  1. When I use FF Premium I only use that and water, after a few weeks if I start seeing a difference in the plant I ( lots of "I's [emoji23]) top dress with molasses and/or worm casting, just a little and no synt nutes. Before flower il repot to bigger pots and use 50/50 coco perlight and then slowly start with low EC. Doing my 1st run with FF Custom Crafted soil and only water, no NOTHING added and I have so much more free time and plants looks way better. Sent from my F5321 using Tapatalk
  2. Hey, let's give it a shot 1- Banana Kosher Kush 29 days 2-Green Crack 29 days ....upload fails [emoji848] Sent from my F5321 using Tapatalk
  3. I have been using FF premium for a while with cuttings and only water with plain water for a few weeks and if needed I ad , as mentioned above, castings or compost on top. What medium are you going to repot it in? Sent from my F5321 using Tapatalk
  4. Soo manage to get low temps up to 22,5 and it looks like that's just for a few minutes when lights go of at 8 in the morning and then it stabilizes at 24-25, that should be fine. There was a bit of new growth and not sure if it's the temps or the PH adjustment, [emoji23] I usually change more than one thing and then don't know what helped..... Let's give it a week and see. 5. On the soil side it looks like no correction is needed in general, on FF website they do advise to try and keep in a bracket, luckily the difference is much more than with nutes and coco. Adjusted the exhaust fan to only come on when it's above 28 and the intake fan will be working the whole time and heater will come on when it goes down to 24. We will know tomorrow if it helped during the night. [emoji2936] Sent from my F5321 using Tapatalk
  6. Thx guys [emoji120], only thing that changed if I go back in time is that split my veg room in two, and the cooler temps the last few weeks, they used to be under a 300w led and now under 170 w. Mostly been using the FF Classic and rainwater after clones rooted and never had a problem before and never adjusted water either. Going to change the airflow and will see from there [emoji3577] Sent from my F5321 using Tapatalk
  7. Hi guys, I learned alot on @420SA the past year and just love the idea that it's local. I'm not sure if it's PH or temps but growth is not happening. Growing in soil ( 1st time and loving it) and much to learn still. My temps range fron 20-30 in veg room and I think it's the low side of the temps that can cause the purple, so the rain water is PH 7-7,1 and I brought it down to 6,3. My in-line fan is on permanently so I thing when lights are of the heater can't keep up with the air being sucked through the room, but il connect the fan to the digital temperature thing tomorrow. All went well till 3 weeks ago. Any advise fellow growers? Sent from my F5321 using Tapatalk
  8. I agree, so many ways to do this. Now Jane, your turn to steer us in your direction and we can suggest further. Sent from my F5321 using Tapatalk
  9. Hi Jane Welcome! Lots of help here and I will start with my 5cents. That's just over 11sg/m and to start of you will need 4000 + true Watts, but if you use half of the space to grow and the rest just to keep all your grow nessesities it will help with the start up budget. Winter can be a bitch to maintain temps at a avg of 25 degrees if it's a outside building/shed, if so you need to insulate to keep the heat you paying for inside as best you can. If you veg loooong you can have 10-12 plants but you can put up to 20 x 25L pots easily in there and can manage plants better. All depends what the end products destiny is.
  10. Jip that sums it up well Sent from my F5321 using Tapatalk
  11. If they are outside they will start flowering at this time of the year with the sun at under 13hr a day regardless what tipe of plant it is. Flowering takes a minimum of 8 week dependent on strain but usually round about 10-12 weeks, sometimes more. Sent from my F5321 using Tapatalk
  12. Oeps no pics, here they come Sent from my F5321 using Tapatalk
  13. Here we are week 9,5, girls did ok. Dropped the 3 GWS lower so intensity of light drops and hopefully helps them mature a little quicker, I also changed light cycle to 10/14 about 5 days ago and started flushing with a low EC and then no EC. DP and AT has good colas. I'm hoping for avg yield of 90-100g per pot. Veg plants ready for next run. Sent from my F5321 using Tapatalk

  16. Hey guys, besides that it's two different strains and I'm feeding them the same the one's leaves is more yellow and the second pic she has these knobs that looks like seedpots but nothing hard in it [emoji2368] Sent from my F5321 using Tapatalk

  19. After I put a 3cm Leca layer on top of the coco my humidity went down, seems like Leca is also a insulater that helps the coco stay cooler that prevents evaporation. Also the airsirculation doesn't dry out the top layer of coco that sucks moist from below up again. [emoji2368], does it make sense Sent from my F5321 using Tapatalk
  20. Evening [emoji561] Week 7,5 and Girls pumping. High temp but it is what it is and we adapt. DP getting fat, AT catching up slowly and the GWS not as previous grow but ok. Velvet is rock hard already, she always amazes me and nice colour. New seeds popped today and some cutting drooping abit after weekend transplant and heat most probable, will see after the weekend how the settled in. Gave flowering room a Phyta feeding of 2,7 EC the week and they all survived and just a few nute burn leaves Sent from my F5321 using Tapatalk
  21. I bought my QB320's from growopz and I'm supper happy, I avg 1,2g/watt and can do much better, like someone mentioned its all up to the grower. 2 X QB320's will be more than enough for 1,5x1,5 but I think they have a QB440 that should cover that also. I don't know where to start looking to DIY so decides to safe up and buy. Sent from my F5321 using Tapatalk
  22. Maybe it does do something, I think 90-95% of how to get the best budz can be read up and then the trail and error to get the experience... But it's that lady 5-10% that we are looking for that interest us [emoji16] Sent from my F5321 using Tapatalk
  23. I had 12 plants to feed and fed up them weeks 6-8. Sent from my F5321 using Tapatalk
  24. Quick middle week 6 update [emoji102], girls looking ok and lights on for a hour now, temps high/low last 24ht is 23-33 and humidity 65-48. PM didn't come back yet so that's VERY good news. Sent from my F5321 using Tapatalk
