Hmmm. Not so happy with the way these little guys are looking right now.
Does anyone know why the cotyledons and leaves are slightly yellow now?
Light too strong? Watering with bio buzz grow.
Temps are around 20-22 night 16 degrees.
Humidity 45-80
Light 105w cfl+ 2x 20w cfl
Any useful comments welcome.

And here is the recipe for the tea if anyone is up to it. Took a Lil hunt to find everything but OK that's another story.
The handwritten ratios below are for 20 litres which gets diluted to make 100 litres- which is what Sun Valley (a 420 international and THC farmer member) uses on his grow. Which begs the question holy F@ck how many plants does he have !!!. So obviously do the ratios to your requirements in terms of litres needed to end up with.
The vinegar is not written down but that's also 20ml.
Cook for minimum of 36 but best at 48 hours.

My little unknown genetics day or two before chop.

Hey everyone, Just want to know what your views are on the Fibre Pots, im trying to really fine tune my set up and get everything dialled in perfectly and I would like to know anyones views on Containers. I would like to go the Fibre pot route, but the downside would be increased watering due to the medium drying out more but one would just double up the size of the pot to compensate for this, Or i could go with Large Plastic pots again maybe going bigger to avoid the roots maybe getting to big for the pot and wrapping around it. Smart pot would be same concept as the fibre pot i think i would assume same concept
Here's my comment;
I tend to overdo things so the fabric smart pot will probably save a couple of lives. Ha ha.
I grew in homemade fabric pots last year and loved them
-
Duh. I guess I should've thought of that :-)

All going well still... besides from burning the top of my plants with a 600w hps which I soon realised was too hot for this space so I've got a 400W in there now. Top dressed with EWC for the last time a week ago. Been watering with coconut water every week
Looking mighty fine. What is EWC?

Z while I have you buzzing around 420, with regards to the tea, how often would it be required of me to feed the ladies and would it need to be the quality of her majesty's tea?
Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
firstly im no guru on the subject, but here's what i did:
In a 5 litre water bottle drill two holes in the cap so that a aquarium air tube can fit in the hole.
Use water from 1 cup washed rice or oats, that starchy milky water.
Add to bottle
Add 2 handfuls of compost
A table spoon or two of molasses, I use date molasses, extremely high in trace elements, better than the cane type imo, which highly dosed with pesticides.
A table spoon of seabird guano powder
A tsp of seagro
Sometimes a dash or mycoroot
A handful of organic fertilizer based on poultry manure/kelp meal
Connect the aquarium pump, after 48hours, the concoction will have a woody smell like mushrooms almost
Feed to plants until runoff, repeat after a week or two
Nice one. I'll give that a whirl too. Sounds yummy for the plants

LOL bru sorry we jacked your thread, she is ready chop her, now lets shop :-hilarious
Well alrighty then. Soon as I tear myself away from wish.

Lol it's like a chinease bidorbuy but a lot cheaper and on a worldwide scale . You can get anything you can think of from it from it lol. The stc1000 temp controllers that gthydro sells for 650 are on there for R180 , got a few of them and they work well
Damn! Checking it out right now. Cool shopping app too.
-
Hmm. I can see why. Oh well, money well spent ;-)
-
Damn!
That is super slick.
Hats off bro.
I'd be keen to learn more re the arduino setup when you've got it waxed. :-)))
Seems like I'm gonna have to learn programming real quick. Thanks for sensor info... gonna look into it today.
Can't wait to see your grow
-
Jeez you are organized man. Wish I could operate like that. Sounding like an awesome build.. can't wait to see pics.
Where's a good place to get sensors? I'd like that in my new box. Are you using raspberry pi as base for controlling?
-
Nice i wish you luck and look farword to seeing how it comes out. the CHP which seed bank is that form?
Dinafem from cannabisseeds.co.za
Got Og Kush CBD on the way from them too.
Next working day delivery
-
Wish sounds great. Thanks GLO. thanks for your comments too, shadowassasin. I'm looking for sedative effect and I'd like to make sure and CBD content has chance to develope.
Articles I've read indicate waiting for a predominance of amber so I reckon I'll wait awhile.
Heading off to browse wish.

