  1. Beware: futurama does not actually sell these products- they are an online marketing company. They are a middleman selling the same products the hydro stores sell, and even use the same pictures you'll see on the hydro stores websites. Completely redundant entity.
  2. Drill out the rivets at the mouth, pop off the cover, refill and replace the cover with new rivets. Easy!
  3. Great respect for your standpoint Totemic, as it mirrors my own. Round and round we will go until we realize, that until the PLANT is freed, the status quo will remain: the law will prohibit us from growing, and we will grow anyway. Capitalism and government have their strengths, but don't stand a chance against a seed in fertile soil.
  4. I'm answering both your current threads here. Use the biobizz products as you have been doing, quarter strength. Follow my previous instruction, and up it slightly over time. Your plants are looking pretty good, so the medium can't be terrible. Your not going to break any records on your first grow, so don't sweat it. Enjoy the ride, your gonna learn things no one has the time or patience to teach, you just have to go through the motions.
  5. "Organic promix" is a very generic term. Just about every hydro shop sells their own version. You can bet some are better than others. Do you have to add nutes? Depends, what's in the soil mix? Has it been matured? Is the pH correct, etc. I've not had great results with pemixed soils. I prefer to mix my own, let it mature and amend as/when necessary. There are excellent mixes from Totemic and Reaf on this site.
  6. They're still young dude, it's a little early to diagnose since they don't look bad. Try upping your feeding strength slightly and see how it goes. Keep upping the strength little by little until you're happy with the colour, or they show signs of burn.
  7. Yeah! Now you're on the right track! Think things through, shop around, and you'll have a decent grow setup fore ya know it.
  8. Buddy, the good stuff is good because it works. You don't have to spend a fortune, but you gotta get the basics in place. Spend a little time and money now, or this endeavor will only bring you heartache.
  9. A little late, but here anyways: from the picture you posted before the pot up I can tell you that your plants not getting enough light. It's stretching for light which causes gangly stems, and falling over as you described previously. I'm sorry to break it to ya, but mixing freshly bought potting soil with compost and bonemeal etc, is likely to to give you bad results. Your mileage may vary. Reafs thread on organic soil mixes rightly stress that such mixes need time to mature. Your best bet is to use the potting soil on its own, possibly with the addition of perlite and or vermiculite for drainage, and adding an organic MJ friendly nutrient to supplement. Best of luck to ya!
  10. Just go easy buddy, your on the right track. Biggest mistake ppl make at this stage is overwater, and nute. Let it get some light, water a little when you do, and don't add any nutes yet. You can think about potting up in about ten days. Start with quarter strength nutes when the third set of leaves have appeared. Post regular pics so we can see if things are going south, and guide you back on track.
  11. Don't bother with ppm, it's merely an approximation. You cannot directly measure parts per million of anything, unless you have the time to count and separate millions of whatever, but you can use an indirect measurement if you know something about what you are trying to measure. In our case dissolved salts. In the good ol' USA we use a conversion factor of 0.5 which is to say, your EC of 1,333 equals 666.5 ppm. The euros like a conversion factor of 0.7 which would give you 933 ppm. So which is it? 666.5 or 933? What it is falls somewhere between those two. Why mess around, when you can know the exact answer, which is 1.333 EC.
  12. Are the seeds visible from the top as in your pic? If so, you need to plant them a little deeper, and fold some rockwool over the hole. Seeds germinate in the dark. You don't want to expose the taproot to light once germed either.
  13. Some of my biggest yielders were the runts at seedling. The key is not to overreact. Keep everything conservative. Less is more- until it isn't. BUT don't stress, your allowed to make mistakes.
  14. If you could control temp, humidity & co2 to a high degree of accuracy, you'd be running on the the cutting edge of growing at 30 c;70rh;1100ppm co2. If you cannot control these factors simultaneously, your temps are too high by A LOT, humidity is at max for veg, and co2 is what it is: assume 450 ppm. With LED's you want to be running slightly higher temps, but without controlling humidity and co2, dont go any higher than 27 deg. The holy trinity is: temperature;RH;co2. Control these three things, give adequate nutes @ correct pH, you'll be pulling a gram+ per watt light output. Note: I'm not saying you won't grow anything if you don't get the trinity right, I am saying there is a way to grow optimally and get the maximum output from your effort and expenditure.
  15. Looks like a neat setup you got there I wouldn't bother with yeast/sugar co2 at this stage, but you probably won't heed my advice. It can't hurt so knock yourself out. When you've had a few grows under your belt, you'll understand. Tell us how you plan to manage temperature and humidity if you are. If you aren't, give up now. What parts do your extractor/ scrubber consist of. Count on running them permanently. How will you treat incoming air. Two tents, one fan means you're in the market for another fan. Are you gonna do veg tent and flower tent? Water for germ/ seedling: pHed water. Medium: shot cup 24 hours then into coco/perlite. Keep lightly moist. Keep us posted
  16. That'll do Let's see how you come along
  17. Yep, you gotta take your space into consideration Personally I'd wait to see the very first preflowers but you might want to flip within two weeks
  18. Keep going Your still doing fine Get ready for your biggest yield yet
