GreenGrow Garden Route

Evening growmies... So.. as most of you know.. I've started a few of these threads about net house grows and So forth but never could actually finish it off due to unforseen circumstances and the fact that life happens and the stigma surrounding our beloved plant...

So here goes another one... and I am dead set on finishing this one... that being said, I was planning on finishing it off the week end But as I go along it keeps on evolving...

The basic Idea is to have a veggie grow box that was Inspired by a grow box I saw in one of @Ill_Evan's threads. It's a full DIY build with a limited budget and repurposed wood, roofing and netting. Most of the wood I am using to build the grow box was traded with FF Soil, Clones and some extra bud.

Then the plan is to have a Aqua Ponics area and ofcoarse some space for my girls... wich will mostly consist of Totemic Ginetics and the Mini Lemon Gorilla Og breeding project I have going.. 

This is just a rough sketch of the Greenhouse / Nethouse plan..

Most of the wood is really old and repurposed. I treat it with old engine oil and it gives the wood a very nice look and it treats the wood and protects it against water damage. The great thing is it's free..

This is the box of IlEvan that inspired my grow box..

What I did not take into consideration when planing mine, was the shear amount of soil I will need to fill it... But one thing at a time... I'll go to the mountains and get some...

This is the area and in total wil be around 40sqm of wich a 3x3 will be roofed and enclosed as a semi greenhouse wich I hope will work for winter grows.

The one side of the box will consist of cupboards to store soil, nutrients and pots.

Below the progress on the actual grow area. Some of the wood traded was used to make poles. They were planted 600 deep with a concrete collar. The net part of the grow area will be done with wire and then covered with shade netting..

My biggest concern at the moment is position of the sun in winter.. But we will see..

Below some repurposed wood and will be used as decoration  later on..

So the companion plants turned into far more than just companion plants.. I have to get my grow space ready to host all these new seedlings and Vegelings..

So.. the Cabbage Patch Doll turned out to be male.. and Twin Towers is a female Yay...  The newcomers are catching up but most of them seem a bit retarded..

Afternoon bud.. Wow.. they look awesome.. Healthy and happy.. That's how a outdoor grow should look like...

My preferred method is into paper towel in a tin on top of the decoder for 24hrs.. Any that have not germinated after 24 HRS do within 12 hrs afterwards.. Into Jiffies.. show face a day later and then into FF Premium Classic.. My last six beans I did the tot glass.. split in 24hrs... 2 weeks later... nothing... Never really had success with this method.. 

Just remember less is more with Autos.. I've burnt my fingers...

This pic just make it seems assif they stretched quite a bit.. The angle makes it look hectic..

But they look awesome..

The new seedlings are coming along nicely.. Have some indoors and some outdoors.. Interesting to see the difference in development..

Nice man.. I'm glad I got me some early and should be sorted for my winter grow and the start to next season. Thnx for your contribution of sure . I do not think I would order any International Beans again. What's the use when breeders like yourself use them in their breeding projects locally. At least we are sure that the genes can cope with our local climate after you have worked with them and what I have sampled, potency is definately not lacking.. Thnx again bud and keep up the good work.. Looking forward to the next drop... Please just bring back the Bubble Berry Glue... That baby's my favourite so far...
