  1. What helps in the winter is sucking air in from the top and catching the hot air from the lights and then the outlet at the bottom , I usually change intake from bottom (summer) and then top in winter 2-5 degrees helps with no extra cost

  2. Day 1 of 12/12.
And we are down to 9. Removed the 4 taller phenos that were back row. They'll flower outdoors.
The remaining 9 are +/- 40cm tall, and pushing the 14th node at 7 weeks.

  3. The purple is probably due to the drop in temperature around the tent.
Where you get that soil for so cheap?
Jip agreed , that element heater is very quick very hot .
    Soil from Cape Garden Centre

  4. Clone is a 150w Strip light from Growopz and the veg is a QB320 also from Growopz that's turned down to 200w.
My veg area ain't perfect at Al , biggest problem for me is the element heater . Heat is immediately there and immediately off where as the panel heated takes more time to heat up and stays heated awhile longer. I start getting purple stems in winter and think it's because of the big quick differences .

  5. 6 days later , doing very well .

Fed 2days ago 1ml/L Rootjuice and Bio Heaven just to give something although it's not necessary , that soil has been very friendly to the girl .

Moved then from the clone light to my veg light and they under 4000K again. Will see in the next week if and how I want to train them .

Pics was taken outside again , veg room is to cramped up , so they got a teeny tiny bit of sunlight . If this is not exceptable....well then I'll try something else that is way more effort . Live and let live 🤫

  6. Hey Man, tryin to reply but my kids got me busy, lol so I have just got through a veg with them now in bed scenario and they work amazingly well I think. I have not got any drippers on the 2 large carrots, they get regulated solely from the calibration of 2 triangles back might have turned it back half again. 1 in outlying and one closer to the middle.
With this one I decided to try the dripper for better regulation. However I think it’s only necessary when drip tape is completely out of range of the carrots

Aah I see what you did there @ORGANinc. Interesting , so your carrot will take longer to close and you have have the short carrots right ?

  7. Yebo net so
Some ppl make a circle in a bed with one dripper and some do 2 drippers on each side of the hose or 2 hoses with 2 drippers , nice to play around with and can suit the way you want it

  8. Hi Phy , with the hose you have to set one dripper 8cm from carrot and the water line from dripper to hose . So it starts and stop with the dripper.

  9. Whats up @GGG - i am not sure how clearly the rules are written regarding taking plants outside, but for the duration of this comp, please do not take your ladies into the sun.
others are being warned as well.
*** going forward from today, penalizations will be imposed on unfollowed rules @All - Everyone ***
Sweet no worries it was just for the pics.

  10. Clean!
Loving your lights/spread, looks like alternating colour temp panels, or is it the angle?
    Thx , it's 3000K and 4000K mixed panels , more 3000K aimed at flowering.

  11. So these lady's was switched Monday , almost a week into flower.
Mostly just plain water and once a week a FF Probiotic , did FF Fire Juice last 10 days twice and once a dose of Micorrhizae 2 days ago.
From here on just Fire Juice and Probiotics once a week.

Let's hope that Zurple Punch doesnt stretch to much , can only raise the light another 30cm.
    Have a lekker week.IMG-20210530-WA0004.jpg

  12. Have done grows in both methods of the Elemental Blend (30ml/L of used soil and 1L/10L of inert medium Coco/perlite/Spagnum peat moss ) and to great success , but have to add that I mixed in some worm castings also at 1L /25L mix . Also used the CMC (weekly) and Bio Phos ( in flower) with that
