UPDATE

Day 41 of 12/12 and 31 of bloom.

3 of the plants have moved into the next stage of flowering. Some of the pistils are turning, and you can see the buds are not quite as fluffy anymore. Strangely, The Freak is still all white while her smaller LC-OG sibling has turned the corner. So this large lass is going to flower a little longer and get that much bigger. The plant with the shortest flowering time will be the bigger Blue Venom.

Anyway, on to the pics. The last 5 photos are all of the bigger LC-OG aka The Freak. These photos don't do her justice. She is stacking monster buds!

UPDATE

Day 44 of 12/12 and 34 of bloom.

Ok, so the larger blue venom is definitely in the last stages of flower. The smaller one is also ripening, but is about 4 or 5 days behind it's bigger sister. So a very fast flowering strain it seems. I'm disappointed. The buds on these 2 are the smallest in the tent, and they only have about 2 weeks left by the looks of things. They should swell nicely in those 2 weeks, but will still be low yielding. I'm hoping I'm wrong of course.

The Freak hasn't put on much bulk over the last 3 days. Instead, the 2 Lemons have almost caught up. They have really been packing it on. It's interesting to see the various stages they go through. It's almost like a race, with the leading 3 trying to overtake each other.

Last 4 photos are all of the bigger Blue Venom. You can see she is in the home stretch. About 2 weeks left on her. I will start the flush in about 5 or 6 days.

Ah I have always heard good things about EM pro soil on these forums but never got around to using it.

I have only done one other coco grow and I believe I started flushing for the last 10 days...but that grow came down early due to the bud rot...I just used water pH'd to 5.8 everyday and made sure there was run off

The bud tasted fine and still burnt to a nice white ash so I still wonder just how long a flush is required in coco

"Flush" is a farce. Nice idea on the pro-soil Trail! Fix up that last N! Smart man! Gushing water through the root zone is largely pointless imo.

Yeah there is definitely a lot of misinformation out there, especially on cannabis forums where certain practices are hailed as the  "right" way

The drying and curing process is probably the place to really focus your attention once you have a grown a healthy plant to maturity

Nothing beats bud washing when it comes to drying and curing. I will put my cock on a block with that statement.

Yeah I agree, I tried it now with the my last harvest. Next day they most of the moisture has left the bud.

Buy 3 buckets. I bought 9L buckets. Get some bicarbonate of soda. (blue box: Robertsons) Get some lemon juice concentrate. I use Brookes Tru-lem. Fill bucket1 with luke warm water. Bucket2 with hot tap water. Not hot enough to burn. Bucket3 with cold tap water. Pour 150ml of lemon juice into bucket1. Pour half a cup (I use large coffee cup) of bicarbs into bucket1. Give it a quick stir. It should fizz. Now you're ready. Take a trimmed bud (make sure to leave some stalk on it so that you can hold the bud) and swish it around gently in bucket1 for 30 to 60 seconds. Rinse off in bucket2. Rinse off in bucket3. Shake off excess water. Lay washed buds on some carlton towelling with a fan on them for about 30 - 60min. Turn them once to make sure no excess water on them. Then place them on drying racks or hang them for final dry.

lol - I followed the same procedure, using the same brands too.

If you have experienced PM, use a 4th bucket. Make it no1 and add hydrogen peroxide to wash away any PM and continue as above. :-2cents

I had a bad case of PM on my last round. The reason I decided to do the bud washing actually. After reading up on the antibacterial and anti-fungal properties of both bicarb and lemon juice, I decided against the H2O2. I'm glad I did. No PM, and beautiful smelling and tasting weed. Just something to consider. :investigating

Great feedback Trailblazer, Im also of the opinion of keeping it all organic and natural. I was making reference to Doc Bud from 420 Magazine.

UPDATE

Day 48 of 12/12 and 38 of bloom.

Calyxes are swelling and pistils are shrinking. The Freak is definitely the longest flowering plant in the tent. Still almost all white, and hasn't quite turned the corner yet for that last phase of flowering. She really might just be the heaviest girl I've ever grown.

I closed the windows in that room yesterday due to high winds. The smell coming from there when I went to check on them last night was intense! Sickly sweet almost. Fruit/sour/cream/caramel. If you brush up against the LC-OG's you also get petrol/burnt rubber/pine. If you just smell the buds it is fruit and sour milk. Venoms don't stink much. Just a subtle fruit and skunk smell.

Last 4 photos are all of the smaller Blue Venom. Smallest plant and smallest buds in the tent. She has plenty of bud sites though, and is extremely frosty. She will also flower for at least a week longer than her bigger sister. So she might put out a respectable yield.

UPDATE

Day 51 of 12/12 and 41 of bloom

All the plants, except The Freak, are now in the last stages of flowering. Most have about 2 weeks left. First plant will be harvested this coming sunday. That will be the larger Blue Venom. She has put on some weight, and I expect she will put on a bit more in this week. She might actually give me a semi-decent yield. If she gives me 60g dry, I will be happy. Next up will be the smaller Blue Venom roughly 5 or 6 days later. Then the smaller LC-OG, followed by the 2 Lemons. Then The Freak will be last.

The Blue Venoms have been low odour plants from the beginning, until about 2 or 3 days ago when the larger BV all of a sudden became very stinky. She smells like an over-ripe banana. It is a beautiful smell. She is also the frostiest plant. Literally covered in a thick white crust of trichs. That must be the white widow influence.

Last 5 photos are all of the largest plant in the tent. One of the Lemon OGK's. The photos are a little disappointing, because they don't show just how big she is. She will yield very well. A few of her leaves are a little burnt, but overall she is very healthy and happy.

Good work.. I've said it like 20 times but for real man. You have got that strain on point!!

How much space do you have left  in that tent? Space for another 2?
