Synthetic is the wrong word. There is nothing synthetic about it. Minerals or salts would be P.C .

Hi guys just a quick question. I believe neem oil can be used to control gnat populations with an IPM. Is it then suggested that you spray the top of the soil with neem oil?
You can spray the surface of the medium yes, and plant - Really is one of our favourite products for indoor and outdoor application. I just find that some genetics dont favour neem.

Hi guys,
Do any of you have tips n moving outdoor plants indoor?
I know aphids andmites coukd be a problem, so maybe i could do two things.
1. Spray them before they go into the tent and keep an eye on them and spray every 4 day to make sure no pests?
2. Or spray them once and then place some spray on the inlet fan on the filter i have. That should kill any pests that come in via the filter and thats n the tent?
My light is covered so will just need to clean and wipe the glass.
What would u guys do?

As a rule of thumb, NEVER bring outdoor plants into your indoor environment. -- IMO
If you absolutely have to, if this is the only genetic you have , Id suggest:
Spray with Pyrol at 20ml/1L underneath the leaves mainly.
Keep a Bioneem program running after that to suppress anything that made it through round 1.

Og kush
Buddha kush (fat leaves)

Kandy has a flavor like no other, i must admit. definitely one of my all time favs. just a little susceptible to pests. OG on the other hand is very resilient. These must reserva privada . - and of coarse that true cali flavour

Just saying there are plenty of other sites out there like attitude seeds, bonza seeds, herbies etc, I have never heard of seedelicious and im sure many people havent. Where as the other sites are very popular. Seems like advertising to me could be wrong, but its not the most delicious English either.
agreed, Attitude all the way unless you need to go elsewhere

will you guys be selling the range @GrowGuru
Yes we will, spoke to the distributor yesterday.
We had put this on ice for some time.
So to confirm ; GHE is coming back to the SA market place.

Good news! Thanks for the update!

I give Grow Guru 11 out of 10. There service is the best in SA hands down and they got great products to back them up. I am a fussy bastard and keep going back. I have been using them for over a year now and if they don't have something they can make a plan.
Cheers

Thanks for sharing your feedback with us! We look forward to serving you again in the near future - GG

Agreed! If the grower should find difficulty using or a problem with a product he/she should contact the distributor to raise and discuss these concerns. Rather than a forum rant that is.. I know that most shops will go out of our way to please their customers and rectify these issues... perhaps even teach you a thing or two along the way....
Hi,
Gareth from hydroponic.co.za here.
I spoke to Hortishop about the concerns raised in this post and they asked me to post this:
------------
Hi, my name is Tony from Hortishop. Whilst I am all for free speech, I cannot let GarethL’s rant about Hortishop go unchallenged.
The importer of the GH range of nutrients fell foul of our Dept of Agriculture in 2013 and could no longer import that range as it was not registered with them, so we had to find an alternative. This is the EHG range (I admit that the name is a bit naughty!), which is produced by a chemical engineer in KZN and has been extensively trialled for at least two years on his own plants.
This is completely separate to our Hortimix range of powdered nutrients, which I have been using for the past thirty years with great success. It would be easy to do as GarethL suggests and add colourant and water to our powdered range and call it something else, but this would be dishonest and something that we would never ever contemplate! If growers are having problems with the EHG nutrients, wouldn’t it be better to contact us to try and come up with a solution?
I have been informed by the importer of GH products that he has completed all the registration paperwork and is awaiting a reply from the Dept of Agriculture.
---text edited--- I would welcome a call from GarethL to discuss the matter.

They need to be screened somewhat - To ensure that the chemicals aren't harmful to indigenous or ecological life/species - does make sense...-> for example .. it would be a danger to our country if a product that came in killed bees. We are reliant on bees and if they were to vanish we would be in quite a lot a of trouble when considering our food security - The products and contents simply need to be approved. The COST is extremely high, and that is per product not per range as you would imagine.
Hope this helps
GG
Forgive my ignorance if it becomes apparent now but why would you need to conduct trials on such as well known nutrient used all over the world?
-
We are here to serve you! - Hows a little good karma for the boys at the office?
Well Grow Guru, thank you for correcting me and also shedding some light on the matter. I am glad that I have not been that far off the truth. However bringing it back to the Horti Shop people, I hope you can all see now the utter crap they try to get away with. Hydro Herp and Gro Guru, you guys keep on doing what your doing. I highly doubt you will ever see the Horti Shop on here supporting the forum. Touch Wood.
