week they getting a spray of humic&fulvic only.
Nothing else to report, plants are happy, managed to get less yellow/orange images, the lights get a bit intense on full.
I am super impressed with this soil (almost 2 years old), exact same soil that I used to grow the WHITE WIDOW and FROSTED APRICOTS - I did reamend if after that run though.
    *Some lights off for colours.

    Fantastic colours man .
The "problem" for me with the Blumat before I realised it was that they drip when ever it's needed, I was used to hand watering daily after work so medium was usually the same moisture when I got home . Soo with the Blumat's it was dry or wet when I came home and I kept adjusting till I realised adjust a little and leave for 2 days and check again , then the happy place was found after a week . Must add that I have there digital moisture meter that helps alot with getting it setup and maintaining what you want.

  10. @PsyCLownthey sell the soaker hose on marijuana SA. R67 per metre. I was just looking for prices on the carrots and drippers. It's going to cost R1200 to set up enough for 2 totes.
I use something similar to water my compost piles with.large.IMG_20210708_100019.jpg.b14660fcd4d02dc1881955b600fa26ec.jpg
I currently use a timer, tank and spaghetti tubes for watering during flower.  I flood into the trays every other day and let the pots suck up the water overnight.
Thanks, but I still can't shift the lime colour from the two big girls though. They don't look so lekker, right now.
I will claim the bulbs too, cheers.
@Bay Seedslarge.IMG_20210707_070657.jpg.66a723eb465e0be654a2ddf50aec8584.jpgthe boy/girl. Its happened to each one, so I probably stressed them out.
Twix , try Fish Hydrolysate to maybe get more green in your plants , I have used it with great effect , so great I gave plants nitrogen toxicity .....dark dark green

  11. 100% you can, this is how the system is built / designed.
Gives you the flexibility to adjust how damp you want the medium to be kept. When it drops below a certain dampness level then it starts drip feeding until the dampness level is back to where you set it.

Blumat tropf carrots are pretty awesome. IMO a far superior automatic watering system compared to one which uses a timer. It ensures each pot / tote only gets water when the medium has dried up enough.

@GGG Where did you get the soaker hose from? I want to try some out before placing a large order.

@Twix Aphen Your plants are looking great, I have some 3000K LED bulbs with an E27 connector which came with the house, but I prefer a higher Kelvin in my house so they're sitting around gathering dust.
Would you have any use for them? Perhaps add them to where the males plants are?
    @PsyCLown , try this link https://marijuanasa.co.za/product/blumat-soaker-hose-per-1m/.

  12. I use 2 per tote , mediums/soil stay moist at the core of it longer than the sides so I put mine length wise a 3rd from each side , that gives a almost even moist medium from my experience. I have used between 3-6 drippers per Blumat and they drip 10-15 cm from the sides . First dripper needs to be 8cm from Blumat's and the rest as you please , I try 15-20cm apart.
I'm doing a run with the Blumat soaker house now , so far not to bad .

  13. In the totes it's Blumat's and normal pots Wich I can move around to get to the plants in the totes I water by hand .
Blumat's in totes works well .
