  1. I've ordered the cheap yellow pen now. Raised my lights about 5cm and readjusted fans. Also ordered a second thermometer because the one I have is all over the place.

I'll adjust my feeding too. I hope all of this helps.

The slurricane will be repotted into a 20litre fabric pot. But she still has some time to go before she gets flipped.

  2. Thanks for all the input guys.

So, I feed using biobizz grow and now I'm using the bloom. The last feed I used 0.5ml grow per litre and 1ml bloom per litre. I'll only be using the bloom going forward.

I'll get the cheaper yellow pen at takealot now and see how that works.

Maybe before I try to repot I should just try to check my ph.

  3. I dont see any roots at the top. Thats why I thought it could be something else. But after lifting the pot, I saw roots poking out the bottom.

I raised the light a bit and readjusted the fans thinking that it might be a temperature issue. My thermometer doesn't really work

What up bro @Tee_Aitch_SeeI had a auto on the last round that i think got root bound. Refused to flower.

Was in a 8 liter pot.

After about 2-3 weeks of trying to get it to flower. 8 cut my loses and choped it down bro.

Atleast u got to flowering. @Bakstein420 idea of cutting the bottom of the pot sounds like a possible solution. If u not to worried about saving the pot.

I think I'm just going to let them finish bro. Im too attached to chop them and start new. I'll try cutting out the base of the pots and putting them into the 20litre fabric boykies

I have seen people cut the base off the pots and replant like that. I'm not sure how effective that is if the roots are already circling up.

What size pots are they? I imagine you would be watering more often if you had a pot full of roots?

I think that they are 11 litre pots.

I'm hoping that it will work. I'll try it later this week after feeding when they are in a better mood

  6. Hey fam,

I've run into a bit of an issue with the autos. I think that they might be root bound. They aren't looking happy at all. I checked the bottom of the pots and I have some roots poking out.

I'm thinking that I should use the 20l fabric pots I just got and fill with soil and place the autos in their current pots into that after cutting open some large holes to allow some roots to grow through. I don't know what else I could do to possibly remedy.

I dont want to repot because it will cause too much stress. They are in week 6 now. Week 2 of flower.

I just misted them this morning. Gave them a drink of water on Sunday and they are due for a feed tomorrow or Thursday

  7. Quarter pounder autos (capeapeseeds)- day 30. They've started to pre flower a few days ago. I would have liked a little bit more growth but I'm hoping for a little bit more stretch during flower.

I still notice some clawing on 1 of them but I think by next week it should be good.

Slurricane Clone - did some defoliation over the weekend. Her tops appear to be even now so I'm holding off on the super cropping and allowing her to veg.

I've got my light set to 19/5. I had it on 20/4 but slowly decreased the time to allow the slurricane to get a little more rest. Im going to further adjust the timing to 18/6.

I've also added the QB75 to my setup and raised the light slightly.

  8. Quarter Pounder Autos - Day 24. I started some LST on the girls last week and they seem to be doing OK. I had some clawing on the 1 that stretched but she's looking better now after allowing her soil to dry out a bit before feeding.

Slurricane clone - I received her on 12 September (pic 3). I've been playing around with some super cropping and topping. Pic 4 shows what she currently looks like.

  9. Hey all,

Here's an update on the grow.

I attempted to FIM and play around with super cropping on the slurricane clone. I've only used LST before on my autos. But I'm really happy with how well she responded. Her last feed was on Friday 16 Oct which is the same day I fimmed and pinched. I just gave her a light dosage of seagro.

Quarter Pounder Autos are at day 16 since being planted. A little stretch on the 1. But I'll keep a close watch.

I'll most likely start some LST on the autos next week or this weekend.

  10. The final update for this grow diary,

Small yields but that was expected with only 75watt of lighting.

Sour Diesel Auto = 17g (pic in previous post)

    Cocopopo Auto = 19g (pic 1)

    Gelato Samba Auto = 17g (pic 2)

Total weight = 53g. So just over 0.7g per watt although the Sour Diesel started and ended 3 weeks ahead of the other 2.

Definitely not as dense as I would want them to be but I'm expecting better results from the new grow with the addition of the QB130 to my setup.

Thanks to all for your valuable input and advice. On to the next one.

  11. Hey Fellow Growers,

I've started a new grow recently and I'll be posted updates here.

2x Quarter Pounder Autos (3 day germination, planted 4/10/2020)

1x Slurricane clone (Not sure about the age)

Not yet added: 2x Do-si-dos photoperiod (I'll germinate these when the autos go into flower so that I can flip them after I harvest the autos)

Lighting - 130 watt LED quantum board 3500k from @growopz . I'll add my QB75 when they start to flower.

Medium - Orgasoilux organic living earth blend.

Nutes - Biobizz grow, seagro, molasses, biobizz bloom.

Nice grow so far. Also thinking of adding more light to my grow. Will start with one QB75 and eventually get to 3. Should be a nice spread and wattage for my tent.

Re the dry dry soil. What was said earlier is correct, if its super dry then it struggles to retain and all the water runs through. So what I like to do then, is water (say if you usually water 3 litres) 0.5 litres at a time, every 5-10 min till all 3l are done. That way you are slowly saturating the soil and you will come right.

I have found with a lot of mediums if you just chuck it in, you almost see the soil 'avoid' the water like that special hydrophobic material or whatever it is you get.

Good luck with the rest, looking forward to seeing more.

From the plant you already harvested, how dense were the nugs? Looked like a lot of bud. My grow is also nearing the end. Not tooo much bud, but dense as lead.

    Hey bru

It wasn't rock hard dense but still pretty decent.

What I did for the soil was I lightly dropped each pot a few times and added about 2 handfuls of living soil to each. Then i did exactly that...slowly watered. After about a week or so, they were fine.

Harvest day for the cocopopo auto and gelato samba auto is today. I'll upload some pics after the chop. They're jut finishing their dark period.

I germinated 2 Quarter Pounder Autos and planted them on Sunday. Also using living soil medium. I'll start a new diary for those girls

The last picture is of the previous harvest.

Shot for the feedback guys. Guess i got to check sex now 🙄

So about 36 hours in darkness?

I didn't even know that this was a thing. Autos not auto'ing.

36 hours of darkness pre harvest? Some do 48 hours. I've only ever tried 24, granted I've only had 2 grows so far.

12 hours dark/12 hours light to induce flowering.
