  1. So today we have 3/6 with roots protruding from the rockwool woot, none look like they dying yet! Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  2. Hi, So this this is cloning attempt no 3. Followed this guide: https://www.growbarato.net/blog/en/cloning-cannabis-rockwool-jiffy-pellets/ Used Dyna Root no: 2 with Aloe as gel Taken 2x3 cuttings from both my Rooibaard (sativa) ladies (1 in soil and 1 in coco/perlite). The ladies: Cuttings: into Dome (cupcake tray from westpack R80 with some holes and plastic lids ): Day 8: Day 9 ( first root.. yay!):
  3. Hi, So I kinda skipped the first intro I am killerx severe ADHD with some OCD and... I do everything from brewing beer, distilling spirits, making whiskey/whisky/bourbons etc, this is my 3rd grow moving from organic soil to coco/perlite 60/40 with water adjusted horticulture mix nutes, growing inside perspex domed greenhouse, wireless auto drip feeding pump system, using mostly sun light, boosting with CFL and Cool White LED. First time growing Auto Flower: Onyx and Alien OG Have some Rooibaard Ladies in veg, revenge of the clones! I don't like smoking, medicating either extract or edibles! asthma.... *cof *cof
  4. I agree, probably not worth trying to save it at this point, the red stem is generally a tell that the plant is in disstress, environment or pH problems. Not alot of leaves on it even if you gave it more light.. Get good genetics, strong plants and start again, with a good auto you can be harvesting in 3 months To compare, this plant was planted mid October, in this photo it was not even 3 months old. 5. I agree, maybe try adding some foliar feeds of something like kelpak and see if it doesnt boost them Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  6. awesome, I was wondering if the 18ppm would yield any results, was actually busy getting 45ppm made for me. 1oz of silver plate if about R310 @ http://www.sasilver.co.za/1-oz-sunshine-mint-silver-bar/ that will last you a very long time making your own CS, which is really easy The 18ppm spray is available at most Dischems or online from: https://www.faithful-to-nature.co.za/silverlab-liquid-spray?li_source=LI&li_medium=related-products
  7. its quite difficult to say for sure, looks like the leaves are curling on to themselves slightly which could indicate a bit of over watering with the coco coir/perlite, I wait until the top layer if dryish, if I press it between my fingers very little moisture should be left overwatering can also cause nutrition issues, as the roots wont absorb the nutrients effectively also when you are feeding, are you getting sufficient run off?
  8. pics a bit fuzzy, but looking at the leaves, it appears to be affecting the lower leaves more, i would say it could be a nute issue rather than heat, heat would affect all the leaves or the top leaves more I would flush, and start feeding every 2nd day, my 1 sativa is very sensitive to the nutes had to dial the feeding way down
  9. looks a bit early for me, probably a couple more weeks, the pistils havent retracted yet and there are still plenty white pistils. i'd recommend getting a loupe or scope to check out the trichome color, also the leaves still looks very lush and green
  10. Nice, seeds looks nice and healthy.. Now the wait to see if they male or female and whether they sativa or indica dominant! Makes me want to plant some random seeds [emoji1787] Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  11. Hi, welcome Jacques What are you growing? autos, photo, bag seeds?
  12. Reaper you need some better strains ex-paranoia
  13. im sure this will pick up speed as more growers join, i'm a bit torn on the topic though.. considering not having too many plants on prem, you might not have anything to enter at a specific time, depends on how you stagger your grows, if you doing autos vs photo, seeds or clones etc. maybe there should be 2 different POTM categories or something..
  14. I have been doing a lot of research and making a list of local seed sources, combination of internet as well as some business card picked up from the expo. Personally I have only bought from green smoke room a couple of times, the experience has been awesome, fast delivery, well packaged and almost always a freebie. they have local SA stock as well as international https://www.greensmokeroomseeds.com https://heroseeds.co.za/ https://pachamamaseeds.co.za/ https://www.trophyseeds.com https://biltongandbudz.co.za/ https://dankmountain.co.za/ https://wakenbake.co.za/ https://sacredseeds.co.za/ https://africansmoke.co.za/store/Sensible-Seeds-c31304393 https://africansmoke.co.za/store/ETHOS-Genetics-c32172252 https://www.capeapeseeds.com/ https://cannabisclub.africa/listings
