That's the thing, to me they look clear, to someone else they look milky and someone else will say theres some amber but I agree, the loupe is not really helpful here.

Sorry about that guys. Is this better? I find it extremely difficult to get a nice close up photo otherwise I will try again tonight when the wife is home. This pictures showing the 'white' trichomes is where the light of the loupe was on.

I hope everyone is still doing good. I found like 1 or 2 seeds on 2 of my plants so fairly lucky considering its an outdoor grow. Would someone be able to tell me how far along this plant is? Sorry for the quality of the picture but its difficult to take a picture and hold the loupe and hold the plant steady. The last picture is with the light of the loupe turned on. According to the breeder I should only start looking around the 15th of March. I want as little couch lock as possible.

Thanks for the advice. I thought those jars with the rubber bottom will seal properly. Will get some consol jars soon. Lastly, do I need to burp when using boveda packs as it will obviously lower the humidity when opening the jar. Thanks again for the help.

I am busy curing my first THC plant with boveda packs in the jars. The one jar has 15g of really dry bud inside but the humidity is not increasing to 62%. The jar in question is one of those small Douw Egbert coffee jars as I need to get some consol jars. Why is the humidity not increasing to 62%? Is there something else I should do besides take it out of the clear wrapping paper? The humidity currently inside the jar is at 55%. The bud was trimmed yesterday afternoon with the boveda pack inserted at the same time.

So I chopped the lemon haze on Tuesday evening but the dry room aka garage has a humidity reading of between 53% going down to 43% as the temp went up. I cant find the humidifier to increase humidity so are there any suggestions as to the way forward? Do I trim and jar or leave for longer? The extra leaves still on the bud is extremely dry, breaks finely when pressed together so not sure as to which way to go now.

Yes I saw the hairs are brown and curling in, its the trichomes Im asking about as Im not sure if its the sun that burnt them amber or if they turned amber due to being ready to harvest. If it was the sun I can leave them longer, if its due to age I would want to cut them now already so not sure how to differentiate between sun burnt and being ready to harvest.

Can the sun burn trichomes brown? My lemon haze has lots of brown/amber trichomes on the biggest buds but not sure if its from the sun or actually ready to harvest as its about 12 days early, according to the internet.

Thanks for the help. Throughout the grow I have only ever fed once a week and only started increasing it to twice since I forced the 3 into flower. I have now gone back to feed only once a week again but I reduced "Part B" and increased the MPK as indicated. I will monitor them from here on out but should they not bounce back etc I will see it as a learning curve so not all lost, can probably make hash, dab or edibles with it. Thanks again, appreciate all the help I can get.

Thanks for the assistance. I will let them dry out and take it from there. I have dialed the nutrients back as suggested earlier.

So I flushed the ladies and this is what they look like now. I fed them half of where I stopped previously on Sunday but no change yet. Not sure where to from here. Theres also no more bud development or bud size increase.

Thanks for the suggestion. Will definitely go through to them. Im actually originally from S/West but stay in the Northern suburbs now. I might even take an entire tree's bud to make dab from.

The small packet? I think you mix the entire small packet with 5L of water.

How much bud did you use to make that? I have yet to try dabbing but dont want to buy a rig just to try it once.
