  1. I wish I stayed on a large property. Sadly I'm stuck in suburbia.

It is a great strain. A lot of work has gone into this lines parents by Sannie, and a line worth working further as I am.

There are so many small pheno variations with slightly different terpene profiles, yet all the buds are characteristic rock hard little balls for buds. Not a massive yielder because of this trait, but some really strong, sit you right down kind of bud.

  2. Dont feel bad man. Hermies are part of the territory, and happens to all growers.

You would be surprised how good that bud still will be after proper curing. That will also get you a ton of oil hey.

Swazi landrace takes anything from 4-6 months to finish.

The only thing to do is watch the pistils. Once most of them have browned,  the calyxes will start swelling. Only start checking trichomes once this swelling (Senescence) has reached the top of the buds.

If you dont have a loupe, get one.

On a landrace you should be aiming for mostly amber.

  4. See the pm I sent you.  Just stick to the ratio, and add accordingly until you get to the ec you want.

I will add though, that an ec of 1.8-2.0 is very high IMO. I hardly push the ec over 1.6 ever, and I get happier plants. Remember the plant will only take up what it needs, and trying to supercharge the res, won't make the plant perform better than it's genetic potential.

  5. THanks.

Yeah, I have an extensive veggie garden of about 200squares. Cannabis is one of my staples, just like all the other veg I grow for consumption.

The pallet of greens that a veggie garden has is lekker camouflage. My plants aren't necessarily hidden, but simply blend into the background.

  6. 420,

I think all lady bugs are predators, but the most active is the normal red and black one's.  I've seen a lot of white and black one's too, but they are a smaller species.

  7. Now is a good time to get in under them and do some cleaning up. Removing those little branches that don't get any sun etc.  Get a bit more air flowing and a bit more penetration. Also helps a lot with a hermie issue. Often those lower branches are the culprits.

  8. I use the nutriplex range now, and I have also noticed low ppm readings. I have however resisted pushing the ppm, and have stuck to the provided schedule, and it's working great. At full strength Veg feeding I get 650ppm, and I'm not expecting it to go over 1200ppm in flower.

I also go more by what the plant is telling me, and even with these low ppm readings, the plants are growing and responding real well. Much better than pushing normal AB + MPK nutes at high ppm's.