Could one of the knowledgeable growers please comment on the readiness of this plant for harvest?
Would be greatly appreciated. She's going straight into an olive oil extraction to use as medication.
I don't have any better magnification than the zoom on my camera and cheap magnifying glass. ( looking for a good usb magnifier)
Thanks :- loveit

Hi people
Seeing as all the seeds I popped two weeks ago have survived, I thought I would start this diary as a means of keeping track.
2 of them are CHP (California Hash plant) and the other 3 are unknown gift from a friend, I've marked them M.
Soil is perlite, coco peat and potting soil.
PH around 6.5-7
1x 105w 6500k CFL light
Small USB fan
Temps around 25C
Humidity around 40- 60 percent
Light on 22 hrs/ day
They stayed damp too long when electricity went out so one of the CHP stems is a tad weak.
This is a pic of one of the M's after two weeks.
This is the little CHP that had stem damage. Looks like it'll recover.
They are sharing the space with 4 clones that I have in an aeroponic cloner. It's a little home made job and there were teething issues but it seems ok now. We will know it works if I get roots ;-)
That's it for now.
Take it easy.
-
So this happened today. Buddy of mine stopped by unexpectedly with 4 clones for me.
Germinating room is suddenly really crowded.
: woop
Hoping this cobbled together aeroponic clone gets me some roots.
Apparent the mother plants are 9 years old. I've never heard of that before. Could it be true that you can keep mother plants healthy for 9 years?
Ps. 10l bucket. 1000l/hr pump. 8 fine mist jets.

Hi Guys.
I'm wanting to order from cannabisseeds.co.za for the first time and was wanting any feed back from people that have used them in the passed.
Are they legit? and are their seeds good quality.
Any feedback would be really great.
Thanks
Yes legit, ordered twice already. They are kak busy atm, orders seem to be doubling month on month especially since the latest court judgement. You can link up with the owner on the facebook page if needed.
Any feed back on germ rate please?
Getting 100% germ rate on my amnesia kush & royale haze. My soil mix was off so I lost 2 of 4 amnesia kush. Nursing them back to health in proper growing medium.

Popped two of my California Hash Plant seeds. Both came up strong in 3 days.
From cannabisseeds.
:-loveit

Right. That's a real problem. I had that before in a windowsill and it got too hot and one of the stems literally kinked and went mushy just above soil line. Thanks for head up and info.
Trying to get my properly insulated box up and ready.
-
20-26 above 27 and you run a large risk of seedlings damping off
What is damping off?
My seedling ca inet hit 30 c before I got a little USB fan in there.
-
All 6 seeds have popped so that's off to a great start, should be getting the Girl scouts cookie.
Other than that it's fucking cold atm so hope the plants survive, temps in the box not to bad.
Pretty much all for now, keep it real.

Woohoo. That's great.
All the best man

Here's a useless fact for you since you are in roughly the same area.
With all the fires around the average co2 ppm in the air has skyrocketed from an average of 403 to 679. So while the fires were horrible and I don't wish it on anyone (Been a fire victim myself) I find it Interisting how it's effected the co2 levels and your plants will be loving the extra co2.
Yeah awesome for the plants. They're beaming and I'm wheezing lol
They're sitting in an outdoor greenhouse till the lights come on so I guess they're really pleased.
-
Those CMH lights are fantastic, will really like to see it in action on both cycles. Is it a 600w or 400w unit?
Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
Its rated 315w... real plug n play unit from growguru in PE. Everything you need in the box.
I'm just finishing this unknown strains flowering then transferring this unit and another identical one to my " proper" flower box.
I'll setup this grow box with cfl for early veg cycles and move to big box to finish.
Well ;-) that's the plan anyway.

Probably overwatered then. Shit.
Pretty sure the bio biz grow has enough nutrient in it for such a youngster.
Thanks for the info @420SA
