LOL then adjusting back and going too far again... Lol fun times... Iv learnt to pH my water before adding nutes to avoid unnecessary resdumps with fresh nutes..

Also... The salts in the water from the nutes and pH up and down can be softened if you let your nute solution stand for a day... I wouldn't recommend this with organic nutes... But if it's just the salts I would let it sit a day before adding or using... But if you have regular inoculations you shouldn't have an issue... Keep them up... If you stop the effects will be bad on the micro herd

I rate any salts are bad for your micro herd... well from what I've heard... but this year i'm doing a 1 on 1 test to experiment 😁 definitely gonna log it here..

It's a smallish amount though, once diluted in the water is it really going to cause a lot of harm to the microbes though?

Not as if it's going directly into the concentrated pH up / down solution though. Also I always avoid using too much of it - like overdoing the pH down and then using pH up to bring it back up etc.

I'd rather toss out the mixture and redo it if I mess up like that.

Lol ,inorganic grows(coco/perlite) I dealt with ph up/down allot and to test ph with the drops after ,only to find out you added to much of either ... hectic times.

Not actually sure how much truth is behind this. I PH my water with pH Up / Down as I had massive without without doing so - ended up with some pH lockout.

I have done microbe inoculations with EM Pro soil, also I use trichoderma and mycorhizzal fungi as well as some other fugcal insecticides and such... Whether it is all in vain due to the PH up / down, I am not sure but I don't think so.

Potassium hydroxide- is an inorganic compound (ph up)
phosporic acid- a corrosive inorganic acid. (ph down)

I guess it depends on what u use to adjust your ph..? @Green Leaf Organics

They have a sale on, at the moment.  I picked up a bunch of Vero29s for $15 and some Citizen 1212 Royal Blues/Ambers for $12.

    Shipping was pretty fast.

They're likely trying to get rid of their Citizen 1212 and Vero29 stock.  Citizen 1212 is probably the weakest brand-name COB on the market.

Vero29 is a solid COB though.  Better than Cree CXB3590 in all my testing.

But Bridgelux has improved efficiency of their latest gen 7 COBs by 6%, so maybe they're trying to get rid of the older ones.

Thanks for the input man what shipping did you use ? if i may ask? and why the  Citizen 1212 Royal Blues if they're such a weak brand name? seen some hectic results with the  citizen clu048's

  5. I'm assuming you moved her outdoors ... Look at it this way, if you get kicked out of your house and have to live on the streets with no shelter you'd have looked the same as your plant right now. Plant has to adapt to his/her environment. Plant was probably not use to UV/IR.🥴 oh and freezing weather.

  6. Good day fellow 420sa members.

I'd just like to find out if anyone has ordered from RapidLeds ? and used USPS Shipping (SUPER EXPENSIVE)? if so how long did it take to get here. And why are their prices so cheap compared to digikey? Also would fedex be a better option (I'll have to sell my kidney to afford fedex though...)

  7. Gratz on the bargain 😁 I'd look into jamiesgarden soil amendments less trouble compared to full on hydro. I have not personally tried it but I've heard only good things about his soil. and will definitely build my next medium with his organic additives.
