  1. Ah I see. Ignore my previous message then. LOL! What did you think of budwashing?
  2. Nice one bud! I wouldn't use the fan though unless humidity is really high where you are. The one and only time I dried with a fan, the bud dried out way too fast.
  3. At first I was like: "WTF is he talking about?!" Then...
  4. LOL! Thanks for pointing out the ambiguity of that sentence. Fixed now.
  5. UPDATE Day 33 and 26. Two more weeks to flip! Much excite. The lemons are powerhouses! They are a full week behind the other plants, but you wouldn't be able to tell. Even when I up-potted them on friday, they just carried on growing like nothing happened. Didn't slow them down even an hour. LC-OG is also great. Just the Blue Venoms are a little iffy. They lack the vigor of the other 2 strains, and they seem to be calmag whores. Some good growth in the last 3 days. I'm happy with where they are now. Will do another round of topping on wednesday. Will also add one of the LED lights this week. We are fast approaching the interesting stage. The 2 Lemon OG kushes are the first 2 plants at the bottom of the pic.
  6. Didn't think of that. What is an easy way to safely store them then?
  7. Sounds fucken horrible. DO NOT WANT!
  8. Agreed. I also only joined again recently. Think about 3 or 4 weeks back. Been on 420magazine for the last few years now.
  9. That's pretty cool Namib. NBD is hard to find these days. I still have 3 reg seeds left. Can't wait to pop them.
  10. It depends on the strain, but yes, I do go higher often. With this round, was already feeding 8ml/10L at about 2 weeks in veg. In flower I will push it until I start seeing burnt tips. I use the schedule provided by GThydro which is a bit more aggressive than the official schedule provided by Nutriplex. Also, in flower I tend to increase the bloom portion after about 5 weeks of flowering.
  11. I don't think you will be disappointed with Nutriplex.
  12. Thanks bud I'm using Nutriplex. Very happy with those nutes. Been using them for a while now.
  13. It's pretty subjective, but my take on it: To be proper A grade, there should obviously be no twigs or seeds. Buds should be dense, and trichomes visible. Well manicured. The smell and taste should be pleasant, and of course the buzz should be good. Properly flushed, so no sparking when you smoke it and no unpleasant bitter after taste. Someone else might have a different opinion though.
  14. Praying for the light this morning. Much better... Have a look at the size of that fan in the background. Absolute overkill. LOL! I purchased it online, without realising just how big it is. Even on it's lowest setting, it produces gale force winds in the tent. I doubt I will be able to keep it in the tent when the plants get bigger. What a waste.
  15. Cool thanks guys. I will make a plan to do that in future. I'm a lazy fucker, but this makes good sense.
  16. No flushing. 15L of RO water, and 10L of pH'd tap water. I add the calmag to the tap water. Tap water gets added after RO water. Then just add my perlite and we're good to go.
  17. LOL! I used to freak out when stuff like this happens, and then try 100 different things to fix it which in turn usually made it worse. Now I'm not too fazed. That plant will either come right or it won't . Chances are it will be fine this time next week.
  18. UPDATE Day 29 and 22 for the lemons. So finally we have something to talk about. About 8 or 9 days ago I noticed a calmag issue on the 4 bigger plants, and a touch of def on one of the lemons. I do charge my coco with calmag, but realised that this time I had used less than I normally do. Just a stoner mistake. No problem, as I then just started supplementing with calmag earlier in veg than I normally would. All the plants corrected nicely, except for one Blue Venom. It got worse. So this morning, I hit them all with a stronger dose of calmag and gave the girls in the big pots more water so that the calmag can saturate the medium a bit more. Lets see what happens in the next 2 to 3 days. I have highlighted the problem child in the pic below.
  19. Just want to add my 2 cents here. I recently grew out Blue Cheese, Sour Chiesel and Black Rhino. Seeds purchased from GSR. There is no doubt in my mind, that what I got was what I paid for. The blue cheese got pretty tall with dark colouration and big stinky buds. Definitely a cheese leaning pheno. That smell! The sour chiesel now ranks as one of my all time favourite strains. The smell and taste, is pure sour candy with a twist of grapefruit. Delicious! A nice focused sativa leaning buzz as well. The black rhino was terrible, but that plant was a bit of a mutant from the start. This was my first grow after an 18 month hiatus from the hobby. No training whatsoever, and probably a fair share of mistakes along the way. Still, I got 85g from the blue cheese and 83g from the sour chiesel. Black Rhino was a nute sensitive diva that was ragged as fuck from the start. Only got 32g from her, but that is not GSR's fault. Only reason I would rather buy from Bonza, is the risk you run using a local supplier.
  20. They're looking fantastic Toby. Should start fattening up nicely in the next 2 weeks.
  21. That makes 2 of us bud. LOL! Very keen to try out the Lemon OG. I hope I get a nice citrusy pheno. The LC-OG is already putting out a bit of a smell. If you rub the leaves that is.
  22. Don't worry bud. I will keep the pics coming. I just soak my seeds in a shot glass of RO water, and then after 24 hours straight into coco/perlite. If it is cold, I will put them under the HPS to prevent the damp coco from getting too cold. Works well for me and it is simple.
  23. Transplanted the 4 bigger girls into 5 gal smart pots last night. It went very well. No issues whatsoever. I always get a little nervous when up-potting. Plants are at 26 days for the bigger ones and 19 days for the 2 Lemons.
