Bout it for those who don't know me..... 420SA[/member] or Josh Stoned[/member] Since I'm not in a box and because trying to follow what's going on when I don't even know half the time in my own journal can we please rename it to " The Pasture " as that's all I can think of and feels like a pasture with plants everywhere....... Grannys Balls - local strain x3 OGK/dinafem - just transplanted and looks shite so no pic today Banana Twins - red leaf rust not the fungal kind I know it's deficiencie related so feeding with barley sprout tea to see what effect that will have, like I said learning is fun..... 14. Good evening Brother and a blessed one to you and yours......
  15. Evening there CLD, you can soak in water for 24 hours and then into soil or into paper towel till you see a tap root then into soil it depends on which you are most comfortable with, myself I do the soak and into soil thing or paper towels first depends on my mood....haha
  16. You are def not wasting any of this spring weather mr.420sa looking real healthy I have to say, going to be nice watching this unfold.....
  17. Top of the morning Chrislovesdagga[/member] I trust this finds you well brother. Let's see if I can help out with some of those .. Mainline - is all about symmetry and getting all the colas same amount of nutrients so they can grow to an even height. Flux - is very similiar to above but I personally think it's a more refined method of a mainline . If you think of a wooden skeleton frame of a ships rib cage that is what a flux resembles once chopped... Now at the main 2 growth points on flux it's for a continuous nutrient flow to all arms that will end up being your main colas....as long as you keep the 2 growth points slightly higher than the rest of your tops to keep that continuity of flow working... LST - is Low Stress Training where you bend the branch with breaking it into a more pliable condition by rolling it gently between your fingers or gently bending over your finger. Then you can attach pipe cleaners or plant ties to the branches you want to keep trained in order to achieve your target... HST - is similiar to above but predominantly used outdoors as it involves less labor and materials needed, also only recommended during veg.. SCROG - ( Screen of Green ) similiar to lst except you use a screen/netting to create your canopy instead of lst so you wait for your plant to grow into your screen, then you essentially weave the branches under/between netting to create your level canopy and this lends to a sturdy support base for your colas.... SOG - ( Sea of Green ) so what you are doing here is creating an even canopy of colas but this method is done in small pots mainly as you are only mainly aiming for a single cola I believe but I might be mistaken... Topping - Topping is a simple ( HST ) method requiring little tools a pair of trimmer snips or scissors even your fingernails will do the trick. The goal is to remove the top of the plant, which will result in the top buds turning into 2 new branches, additionally it sends a shock to the rest of the plant that promotes growth in the lower branches... FIM - ( fuck I missed ) Now this is a more complicated version of topping, FIM involves removing a very specific amount of the top portion of the plant. By scoping out only the top most region of the new growth, the goal is to produce four-off shooting branches instead of two. Because of the complexity, this method takes significantly more time. Super Cropping - Stem mutilation is a more aggressive version of LST. Instead of tying down the top you're bending the branch until the fibers in the stem break and it folds over. The goal is not to snap the branch or even tear the skin of the stalk. To best do this , find the location you wish to break the branch and begin to roll and squeeze the stem. You will be able to feel it weaken and break down, and it will eventually be able to fall over. This method will give the rest of the plant more exposure to light and time to catch up to this top stalk. I've include a pic explaining the difference between topping and fimming.. I hope this helps you out brother and feel free to ask questions for you are uncertain..
  18. I know you don't want to grow same strain but I'm sure you can trade and barter as its happening everywhere now..

  21. Good morning guys... I joined a comparative grow on another forum cpl months ago when Dutch Passion was sponsoring a Brooklyn Sunrise and BlueDreamatic auto seed giveaway to anyone who wanted to partake..... Well the comparative grows are almost over and my seeds only just arrived a cpl weeks ago.....haha But what's been interesting is the guys have grown in all mediums from soil to hydro dwc you name it.. You can clone autos but because your clone is only as old as the mother auto your growth and yield is affected so 9/10 times that clone looks like a sucker on a stick if that makes sense just a nug on top and a side branch if you lucky.... But you can tops/train lst cropping most of the same techniques we would use on a photoperiod strain but because of an autos growth pattern you have a small window within which you can top the plant and then train lst or otherwise... I believe the window is between 18-21 days old for topping but I will find the info for you before the day is out for those interested.... The reason I became interested in autos is my sis-Inlaw has Crohn's disease and Dinafem has a pure cbd auto basically called " Dinamed " which is 0.1-0.5 thc and 10-14% cbd which is perfect for Crohn's due to its medical properties.. So after doing some research I found a regular auto cannabis strain called " Kush van Stitch " which means you can collect pollen from the male auto and use on the fem auto so that's what I was thinking is crossing the 2 to get the best out of both strains..... I know there's a lot more to it crossing strains than just pollen chucking but this is the base I'd like to start with........ Then I can also pollinate the other auto strains I have which is NL/BB auto fem WW auto fem AK47 auto fem Brooklyn Sunrise auto fem BlueDreamatic auto fem Kush van Stich regular autos Dr.Shiva super auto fem Kush auto fem Have a great day guys....
  22. I used to run a coffee shop ( Cafe' Nero ) in the uk, from what I understand it's about the the mixture which is water/ethanol mix which they are pressurizing through the group head espresso style and the heat of mixture coming through the coffee handle/group head is decarbing the canna-material and leaving you with the end product. But that is only what I think....
  23. Growing buckwheat in the garden Pat...?
