    Welcome Alexsis!
  2. I'm pleased to announce we have a new mod with us! JustinHemp420[/member] has been active with us for a while now. He's been putting out some great grows, knows his shit and is always willing to help other members. A man definitely worthy of moderatorship (likely not a word) Thanks for joining the mods bud
  3. Hi Hochymama[/member] The best option for that right now is using a 3rd party image service like imgur and embedding the images in your posts. That way you can label images and type on top of or underneath them. Another option to embed images might be a little complicated but actually isn't really and is a bit faster IMO. It will mean that you have to submit the post with your attachments and then go back and edit, here's what you have to do: [*]Type out the post and attach the images you need to [*]Submit the post [*]Go to the new post and right click on the attachment image you'd like to embed in your post, then click on Copy Image Address (Chrome) [*]Then choose to modify your post [*]Place the cursor where you want to embed your image and then click on the Insert Image icon. Inside the URL box paste the image address you just copied, resize if you want to and click Insert [*]You should see your image show up inside the post. It will however still be displayed in the attachment list as well There will be a simpler solution to this issue in the future but right now the above are the only 2 options

  6. Would love to get our comps going again but unfortunately no one has approached us this year so far On that note we can run the comps for badges only in the mean time. Let me know if you guys would be keen
  7. Lol the option to see your sent messages was always there. Finding it was the difficult part, hopefully that's resolved now
  8. Welcome ZuluLaunch[/member] Sharing grows and such on FB is always going to come with a fairly large risk, with the current laws, especially when posting under your real name. What recent revelations on FB are you referring to?
  9. Just a heads up to let you guys know that the menu for the messages has been simplified
  10. Everything seems ok this side Hein[/member] Would you be able to screenshot the error?
  11. All ye Cape and Jozi folk better get your activist boots out on the 5th of May Who's going???
  12. This topic has been moved to the Pest Control board
  13. A new local show is on it's way. Glad to see more development
  14. For the first 10-14 days after cloning all those clones would have had all their energy focused on root production. Only after they establish a root system will they continue with normal growth. Give them more time and they will show sex but you'd be better off getting them in pots soon depending on the current root development. Show us some pics and we'll tell you if its time to pot
  15. Definitely lower that PH to between 5.5 and 6 as Jimmy said, can see a lockout going on there. Bit of mag def and N def
  16. Hochymama[/member] this topic has been moved under the Grow Diaries board
  17. Welcome Rolling_420 Enjoy your stay. We're all supporting the same cause here, thanks for joining
  18. I'd be cautious to give such advice. Yes there may be cost effective ways but they won't be the most effective ways. Saving a few rands to have a 70% success rate rather than a 90% success rate seems silly to me, especially with cloning. Cloning in a glass of water poses too many risks for weed, yes you can do it with other plants and herbs but cannabis doesn't take too well to it. I'm sure many would agree with me. If I'm not mistaken coco peat is cheaper than peat moss in bulk anyway. At the end of the day, jiffy pellets or rockwool cubes are the best options...
  19. Jimmy-z[/member] just read that it apparently holds too much water for cloning... could lead to stem rot I'm sure it could work but to cut any risk out of it, I'd go with the 2 most commonly used substrates because they've been proven to work the most effectively.
  20. I've read that peat moss isn't good for cloning. I can't remember why but my guess would be its ability to keep a stable PH or something along those lines. It's best to use a totally inert substrate like coco peat(contained in jiffy pellets) or rockwool cubes for cloning
