Greetings all

Righto. Will be starting hopefully very soon.

My plans:

Since I'm new to autos I will be taking the safe
route feeding wise. Will be filling pots with freedom farm seedling mix and planting in final
10L pot size. Will try 15L and 20L later since I
already had the 10L fabric pots from the last
grows.

60cmx60cmx170cm tent
Budget 110w led light
Biobizz indoor try pack. Grow bloom and topmax
Biobizz activera
Biodyne 401

Since I have seagro I might replace the biogrow
with small dose seagro until preflower for the proteins and then switch to biogrow.

Not sure if i should pop 2 white prussian for the
pilot run incase I mess something up as I'm rusty
or should go 1 prussian and 1 zkittlez.

Edit: forgot to mention I will be using Newlands spring water.

Tap water is sitting at 7.2 ph so it's usable incase
of an emergency.

Pics coming soon.

Update

I snapped the growtip off the Prussian while LST 🙈 it's not even in preflower yet.

The Zkittlez is in full tilt flower.

First feed of biogrow, biobloom and topmax a few days ago. 1ml per L each. Testing to see if the bloom nutrient mix will trigger the Prussian. Super impressed with Zkittlez with our current loadshedding state. I just left the switch on and they only sleep when we loadshed

Update.

So I kicked Prussian out into the backyard. No movement from preflower making me think it's probably quick flowering and not auto. 2 hours lights off a day twice a day with loadshedding, she probably needs a solid lights out duration to flower.

On the other hand Zkittlez is taking over the space. Just wish i started LST earlier. Can I safely say Fastbuds genetics is loadshedding friendly lol?

  • 4 weeks later...

So i made a moerse mistake about 2 weeks ago. Had some nute burn and flushed at the wrong ph. When I tested the runoff later it was at 8.2.

I then flushed with spring water pH 5.5 and then been feeding at 5.5 as well and runoff ph seems to be stuck at 7.4 almost a week later.

Can I feed at a even lower pH or what are my option?

I forgot FF buffered with calcium to raise Ph 😡

And yes I cut off burnt tips because I'm not good at remembering old scars lol. I might mistake old burnt tips as new nute burn

Hehe, I'm sure you're not the only one 😉 I've taken off ugly bits for sure. I'm guilty your honour!
