  1. Third step of training complete! The branches have all been topped past the 4th node and now each plant has 8 specific stems to produce the canopy. On Tuesday I will be feeding from the Autopot reservoir and shortly after that I will switch on the air pump for the airdomes.

I am hoping for explosive growth from that point on and to build this canopy as fresh as possible. I will start with one lower net that will roughly be the height of the current plants now and then later on I will add another net, probably a week or two after flipping to flower. No more flops.

The goal for this run is to have as flat a canopy as possible, but also slightly bigger plants than what we have going in the Organic Tent™ but also keep the canopy thickness roughly the same. I have found that keeping a canopy of roughly 20cm thick is usually the move as you will limit the amount of tiny tiny popcorn nugs and have a little more light penetration in general for the most lower buds, but at 20cm thickness they pretty much get direct light from the LEDs.

Due to the manifold one does not get the fat queen colas as you would with growing a normal xmas tree style, so by attempting to get bigger plants I am hoping to increase the size of the buds slightly even with using the manifold technique. This is also a part of the endeavor to increase per plant yield.

Now you guys need to start making vape pens for smoking in public. Best way to engage with normal people. goofed!!

If you had an unlimited budget, which vape pen would you choose? Specifically to vape concentrate like rosin.

There are many option and I usually just scroll through vapestore.co.za when I think I have some cash to spare but then I ended up just getting the dab rig for at home use.

Hi it's me again, my new grow is doing very, well thanks for all the advice.

I would like to know what everyone does to keep their tents warm in the winter.

My tent is in the garage and I have build a iso board room around it  but the plants still get a bit cold. Their stems are turning purple.

I was thinking of getting a heater of some sort.  Something not to heavy on electricity.

Could anyone maybe recommend a heater please?

    Thank you very much.

I would recommend a panel heater that you either hang in the tent along the sidewall or build a custom stand for it, then hook it up to a wifi Sonoff switch with a temperature sensor (use extension cord if necessary) that you hang in the middle of the tent. Now you have an automated heater in your tent that keeps your temps within a specific range and you can also monitor the humidity and temperature of your tent wherever you have connection to wifi.

I found that once the panel heated up it would retain a lot of it's heat and gently let off heat once the tent temperature reached the cutoff point and only need to turn on again if the temperatures dropped too much. If the panel was on all the time, it would chow electricity. With a automated switch, it cut the power usage a lot.

  4. I bought a dab rig from The High Co and tried some of the hash pressed dab and jissis, this shit is another level neh. You dabber mense have been having this cool little party up here with this extra level of highness 😆 I'm thankful for my tolerance or I'd probably be fast asleep by now. I did over cook one shot and it fecked my nail up a bit but I managed to clean it out for the most part. I'm quite surprised at how smooth it is. Coming from a past of ripping water bongs I sort of expected it to be super harsh but a well timed heat and pull is great :investigating

I'm never throwing trim away again! 😆

  5. I have finished the second step in the training process. Today I setup the initial LST to just start flattening the canopy. Next step is to wait for 5/6 branches to develop on each stem then top after the 4th. The manifold should be roughly setup by then and I should also be running through the Autopots by then as well. Right now since transplant I have been lightly watering from the tops, no runoff. There is one plant showing a small amount of stress on one fan leaf, but that leaf will anyways be pruned when the manifold shape is completed.

  6. Recently finished The Witcher 3 and Red Dead Redemption 2, what a long ass games they were 😆 then started Horizon Zero Dawn, think I'm like halfway but got bored. I'll finish it eventually. I try not to buy games when I'm busy with one or two but Steam specials get so good sometimes that I just have to buy. One of those games was The Outer Worlds which I have been playing the most at the moment, but I'm reaching that same boredom point.

The most hours I've clocked on games is usually on indie games such as Oxygen Not Included and Rimworld, but I've deleted these games because they don't really have endings and are more sandbox games that just suck hours away from your day, so I felt I needed to stop.

I used to mine Bitcoin when it was profitable but now I just have a balling gaming PC, so win-win I guess. Would be cool if my crypto wallet weren't so in the dumps. To the moon?

  7. Observe, the results of pressing hash collected from the trim of my most recent harvests. This is the first time I have ever had dab in my possession, and this shit looks fine as hell.

Too bad I don't have a dab rig! Can anyone recommend a place to get myself setup?

  8. The big tent is geared and ready to go 👀

Eight ZxP at the beginning of their veg journey. I want the plants to get settled for a few days after transplant before I begin training.

This run will potentially be how I might continue to grow concurrently and a method I will try to perfect as I also try to perfect my selected strains harvest after harvest. If anything in future, I see myself upgrading the LEDs at a time that this current set have run their course and the next generation finds itself on our shelves, whenever that may be.

The plan will be to top all the plants and again run a manifold grow style similar to that of the Organic Tent™. I am hoping that the Autopots and airdomes will provide vigorous growth during veg and make the training less time consuming. I will use two layers of nets this time, the first layer to help spread the initial manifold growth and then another layer to keep the colas evenly spread at the canopy level.

A single layer net in the Organic Tent™ was only just enough but the canopy size is not too deep, so the branches managed to hold up relatively well on their own. I would like to get slightly bigger plants going in the big tent so the additional net layer will be a must.

  9. Wedding Cake weigh-in!

Between the 6 WC plants I managed to harvest a total of 215g 😁

This WC bud smells super good. Sweet vanilla with a hint of that powerful weed diesel smell. Still a little hint of chlorophyll so the cure must continue! I have found that a minimum of two months cure is the sweet spot for an impatient smoker 😝 luckily I have a good supply now so I can practice patience a bit with the curing!

oh hey, I just realised hahahah it's because whenever theres a Win for the cannabis industry the people behind the information have to push real hard to get it out there while the losses and negative information gets rubbed in everyones faces..... almost like they trying to paint "dagga" as this evil plant...... same like they been doing for over a 1000 years...... now why would that be? hmmmmm 🤓

We should start a list of publications that routinely post articles "dagga lab busts" that never actually end with a conviction, and one day when the laws are written and cannabis is widely accepted, we can call on these publications for their shit behaviour.

It's a bitter sweet ending, and standing at that cross roads having to decide which direction is going to best serve the next decade of my life...
Totemic was really never meant to become a brand, but kind of gravitated that way.

It's always been about actively opposing those laws that would criminalize me for growing, breeding, and sharing that with the community.

My genetics is out there in practically every corner of the country, serving their purpose beautifully, and will echo in other strains they inspire.

It really has been an awesome journey, and while I move onto other things, I'll always be growing.

Blessings and salutations sir. Please do let us know of any endeavors you might have in future so that we may continue to support you in any way we can.
