  1. I usually do this: Day 1 - feed Day 2 - feed Day 3 - plain water with calmag Then I will let them dry out a little over 36 - 48 hours depending on how much they drink. Then just start cycle again at day 1. I only ever measure pH, which is a must in coco/hydro.
  2. Haha I did . I think for that word you get a bonus 10 points actually :thumbups
  3. I stay fairly close to it, although in flower I tend to use a little less or take a little longer to ramp up to the recommended dosages. In veg, I tend to go slightly over recommended dosages close to the end of veg. Here is an example: Recommended veg dosage = 8ml/10L for all three. Last 10 - 14 days I will usually use 10ml/L for all three. Recommended flower dosage for first 3 weeks = 15ml/10L for micro and gro parts. 20ml/10L for bloom part. As of yesterday, I have just gone to roughly 13ml/10L for micro and gro, and roughly 16.6ml/10L for bloom. It depends on how the plants look though. I will also sometimes bump up bloom portion past recommended dosage in the last 3 - 4 weeks of flower.
  4. LOL! Did you spot my cool use of the word parallax. 5 points for me. I kid... Thanks for the compliment broheim.
  5. UPDATE Day 11 of 12/12 Still powering on, although I think the extra light (or maybe the LEDs specifically) are taming the stretch on the plants. They seem to be quite a bit bushier than previous grows. Either way, I'm happy. Just hope it equates to a decent yield. Took a few more pics this time round. First one just to show my setup for those that are interested. The lights are not quite as high up as they appear in the photo. Error of parallax. (Just for you GLO ) More sativa pheno of Lemon OGK More sativa pheno of Lemon OGK Blue Venom
  6. I will echo Cerealkilla's sentiments:
  7. Don't bother dialing down to 250w. Just keep the light a little higher in the beginning, and progressively lower it over 2 - 3 weeks until you are about 40cm above the canopy. For 400w, I would run 2 plants. You can run more obviously, but that would be my preference.
  8. Yeah, I agree something is up with her. Hope she comes right for you soon bud.
  9. UPDATE Day 9 of 12/12 I see some light (as in bright lights) damage on some leaves. So I raised the HPS. Other than that, everything still looking good. They have grown quite a bit in these last 3 days. Last 2 pics are both of the more indica leaning Lemon OG Kush.
  10. Thanks Dab! Only training I will do from here on out will be a fairly moderate/heavy defol in about 2 weeks. Then I will stake the the main colas and let them finish up. I'm hoping to get 600g, but let's see. Last round I got 520g from 6 plants but this time round I have more light. So I should be able to squeeze another 80g out of them. Hopefully...
  11. Thanks GLO. Never thought of hanging it from the top. Not sure why if I think about it. LOL! Will still need a smaller fan though. The current one can't be removed from the base.
  12. Thank you Toby! That is just one of those fans that can mist and has a couple of other functions. The other fan I had in there was massive, so had to remove it. Even this one is taking up too much space. In a week, I will have to remove it as well and try and get my hands on a smaller fan I can mount on to one of the poles.
  13. UPDATE Day 6 of 12/12 Everything still going smoothly. I've noticed some rust spots here and there, but nothing to worry about. Seems to happen every time when plants start blooming. As long as the plant itself is healthy, I don't mind seeing a leaf here and there with a few spots on them. Noticed a few small pistils on some of the plants. Also, the stretch is now on. Can see a difference in size in just 12 hours. Hoping they get to about 80 - 90cm. Haven't measured them, but they are currently at about 55cm. They are wider than they are tall though, and getting wider by the day. The first row of plants are the Lemons. Notice how they've gown? I think they will be big. They have that nice branchy, open structure. Second pic is of my favourite Blue Venom. She is a beauty queen. Could be one of the prettiest plants I've ever grown. Took a shitty photo though, so I didn't manage to capture her in all her glory. Will take her out of the tent soon for better photos.
  14. I see you know me well GLO. LOL!! Will definitely be getting another timer this weekend. Can't afford to let that happen again. I almost left the tent open this morning as well. Not sure what's going on with me lately.
  15. UPDATE Day 4 of 12/12 I fucked up and left the LED lights on all day yesterday. So they didn't get their 12 hours of dark. They seem to have just powered on. I'm hoping nothing comes of it other than stalling them a little. The 2 Lemon OG Kushes are playing catch up nicely.
  16. Thank you Sir! Let's hope they stay that way, although I'm positive they will. Let the stretch begin!
  17. Doesn't even look like they're fading yet. Beautiful frosty buds.
  18. UPDATE Day 2 of 12/12 I'm very happy with these girls. Also very relieved that they coped just fine in my absence. Beautiful tops on this Blue Venom
  19. Nah, I have zero experience with making concentrates and I also want to keep my tolerance level as low as I can for as long as I can. I still get pretty blazed from a few good rips of the bong.
  20. Thanks Toby! It's going to get interesting now.
  21. UPDATE Day 44 and day 37 for the lemons Plants are going to get 8 hours of darkness today and then 12/12 will begin tomorrow.
  22. Ok, you make a good point. My thinking was to ease them into the light by letting them grow into it. Using wife's phone to get lux reading is a great idea. I'm quite curious to see what it's at now. I'm actually going to be switching them off for a few days, as we are away, and I don't have them on a timer. Tonight I will measure the lux, and then post here.
