If they all still look alive, then they should all root. :D Some just take a bit longer than others. So today we have 3/6 with roots protruding from the rockwool woot, none look like they dying yet!

I was forced to go the cheap route. Hortimix A & B with a bit of calmag in the reservoir.think i will pop my outdoor charlottes angel plant in one and see how she does, got a few lying around the garage. shes been looking sad in a 10l bag since her sisters got 38l material pots.
what nutes do you run?
The pic I posted earlier was during the recovery from a severe calmag deficiency, they're doing a lot better since. Next time i have to remember to buffer my coco.

It's basically an ebb & flow wicking system. The easy to go being more diy & the autopot is everything you need in a kit.We need more info!

Yup. Clay pellets/leca in the base, then promix 50/50. I'm also using an airdome to bubble air through the roots, but that's optional.how do grow you in them, coco perlite?
i found organic soil wasnt a fan of the wet base. do you add clay pellets or perlite at the base?

I've honestly haven't had anything worth entering for a while now. At least I'm winning my battle against PM, whiteflies & mag lockout due to unbuffered promix. :D
Definitely an on-going learning process...

I'm a huge fan of the Autopot system. As long as your reservoir is sorted wrt nutrients, then it's pretty much hassle free.Hi Guys
Anyone have experience with this ?
https://growguru.co.za/products/autopot-easy-to-go-kit
Just get a large shallow container to hold your pots and then install this thing in the tray.
Im growing in Coco and perlite using synthetic nutes.
Just looking for new tech that doesnt use electricity, thanks Eskom!
Thanks!
Right now I'm running a dual XL autopot system outdoors & a 15l autopot in the shed.
I would advise getting an air pump for your reservoir. It'll keep the water oxygenated and clean, if loadshedding hits, a few hours won't affect it much.

Nope, but I watch a lot of subscription box unboxings from customgrow420 & phrankiec87. Some really nice pieces.Have you seen Praxis Glass ?
I can only window shop at little Amsterdam, lol

When I have some cash to spare, I want to start a nice glass collection ;) . For now my goto is a vape pen & the occasional joint.

Not at all. As long as they dont dry out, they can handle fairly high temps. Depends on the strain too. I grow mostly sativas & they love the heat, but I also haven't had any problems with the 1 or 2 indicas I have wrt heat...So you don't think it's due to the seedlings being too sensitive to the heat today because it is quite a hot day?
My biggest problem is mildew, whiteflies & the occasional bud worm. :(

If that's what they look like after you've topped up the soil, then it's more than likely wind that bent ur girls over.
They've gotten super stretchy looking for light. I would add more soil to support them & find a spot outside that gets the most sun.
I'm lucky, I have a spot in my garden that gets full sun from 8am till 7:30pm ,or whenever sunset is, and it's hidden from neighbors & other nosey ppl.

I still have a few Bay11 & a Blue dream for next year's grow. Currently have 2 x Bay11, a Royal haze bagseed & a Blueberry bagseed in flower outdoors & 2 Nefertiti bagseed & a blueberry in my shed

I started using one of these Garland propagators on the windowsill. Works well, had to line it with clingwrap, since it has holes in the bottom & a sheet of paper to block out most of the sunlight.Lol, thats my current clone setup, was at plastic warehouse but only found catering trays that were too big, so still on the hunt.
I see no mention of bubble cloners, seems to be my best results to date to be honest, but i may be a tad outdated
Could probably fit 8/10 cuttings if I leave the rockwool sheet intact. I did 5 at once & they all took.

My first humidity dome was a 2l coke bottle cut in half & fitted back together with my cuttings inside & the cap closed, opening up once a day to get some air. 3 clones at a time. It was a tight squeeze, but I got 100% success rate with 6 cuttings.

Freedom farms FTW.
I won't use anything else for my outdoor. For my autopot I'm using the 50/50 promix with no additives.
With cannabis, general rule of thumb is steer clear of any soil that has any additives & slow release fertilizers. In most cases it's too hot for seedlings & they don't survive.

1 in 11 didn't pop, because I put it straight into soil when I started out. Rookie mistake. Lol. I split my order with a few workmates and all of theirs popped. That's good to know, Jimmy. How many plants are we talking about though? 100% could be 1/1 lol.

I've done royal haze & amnesia haze. Extremely pleasant heady high & very potent. The only difference between the 2 was the royal haze had slightly more of a citrus taste.

I say you should leave them be. I've noticed 2 on my outdoor plants & no more whiteflies. They're doing a great job eating pests on mine.
They will build a very tiny nest, though, so I dont want to harm them at harvest...but I'll burn that bridge when I get to it.
