I feed twice a week, with a flush & feed on the weekend. Water only when necessary.

edit: I got the nutes, pots & soil from hydroponic.co.za. Mine are badly root-bound because the pots were too small, so next round I'm planting in the ground next to the house

Here's mine at week 3 last week, it's also at week 4 now & looks very similar to yours. Been feeding with EHG ripener in addition to grow, micro & bloom. It's difficult to be patient. Lol. I'm checking every day to see how they're doing.

I managed to get the 3 part EHG. SUPER GLAD! I  also got the hortimix mpk bloom booster. I was thinking I could use this in flower for a phosphorus and potassium. What do you guys think?

Nice I went for the EHG kit as well, but with the EHG ripener for the same reason. Check hydroponic.co.za in Kraaifontein.

Very cool podcast. I checked the second one too with Charl from Join the queue. It was very insightful, I was living this little fairy tale that if I do get busted, I'd tell them my story and they'd go easy on me... Ignorance is bliss I guess.  It shocked me to realise that they really don't care who they arrest.  I guess vigilance is still the name of the game, for now at least...

So ripener is P 22.6g/kg K 38.5g/kg Mg 14.9g/kg. What I'm seeing is some type of salt coming out of solution if I mix all 4. But that's only if I let it stand for a day or two

I can confirm there's no nitrogen or sulphur in ripener. Will get the amount of the components later when I'm home.

I'm mixing all 4 for my feed. So they're getting a full complement of minerals

I would've thought so too, but not according to Horitshop site, neither any S in the Bloom formula, only the Grow. Anyone have a bottle of Ripener on hand?

Are they legit? and are their seeds good quality.

Yes legit, ordered twice already. They are kak busy atm, orders seem to be doubling month on month especially since the latest court judgement. You can link up with the owner on the facebook page if needed.

 

 

Any feed back on germ rate please?

Getting 100% germ rate on my amnesia kush & royale haze. My soil mix was off so I lost 2 of 4 amnesia kush. Nursing them back to health in proper growing medium.

yup. Lol. I enjoyed the Combo, but switched to a Kylin the beginning of the month. The Kylin has slightly better flavour & holds a bit more liquid with the bigger tank section.

So a quick update. They're getting a bit too big for the windowsill. Will have to move them outside soon.

No extra lighting. On the windowsill they get sun from 10am till about 5. 2 plants in there till the roots have recovered properly. There was literally just a nub where the roots should be, till I changed the soil. There's a few roots I can see on the side of the bottle, so I'll transplant them soon. I'm honestly not expecting much from those.

Greetings from slaapstad. Been lurking a while. Recently started a small windowsill grow. Still have a lot to learn. Used to puff way back in the late 90's & looking to cannabis to help with insomnia. In the pic: amnesia kush on the left @ 8 weeks. Recovering after I burnt the roots with kak soil mix at the start & royale haze on the right @ about 6 weeks. Letting the girls out for some winter sun. using EHG nutrient kit & freedom farms growing medium.
