Coming along nicely.
Ww3 and SD are well and 2 weeks in.
Dark ride same age also coming nicely.
Planted some companion plants as distraction for the bugs.
Feeding biobizz bioheaven at 2ml/l.
Struggling to find local stock of 250ml root juice so haven't has that yet.
Little more biodyne as well and some neem oil spray over the weekend.
Started some LST and exfoliation on my pilot bag seed grow. Gonna top another and try HST him.
Have a wild fig and tonnes of fruit bats.
This is the result. Beside my house being painted on a nightly basis... any usefulness?

Another thing that's bugging me...
How does one water with nutes all the time when it wont stop raining?? Either have to keep them inside or not fertilise...

Anybody know much about Biodyne Liquid Gold?
Got hold of some to try but I cant seem to find dosage instructions online... added 1ml/l to my 2 seedlings so far...

Watching with much excitement!Definitely not abandoned. Each cross will get their own grow as space opens up. The mother of these seeds has been my favorite this year so kicking off with them first.

None of the Dark Rides on the go at the moment sir? Abandoned or shelved?

GroHydro in store. They didnt have what I wanted (small root juice) and others in stock so think they felt bad and hooked me up. Seemed like only 2/3 different vials in the bag mine came out of so dont think they will be widely available...
Keen to see what it does (not sure I could ever justify paying for it unless its magical)
Loved the service I must say. Okes were super helpful!

Move done and dusted.
President WW3 auto, FastBuds Sour Diesel auto and freebie Amnesia Haze/ Ak77V (hereinafter renamed AHK77V) all soaked and in towels 14/11
WW3 and SD popped and were in soil yesterday 15/11.
AHK77V has a tiny taproom showing will plant this afternoon!
Also popped the first of my Totemic Dark Ride F1 seeds straight into a seedling starter. More of those in the next few days.
Got a sample of biobizz bioheaven and something called Biodyne so put 1ml each into the water when I planted WW3 and SD.
Pilot grow going well.
New view
Lots of good bugs I think

Disappointing. Popping my WW3 over the weekend. Hopefully it is more successful

Is starting to flower in week 3 not pretty normal for Autos?

Happy days!

Just over 1 month into the pilot grow.
Have only fed water until now.
This soil I got from St Clements has served me very well I would say.
Starting to show signs of problems now though.
Went back to the nursery the other day for an extra bit of their homemade soil to do a transplant and got some really cheap nutrient stuff while there. 2 tubs (R120) of white powdery balletjies... one NPK and the other CaNO3 (keep mixing the C and the N up lol. -high school science was a long while ago and I was never great).
Getting brownish spots in places and some lightening of the leaves. Given a small dose of both powders to help them out.
I think this is a calcium shortage - but probably general hungriness due to being only on water diet until now.

I have wondered this myself before after learning the above. Now how does sativa/indica strains come into play?
From all that ive heard on sativa/indicas, the it doesnt sound like it means much. It all depends on when you harvest??
I'm sure having the right strain for the situation exacerbates the effects like...
A late harvested indica becomes even more sleepy like.
I dunno...

My bad dude. I was reading a different reply of his. He did indeed say he wasnt in favour of airpots in the reply you quoted. I must have been higher than I thought earlierIn saying he wouldn't, he is expressing an opinion. I'm interested to understand why @PsyCLown would rather use fabric pots. I don't have a dog in the race, I'm using 30cm pots rested in a 25ltr bucket. complete opposite side of the spectrum in terms of pots. Also keen to hear his answer then because I have considered trying one out

Unless you deliver unto them a preemptive FFS with some cinnamon (if it really works) in the soil@felix2000 i can tell you why i never ended up getting the air pots. I did some research on them and found 2 deal breakers.
Some of your medium is prone to run out the holes when watering.
And the holes on the pot allow gnats easy access to wet soil. Can imagine a fungus gnat infestation in all those little holes would be near impossible to get rid of.

I will be relying on tap water unfortunately.
Bought some drops to get an idea of what is coming out of the pipes. If too high I will consider some drops or figure out a plan.

I don't think he expressed an opinion about airpots.@PsyCLown, if you don't mind me asking, why are you not in favor of airports?
Just said he preferred Plant Matter to Freedom Farms fabric bags bru.

Was a lucky find.
Newish grow shop attached (I.e. inside) the Sir Vape Kloof branch. Recognised the name (Kulture Shop) on a last ditch Google search and came right
Been meaning to update my list of shops actually...
Limited selection for now but sure they will grow.
They also stocking Bongalong paraphenalia, which would have saved me some shipping months ago

P.S. managed to find a local supplier of Plant Matter bags, yippee!

More questions if anyone would be so kind.
1) FFarms say on their site that the classic shouldnt be used for germinating. Is this a thing? Sorta messes my plans to put seedlings straight into it if so...
2) When does one start counting the weeks for the strain? from germination or a certain point thereafter? This is mostly related to when to start feeding nutes.
3) When following Biobizz charts... Does one use the dilution they suggest in ALL waterings(i.e. only feed nuted water from then on), or simply a 4ml (for example) mixed intol 1litre water during that week.
Would imagine the 2nd but was unsure so asking...
@Prom would you be so kind as to share your amended feeding schedule when you have a moment?
Other than that... Havent moved yet so still havent planted my special seeds yet

Super neat indeed. Very very cool looking setup!30 Days From Seed
Got the girls repotted and transplanted into 20L fabric pots. The tent is looking much more occupied now with 12 plants! Feels just like it should.
I will be using three 240W Quantum Board LEDs, one for every four plants. It worked really well in the last grow so how about we just triple it
Starting off the QBs at ~120W each in the current veg stage and I like keeping them around 40cm from canopy. I find this is the sweet spot, but I always watch the plants for stress and try increasing power as we work towards the flowering stage.
I am so much more at ease with the full LED setup over the HID bulbs. It's so much less "stuff" and looks super neat. I will consider myself a full convert after the success of this grow; I haven't just yet thrown out the cool tubes and ballasts
My wife would kill me for having a tent like that
Plants coming along nicely as well!

Shot dude. Looks like they are in Fourways though not Durban. Trying to save on shipping where possible!
Searched ExploGrows posts on the forum and they referred to a dude on Instagram called C.Monsta_Budz.
Made contact and apparently he or she does sell it and will deliver. Awaiting pricing etc.

I tried phoning them earlier and they could not assist with a local stockist.
Did you ever come right here @TheUltimateNoob?

Hello dude. Welcome.
We are in pretty similar spots in our grow journeys lol.
I have also chosen to go freedom farms, biobizz and fabric bags with Autos to start.
Wrt pot size 10l seems to be preferable, while 20s will suffice and be reusable on non-autos.
I've chosen to go with 10l and figure it can always use them for baby photos at a later stage.
As for preventative measures, I believe Bioneem is the preferred solution. I think it can be used as a foliar spray to help prevent some nastiness.
Good luck and start a diary so we can keep an eye on it and help each other out.

Also... my local source of Plant matter bags has sold me 5l bags instead of 10ls.
Been in to complain once and left thinking I was wrong. Am double sure this time and going back today again. Wish me luck. What a cock up though. 10l was already on the small side. Having them in 5s instead is almost a waste of time perhaps?
Half bag of 30l FF soil left after filling 3 x "10l" pots.
Also pots inside 15l bucket. 2l coke for comparison...
