I have a mate who got one of those. If you can lay down the dollar for that by all means go for it. It's an awesome piece of kit.

I'm gonna go the DIY route though. I just ordered a 45L/min air pump and I'm not sure whether its strong enough for a vortex system

It should be fine for this airlift brewer but ideally I wanna do a vortex

Why can't i like your posts bru? There's no option.

A single QB288 for the 3 plants? What sort of wattage have you been running it at and height from the plants?

It's similar to the one you sold, 2 panels on 1 sink. 240w driver, LED's running at 75% (dimmed). 45cm from the main cola.

I can agree to the tastier flowers, I have my Amnesia Haze and the taste is next level. Honestly top 3 of the best tasting strains I've ever smoked. Also have the FF soil. I must remember to moer some moleasses in these girls for flowering, want some sweetness to my buds too

Awe, i usually give molasses in the 2nd last week of plain water.

    I'm using a QB288v2 (samsung lm301b 3000K)

Yeah I know but I've never had problems starting seed in other soils straight up but this is clearly not the case with their soil.

Some strains will do fine I'm sure

Maybe a heavy feeding plant will work yeah. Usually i pot them once the taproot pops out the jiffy and have zero problems hey.

Freedom Farm soil is very strong. I have nitrogen toxicity in a small seedling due to the strength of the soil maybe that's the same happening here.

I'm going to try the seedling mix next time.

Are these in freedom Farm classic?

If you read the writing on the bag, it says not suitable for seedlings.

@CG420za nice! i havent really looked into AACT yet. what medium are you growing in? i've just switched from synthetic nutes to organic & i think understand most of it. any suggested reading? theres a lot floating around but looking for an organic grow bible or something along those lines

I'm using Freedom Farms premium soil. Organic is better. Tastier flowers, no need to worry about pH. Feed the soil, not the plant. LOL, i only read what's on this site bruv. Just remember, happy microbes is what you're going for.

LoL looks amazing brother honestly, nice and thick colas. I'll be honest mine isn't even that big, the colas are also not that huge. I'm hoping to change that with this next round coming up

Thanks bruv, in all honesty, this is my 1st grow that's this fat and bulky. I think it's the light TBH.

@CG420za was asking about EM but biobizz will be good as well if you dont mind?

So the BioBizz feed happens at every watering. I stick to the standard schedule until about half way through veg then i ramp it up until i notice slight signs of possible burn, then drop the strength a little. EM I do at 1st pot up, then every 2-3 weeks. On those days I don't do nutes. Just EM and whatever additives are required like amino's, sylica, etc. I will be halving my nute input on the next grow and do more AACT. I'll be using the EM in that and also looking at other teas.

I got myself one of the ceramic heaters for a lizard terrarium. Someone here recommend it. It is awesome my plants love it. And running the 100w heater for 6 hours will save you money in the long run.

Does it help with the RH at all?

  10. Morning okes. Small update on the auto run. Zkittlez and CBD Crack came down, dried for 8 days, then I spotted some budrot. I immediately set off to trimming.

Zkittlez, 25.10g dry bud lost from the main cola. (108.63 total dry)
CBD Crack, 5.7g dry bud lost from the main cola. (65.85 total dry)

Needless to say I'm pretty bummed about that. The Gorilla Glue is still going and is fatter than the other two. I'm hoping she won't have rot.

Horrible bru. I was keeping my eye on that my buds are much dryer than normal. Did you dry it in a box? That's usually a way to go

I dried it in my old grow cab. Had a fan in there pulling out the humid air, but it didn't help having those rainy days man. Kinda fucked me over. I lost 32g dry bud in total, 26g on the Zkittlez and 6g on the CBD Crack. Now i'm panicking about the GG coz it has the fattest buds of the lot.

You need a fan circulating air. Dehumidifier aswell if it is wet and cold like it is currently.

I'm looking at getting a dehumidifier. Just not sure how good it'll be. Like what one should i be going for?

  12. Yussis okes, the bud rot strikes again.

I'm so bummed about this. Seems like it's impossible to dry my buds in Cape Town...

Any pointers for drying WITHOUT an aircon?

  13. Yo man, when you add the biobizz nutes to your water it'll level at about 5.3/5.4

Also, you're doing an organic grow, pH shouldn't be a worry. The microbes in the soil will buffer the pH.

Do some reading on AACT and how to inoculate your soil. You'll never have a pH problem

  14. So I chopped the CBD Crack and Zkittlez on Saturday morning. I just removed the biggest leaves and hung them up to dry. Hopefully I won't run into issues coz my humidity is kak high and my temps are below 20. Here are a few pics of my bitches.
