Trailblazer420 650 Posted March 17, 2019 Anyone look into this yet? I read that diluted honey or aloe juice works well. Is this exercise worth it or is commercial rooting gells the way to go? Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
420SA 1,778 Posted March 17, 2019 I would stick with the commercially available options for consistency. Aloe vera gel can work, Aloe arborescens too. Not the store bought juice, the actual gel from the plant I use the Dynaroot powder as Builders stocks it and it works well for me

I'll say 95% success rate. I like the gel idea for the powder to stick on. Not in need of clones atm but mommy plant has gotten a little out of control for my liking and I don't just chuck potential clones. I'll give diluted honey a go for S&GsSent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
Dabtzar 16 Posted March 23, 2019 Aloe works very well (see pic) Remember clonex has PGR in it. But who cares if it works, such a little is being used. Tell you the truth I find anything work with some GA in it. Even plain water with aeration works. Sent from my ANE-LX1 using Tapatalk

Batista 171 Posted November 26, 2020 I just bought the gel from one of the online stores, its red and you store it in the fridge. I add Part B to bring the water up to 500ppm, then a teaspoon of the gel into the res, then airstone and heater, have roots around 4 days, complete in around 11 days for transplant. If you have never added nutes to your res, I suggest you try it,really speeds things up.
