It's been 6 weeks of veg and I'm relieved to report that all's well, despite the low ambient temperatures, averaging around 15-20C. I've got 4 strains on the go AK-47, OG, BS and White widow. Medium is Coco based, with a melange of amendments, bat and wide bird Guano, mycorrhiza, bonemeal. Feeding with Nitrosol, Seagro and Kelp. Decided to supplement with inorganic nutrifeed in moderation, will update the forum with results. Repotted 4 plants into 30litre pots over the weekend, remaining 10 babies will remain in 8liter pots.

It's been months since I smoked any dank, am really looking forward and to the fruits of this grow...773c84759b67d49b7f835e98d224041c.jpg3d108f7cfa3d9060d443724818c581b2.jpg

Man that's some deliciousness , plz post a pic if you don't mind.

Anyways tomorrow I will finish up my diy veg tent, plan to post a how-to for those forumites on a budget, also those with flimsy tents will find this design way more rigid and strong, watch the DIY space....

Mid week 8 of Veg. Cut 10 lower and mid branches from most vigorous plants for cloning in newly built bubble cloner, featuring a 25W aquarium heater, Dynaroot provided the rooting hormones, as you can see a few wilted due to not making contact with water. Been reading conflicting recommendations as to the level of the clone in or above the water, decided to completely submerge tip and raise up once turgid and maintain water level at the level of the cutting to minimise rotting of the stem. Currently would be clones are under a 50w led scored for R90 8)

Reduced light schedule in veg tent from 18/6 to 16/8, plan to flip 12/12 this weekend. Overall plants have reacted well to stress of taking cuttings.

Forgot to mention, I added about 1/2 cup of wood ashes to each pot, have read mixed reports, but in general, positive. Has anyone experience with ash or potash, when used as fertilizer?

 Also been looking into potash

Have you been using your own wood ash or been sourcing it?

Using ashes from the fireplace, mostly hardwood, no charcoal. Plants seem to be happy with, but hoping to see huge gains in flower. Truly organic. May apply a top dressing in three weeks. If you gonna make your own , make sure no treated timber or firelighters are used ;)

Veg-W09, Flower-W0. Fired up the 400W hps and flipped to 12/12

Administered a strong concoction of organic and chemical nutes. Was quite impressed with 420sa's reference to the grower who fed 6 times daily to root bound trees, figured I'd give it a try considering 8/12 of my plants are already root bound and thirsty. Can't manage 6x, will settle on 2x daily.

Got the 400W lamp working off 600W electronic ballast on medium setting. Any one have a recommendation on this? Room is filling out nicely, preflowers already evident on most plants, no sign of balls, but really haven't looked hard enough.

Will perform some LST over the coming weeks as they stretch and show sex. Plan to produce a few seeds and crosses with the AK 48, if I have a worthy stud.. will see

W07 flower. Pollinated last week, hoping to get a few crosses from this grow. Fed with more ash and dusted the leaves followed by a generous misting. Drenched soil with strong brew of organic and inorganic flowering nutes, about 1.5litre per plant.

Clones doing well, have around 20 on hand. The smell in the cab is amazing buds are sticky and heavy. :-rollitup
