I ended up putting this plant outside and started over as it showed problems again. Now have the same clone in ff classic and it's doing great

Urgh what a bummer, I will keep a bag, run two clones outside in a side by side and post some pics. Def not taking the chance indoor after reading this thread.

I started watering more often as this soil doesn't hold water as I'm used to with freedom farm I also increase the nutrients and feeding it at 5.8ph now

She is looking a lot better I might be able to save her in time for flip

That really sucks man, but I glad that they are recovering!
I just picked up some of this growing medium today 🤦‍♂️  I should just stick to FF, why do I keep on doing this! 😂

    That's right @PsyCLown

I make it up, buying from the manufacturer my amendments to add to my basic non fertilized soil in packet, coco, perlite, etc.

Never turning it, thus not harming the layers built, and no need to fluff, my soil falls apart like cheap cottage cheese and is rich brown black like chocolate cake.

Your feed the soil and not the plant, so this way you shouldn't need to flush anything as the plant took what it needed and wasn't told to use this amount, or a readily available source of nutrients, so it doesn't have excess anything.

You can do teas, which are feeding these Microbes and teaming with them too, and I have a special tea that I'm thinking of making up, but it needs to be fresh, as still healthy with Microbes and not aged. We dont get good teas here and as mentioned it must be fresh made, or wasting your time essentially, so out the question to import it.

I do pH, but with natural goodies only.

    Puff puff pass.

@StickyD420 Some good info, thanks for sharing. I working towards a no till bed as it seems cheaper and less work in the long term. I find water source and ph to be my biggest issues. What natural goodies do you use to PH?

Ive seen some guys apply the Tea from  https://organicraft.co.za/  with good results

@Ill_Evan Definitely want to try some mainlining at some point, thanks for posting. Keen to see what you think of the Royal Gorilla

  4. I only wash if I had pest issues or PM. In my experience there is definitely a loss of terps after washing bud. In terms of trichomes, I have no idea and no way to really test that. Ive found that it tastes cleaner, but loses flavour if that makes sense.

  5. I knew I wasnt alone!  I also spend way too much time in the grow room. When I started off I kept on dialing things in and I thought that in time as things get sorted I would spend less time there, but I must be honest it increases. Oh yeah and then I got a greenhouse, I am surprised my wife is still here 😛

  6. Lemon juice you buy at checkers of pnp, cheapest, most effective organic way. Been using that for about 2 years now. It does make your ph dive quick tho so be careful with the amount

I also bought some fast buds autos this year. Six Shooter and G14. Can't wait to get the autos started outside, I decided to run al my photo periods inside and run only autos outside this year. Can't wait for the outdoor season to start man! Good luck with your grow

  8. I use tap water, I know a lot of others do too. I have a meter though. I bring mine from 8 to 5.5.
What do you use to bring the PH down? I am trying to find something better than vinegar (I grow in organic soil) tap water here is 8 out of the tap. I struggle to get it down to 6 using vinegar. GH PH down works, but not good for microbes.

I have also tried a grow in the beginning using normal potting soil and it went terrible, had to amend the medium and add so much to it that buying some FF soil was a better option, haven't looked back since
